Holywizard:Are you serious? That sounds like a lot for a nursery and primary school. |
yeancol11:Just trying to understand what you were referring to with your previous comment that's all. |

Nice school.... http://www.md-school.net/ |
Ran into this article and I thought it'd be good information for luxury car dealers on here. Most brand new luxury cars bought in Nigeria usually come through Dubai so this is something to be aware off. http://www.businessinsider.com/nearly-400k-worth-of-luxury-cars-may-be-scrapped-from-tilted-cargo-ship-2015-1 |
manutdadex:Na wa o.... I guess asking for concrete evidence that is common practice in other industralized countries is asking for too much. |
Just out of curiosity why don't they EVER show pictures or videos of the ACTUAL car in nigeria when they make these announcements? That youtube video is obviously not it since it's a right hand drive car. SMH.....This is more confusing for the masses!!! How much? What safety standards were used as guidelines? How does this directly benefit the economy? Is there a local content requirement? etc.... |
wolebanks:some are saying they've started charging the 70% rate some say they haven't. |
Hey guys any word on the 70% policy yet? I'm getting some mixed messages from clearing agents. |
I be SWAT team member na ....good luck in your bizness! |
Bros just out of curiosity is your container a direct sail to the coast of west africa because $1300 seems rather low from Cali. |
Oga boss abeg include the VIN in your post when you don settle lipseal: My people..make una nor vex say i quiet since morin ooo...its been 1 hectic/eventful day...I will put up an update in a bit and will try to make it as brief as possible cos I just enter house not long... |
Not sure we are going to be able to determine if its worth the price. If the OP has accepted the car then that's his prerogative at this point. I just want the VIN to have an idea of what inspired eventually sold him. Oga lipseal post the VIN na! chibabe3: please let's be patient with him since we have supported him for this long and hopefully the VIN and picture will be posted. Then we will analyse and honestly decide if it is worth the price. |
Personally I think the guy probably got a lemon. Inspired just doesn't come across as a guy that'll go all out to satisfy a customer. Especially one that's not buying an "expensive" car. Abeg post VIN make we check history sef. SMH chibabe3: the truth can never be supressed. Don't give up my people as we wait to hear from Lipseal, but please moderator don't hide my clients post. |
If you talk now all the defenders will start saying you're hating. Can you imagine all the stuff he put the customer through and this is the best response he can come up with. I'm just loss for words..... Idowuogbo: O ye supermods!!!! Hide this insensitive bullshyte! We are not here to read the confession of an olowo without an Assistant! Hide this nonsense oooo |
Well said! Truckpusher: You have a point my friend, but you can also agree with me that bringing this to the front page isn't going to be the ideal thing to do considering the fact that this guy is building a business that has lots of pitfalls and he has not consolidated. |
That's a fair assessment. I think the only reason the thread has gone this long is because many people are upset at the fact that some people are defending Inspired while attacking anyone that questions him. Also the fact the NL has refused to front page an issue like this also has a lot of people upset. I hope this issue is resolved on the 7th even though I am still skeptical; too many red flags. Truckpusher: You've spoken well but the truth remains that this thread is heading to it's 17th page and the manner in which the people are bickering on this old show speaks volume. The only lesson left for people to learn here is for them to make their choices either to use inspired or not to use him instead of making noises that won't make any difference. |
While there is probably some element of truth to maybe some people taking personal shots at Inspired unfortunately he has brought this on himself. Any business owner knows things will not "always" work out the way you intend but where Inspired has lost a lot of credibility is the fact that he has shown himself to be deceitful. The fact that there are multiple cases with the similar complaints show a pattern of behavior not an error. I've defended him under the same principle you mentioned in the past even though I don't know him but these complaints no longer warrant giving him a benefit of doubt. Truckpusher: I do not think so my friend. I think it is burning because some people sees it as an avenue to discredit someone we should know how to differentiate between constructive criticism and criticism born out jealousy, hatred and let us pull him down syndrome. |
Got it all out yet? alexisalex: STFU, it is obvious who you are, a frustrated competitor, youve said youre a pre order dealer too, so youre happy to see your rival go down. |
You're a very funny guy.....that's all I'm going to say. I don't trade jabs I only discuss facts. Thanks for your very interesting take on my post though! alexisalex: Youre just a bitter and frustrated car seller, who has just seen this as an oppurtunity to get back at a competitor, heck you even went to open a thread with spurious claims. |
Did you read the OP's original complaint? This is hardly about "satisfied" customers. This is about Mr Inspired being a liar and cheat. I wonder if you would feel the same if you paid for a 2012 BMW X5 (approx $45k) and you got a flooded vehicle? johnwell: Why do we like creating threads about InspiredM & others when things go wrong? how many satisfied clients of his opens an appreciative thread? Any business man faces challanges, it's a normal thing, not all transaction goes smothly. |
Mr Inspired is slowly trying to clean up in a sneaky way....just noticed his ad banner has changed from "21 days" to "31 days." Doesn't even have the decency to make a public apology to all the claims piling up against him! A smart business person would have stepped up and issued some kinda public statement to try to put out all the fire but not him. At least he hasn't issued any "CHEERS" comments either so that's a positive. |
Don't get me wrong I believe in pre-order but I was making a point specifically with how this deal is about to go down. Bt the way are you related to Inspired or how do you know the car will be delivered? Also if the car is going to be delivered in a matter of days does the buyer get to decide if he wants it or not? After all what Inspired is going to be offering is not what he requested or agreed on. bimbor: Lol.....@Bolded |
@ OP my recommendation is that you ask for your refund and find another car through another dealer. I highly doubt you're going to get a car you will be happy with long term. While I commend your demeanor and maturity in trying to handle this issue I think you should allow history set your expectations of Inspired at this point. lipseal: I pointed that out in my first post already...No excitements or whatsoever, just want to get this done and over, he has promised so lets wait till 7th |
lipseal: @bravolad for the record, I think you should read my first post again, I said i have read over the years of pre-order deals going bad on NL (not with inspiredm), while i recon a couple of his past customers have been less than satisfied in the past, I believe this is part of business, its not possible to always perfectly please every single client. tbh, for me, the only possible deal-breaking complaint I noticed about inspired was that of betalyf and by the time he opened his thread, i had long placed my order with him. Even at that, my actual problem with him was pretty much an impossibility (not knowing another ride was sent after he must have seen shipment BL and other docs)There in lies my issue with this Inspired guy! He lied and is probably still lying. What's the point of doing a pre-order if you end up with a car already in Nigeria? |
Also I can almost 100% guarantee he has never done a pre-order in 21days from the US/Canada! |
Personally I don't know why anyone would insist on doing business with him from her on out. If anyone does and they get played then they better not complain on NL. It would help if Seun and the other mods on here would help look into the issues. But I guess the almighty green paper might get in the way of that getting accomplished. His ads and banners are still plastered all over NL. I don't get it! aaidel: after following a lot of the complaints on inspired i think his problem is threefold |
Did Inspired ever answer why he didn't know the wrong car was shipped and cleared? Saying sorry does not clear anything as far as I'm concerned. For the OP it makes send just to get a good car and move on but there are several principle issues with Inspired and as long as he doesn't face them and address them FULLY his word still means nothing. A large showroom does not mean you are a good businessman. It just means you know how to play the game at other people's expense! |
Bros abeg ignore comments that are irrelevant to this very serious issue. Idowuogbo: Azz muncher, na the grade cars e dey sell he dey use feed u and ur entire generation ba? |
Not sure I completely believe that. However if that was the case why wont he bow out gracefully? ojeffo: Now let me tell you guys...INSPIRED HAS PORTED TO OIL AND GAS..SO HE DOES'NT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT AUTO BIZ ANYMORE |
