Please Op abeg what was the price of crude when your hero was there and the price now? Our main source of dollar is down by 80%? NOI always warned us to prepare for tougher times ahead back then in 2014. |
GspotAngela:Did you just write all Igbos? Nne don't be quick to generalize because there are lots of hardworking and honest Igbos that don't suffer from your so called victim mentality. Following your logic, it means all Nigerians are corrupt and fraudsters because of the few bad ones among us. |
Wow! Nice one Inno nwa amama. Kudos to Bruce. We need more patronage from government officials. As for the fool saying IVM is not tested in terms of quality, he did it with okada and I strongly believe he will achieve same fate with the car while you die in poverty and hatred. |
Sun newspaper, owned by Orji Kalu published the story yet una dey call Lai and PMB. Make una fear God now. |
Must everything be about politics wailers? She died at age 90 for crying out loud. This is a celebration of life and one day, mama will be cerebrated as one of the advocates of the great change we are experiencing. As for the fellow that said she died a wasteful life, pray that you reach 60 years talk more of 90. |
Wikipedia said that it was Maj. Ibrahim Taiwo that gave the order so why una dey blame MM? The Federal troops entered Asaba around October 5, and began ransacking houses and killing civilians, claiming they were Biafran sympathisers. Leaders summoned the townspeople to assemble on the morning of October 7, hoping to end the violence through a show of support for "One Nigeria." Hundreds of men, women, and children, many wearing the ceremonial akwa ocha (white) attire paraded along the main street, singing, dancing, and chanting "One Nigeria." At a junction, men and teenage boys were separated from women and young children, and gathered in an open square at Ogbe-Osawa village. Federal troops revealed machine guns, and orders were given by Maj. IBRAHIM TAIWO to open fire. It is estimated that more than 700 men and boys were killed, some as young as 12 years old, in addition to many more killed in the preceding days. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asaba_massacre |
Just got off phone with Isa my Mai tea, told him to bring two agege bread and blue-boat butter. We all must patronize made in Naija goods. |
That's nice, they need more patronage from all the state and federal government officials. It's time for PMB and the NA to walk the talk and not just promoting naija made on news paper pages. |
The economy will be boosted if 50% of cars in the convey of all Nigerian government official is from innoson. |
Know2020:Shee Cross River State dey for North? Victim mentality. Baba just dey drop it like it's hot for wailers this week; budget, taraba, Nigerian not criminal. Chai! this is not the right time to be a wailer. |
Igbos are the greatest losers for this nonsense party yet these wailers still carry PDP matter for head pass others. They gave PDP most of their votes yet the 95% people keep getting everything. I can't wait to see them campaign vigorously for people they are now labelling almajiri / Boko come 2019. |
This is an insult to Orubebe. All that matters to Bruce Lee is the attention the tweets bring. I won't be surprised if I hear him ask for the meaning of "twitter ineffectual Buffon" tomorrow. Finally, twitter no dey increase vote in case he is eying 2019. if in doubt Atiku Vs PMB APC primary election is a perfect case study. |
agabaI23:any post 2015 election news paper or website is a propaganda machine. 10 years in the business is the acceptable threshold. |
mightyhaze:Its high time seun comes up with list of approved sources. Authority newspaper its owned by Ifeanyi una, capital oil aka Oga TAN. How come no other reputable media house carried this story? |
Nice more of this. Op provide better source abeg. This administration is working slowly but wailers especially IPOB won't be impressed. |
Reckless spending without remorse is common among Niger Delta people. Share the money mentality is really taking its toll on them. No wonder the area is still underdeveloped despite billions of naira budgeted for these activities. Like GEJ like Boro. |
After reading some comments here especially from wailers and IPOB, I swore never to argue with them on NL or other platform. Their daftness is beyond redemption. |
Allocation of outrageous amount for maintenance of State government is a normal trend since 1999 in all the 36 states of the federation. Many will shed tears if states and NA release a copy of their budget. Even fayose that is crying foul is not left out. All naija politicians are same whether PDP or APC. This is a wake up call for all to also scrutinize the states as we are already doing to the FG. |
The change is already here but many are not aware. Since the inception of this administration, we Nigerians (APC and PDP supporters) are bringing about gradual changes in governance especially at the federal level. Our hunger for information is forcing the media houses to sit up to their responsibilities thus inspiring competition among them as they struggle to deliver the latest happening in the corridors of power. Though this has lead to proliferation of false stories thanks to some scrupulous elements that are just after drawing traffic to their website but the gains are far greater. A Government that is aware that its citizens are watching and scrutinizing every of its steps will strive greatly to deliver and work for the good of the masses who are always at the receiving end of their actions and inactions. Including the States and Local governments in this close monitoring will go along way in enabling a holistic improvement in bringing dividends of democracy at all level. So dear wailers, IPOB and zombies, I call on you all to include the State and Local governments in the scrutiny the Federal government is already enjoying. "Country good! Country good!" na the masses go benefit from am pass. |
Though I'm not fan of Bruce but patronizing our made in Naija products is a noble idea and will go along way in improving our economy. But then, the indigenous manufacturers need to improve the quality of their products and I believe this will go a long way in earning the trust of most Nigerians thus increasing their patronage. Finally we all especially our politicians (Bruce and others) need to go beyond snapping pictures with products and shouting buy made in Naija just for publicity. I'm sure nothing in Bruce's clothing is made in naija even the suit or hat. |
Iroh88:English. "Let he that thinks he stand take heed lest he fall"- The holy Bible (1Cor 10:12). |
Na from "leave me alone! Leave me alone!"crazy dey take start. Director don dey kolo small small. I'm a proud Igbo but not an IPOB. |
Yah givers never lack. While waiting for nysc and tired of searching for small job to keep myself busy, I gave my last 5k during launching. A family friend gave me a job of 20k few days later. I once donated 20k after Nysc, I got a contract job of more than 100k a month few days later. I worked a month before the contract was terminated but I know more blessings are on the way. |
buchisom1:Send application to recruiting@Enugudisco.com. Read the pic the Op attached for more info. |
If we can get a God fearing military ruler like JJ Rawlings of Ghana. He just need to scrap the NA. Try and jail any guilty looter. Amend our constitution to favour the masses especially fighting corruption. Rule for 3 years and adjust our educational system. Conduct a free and fair election once we start witnessing the benefits of corruption free Nigeria. If all these are done and we experience the benefits of good governance, nobody will like to go back to the old ways. Democracy is a curse to this Nation and nothing will change if we continue like this. |
Reference:Nobody is against constructive criticism. Wailing and crying murder over rumours or fabricated stories was not the type of opposition APC played. If you check this particular story, PMB is fishing out those that abused their responsibility to punish yet wailers are shouting and accusing him of always looking for who to blame. Is publicly calling out a staff for a mistake (as portrayed by the title of this thread) the same as quietly punishing a staff that erred for their selfish gains (Which is what PMB is doing)? |
See the reply of someone that wailers call dullard/illiterate yet some of them cannot speak in public talk more of addressing UN General Assembly. If this is the definition of dullard, I pray God turns me to a Presidential one like PMB unlike yam and goat PhD with no journal publication one (Jesus of Otuke, the shoeless one). |
phranseeqz:No I'm not at all. Some civil servants made amendments to the budget for their own financial benefit and the President is about to quietly fish them out and punish them to serve as deterrent to others. He did not even make it public yet wailers are here, accusing him of blaming others. What do wailers want self? *in PMB's voice*. |
Did presidential spokespeople release anything concerning this, No. That's the problem with the media these days, this was meant to be an in-house thing and "source " is releasing vital information. Yet wailers will blame it on Buhari. |
For those complaining its too long. this part is for you:- PT: Do you agree with the Ekweremadu Committee that the party should zone the presidency to the North? Fayose: You see, time will take care of that. In the first place, we lost the election because we did not pick our candidate from the north, not because Jonathan as a person was bad. It was just a political miscalculation. The fact is that my former president, I chose my word, my former president, Goodluck Jonathan, tried his best. But if I were him, I would not have contested at all, you understand. Because it is two ways: if he did not contest and the PDP lost out, he will still be an honourable man, and if he had given that opportunity to the north, those who defected from the PDP would not have defected. But that is story. Jonathan did his best and I will still continue to support him. You know I was not there when they took the decision about him becoming the flag-bearer, but it doesn’t matter. We can’t all put our mouth inside the soil. Somebody must remain with somebody. I will remain with Jonathan even if I am the only man standing. A man is not measured by the amount of food you have and the amount of properties you own. Sometimes sickness is good, it reshapes your life. Sometimes poverty is good, it helps your life. Sometimes failure makes you to reorder your life. It is not the end of your life.
