The church is marching on the gate of hell shall not prevail. cool
So, the villagers that were rendered homeless are your 'gate of hell'?

If the church has nothing to fear, why come with security agencies to harass harmless villagers Why shooting?

The church should do what is right and compensate the affected villagers accordingly.

18 man delegation?.... for what?

Is this not the same huge number of delegates APC complained about and campaigned against?

So what have they changed? Nigerians have been sold a dummy.

I don't blame them anyway, I blame the shallow headed Nigerians that voted this scam.
Behold, The Wailing Wailers!

That 'scam' will last for the next four years; deal with it,sir.

..
Are you sure it's top feed you used?
Yes,boss. Issues started a month ago and still persists. Farmers around us who changed have seen improvements. No feed seems to be good and No one seems to be bad. Its really worrisome.

davidzfarm18:
The poultry feed industry is facing serious challenge due to increase in exchange rate. increasing cost of local raw materials and the competition(largely on prices
some.
In my area for example. Farmers have complain seriously about drop in production using top feed and vital feed. late last yr , it was animal care when they tried to substitute for soyer due to it's unavailability.
That why we need to come together in this forum and fashion out the most effective means of solving the Fred challenge which constitute more than 70% of our cost of production.
It's time to look inward and tap into the most important potential we have on our inside as a forum.
Remain ever blessed.
You are right, sir. The feed challenge is a huge one and its really time to look inward. You can imagine layers mash appearing like chicks mash...all powdery, no grains to pick.

It is all well!

Thanks guys, the birds are from Obasanjo Farm, i collected them 26th of Jan. I am using livestock feed. At sukkotfarm I am thinking of that 2million shortfall as well... may be i will wait a month or two to save before collecting the DOC but in this business time is as important as money.
Boss, How has been your experience using Livestock feed? Top Feed has caused us drop in production and small sized eggs, so considering Livestock/Vital Feeds.

Is livestock feed okay and the price competitive?

Thanks,sir.

I can only pray that these girls are brought back to their families hale and hearty.

You can imagine missing your loved ones for over a year.

It wouldn't have been a news again if they were reported to be dead all these while.

Yoruba's will say 'Omo eni ku, san ju Omo eni nu lo'

Almighty, pls help our govt to bring back these girls alive. Amen!

Women are smart! Do not tell your friend nor wife; they may not believe you and the woman in question may frame you up.

My advise: Tell the woman you've agreed to sleep with her at a location; ask your friend and wife to be around at that time. Let them see for themselves!

It is well with you ooo!

segun1976. I just noticed something. You said the last Lasota was given to them at 16 weeks & they are now 27 weeks. That's 11 weeks back. Besides, you weren't the one who administered the vaccine, so you can't vouch for what was done. Leaving the Sensitivity/serological test aside, common sense/experience dictates that your birds are due for another round of Lasota. Please, do the needful.
Sir, are you saying the birds are dying because they have not been given Lasota?

IMO, @segun1976, can you take ur time to spend few extra hours on the farm esp the pen house.

Also, can you upload a pic of the mortalities seen?

Check the nipples and ensure water goes round. Are your birds on lighting program?

Thanks!

Agriculture › Re: How To Set Up Profitable Poultry Farm by twoMcfemad: 4:16pm On Jun 29, 2015
Poster, I feel this article was copied from somewhere and not your original input.
If not, how would you claim broiler birds will be ready for market at 12 weeks? On what basis?
How did you arrive at your 15million naira per annum as profit for a farmer?
Where do you sell your pullet sized eggs for 600 in this country and who buys your old layers for 1200\1500?
You didn't make mention of cost of production like feeds, drugs, salary when calculating your profit of eggs/meat sales.

So many false information in this article and I guess they are all in a bid to attract new entrants into the business.

You're one of the arm chair consultants we've around. This is not an attack but an observation and an advise to look through your article again and modify accordingly.

You have good information contained in the article, though.

Thanks and Regards

Dont be shallow, South West and North Central will vote for GEJ.
I laugh when I hear people like you saying Southwest will vote for GEJ... Keep encouraging yourself till Buhari will be sworn in May 29, 2015.
South west ko, West South ni!

Back to the topic, I don't see the Deputy Gov's decampment as a blow to APC in the state regarding the elections- the deputy governor is a paper weight politician with no political structure. Nothing happened when Ogun Dep Gov decamped to SDP with the 3 Senators and 6 out of 9 house of rep members, instead, Amosun\APC keep waxing stronger and shall win the elections.
Also, shall we say PDP will lose Niger state because the Dep Gov decamped to APC?
My brother, politics goes beyond Nairaland...

@Trueigbo, your birds are doing fine at this age. Your floor spacing and feeder\drinker arrangement is good. Your birds look healthy, too.
However, please hang the feeders and place the drinkers to reach the crop level of the birds.
@samuel25, ur bird shall recover, put it on the floor, try and gently insert the organs(if any outside the vent) back, spray with oxytet aerosol and allow the bird rest with feed and vitamins 2ru water. All the best.

@fishleg123, are your birds on grower\layer mash? What quantity are they eating? Any lighting program at night? Have you deworm\delouse them? Whats their water intake & vaccination program?
Your answers to these questions will help solve your challenge,IMO

You can introduce the nests now and open nests are better. Ensure you pick the eggs regularly to avoid dirts and pecking.
