My brother, these are CHILDREN. That’s why there is such a thing as age of consent. Not only that, once a child has been taught and conditioned to know how easy it is to make 20k by spreading her legs, why would she choose to hawk pure water all day long to make 5k??
You have a valid point though but it still boils down to greed... When we are growing up. How parent do give us rules on how to look away from things that are not ours... Like begging for food even if you are hungry or stealing or borrowing... But some of my neighbors children will still do it while others will stay away... We are young too but we at least know what they call greed.
But I got your point on this one.

Well....it also beats my imagination that you expect us to accept someone who recommended failure to us.
Does that make sense?. There is a reason why they say failure is an orphan. For example, you recommended a guy for a job u could do, and your client doesn't like the job, do you expect the client to call the guy back?, so why should we call Tinubu for the top job, when the person Tinubu recommended can't deliver on his mandate?. Is that a leader?.
Secondly, you turned a public property(Lagos) to your luxurious private personal property(10% of whatever the state makes).
I am not recommending anyone to anybody... I don't even like any politician or give a hoot about anyone of them but I am just stating the fact due to the obi vs tinubu that people always compare. Aside those fact,
I don't care who will or who lose or who anyone vote for...
I use to follow afenifere before until I realized they are not a nutral they are pdp and I stop following them. To tell you I give no hoot about politicians

Exactly what I always say but people do always find excuse to blame... Imagine a teacher collecting 70 thousand plus and yet those teachers were lying that their money is below 50k at ikeja grammar school...
I was shocked when I saw this.
Lies from civil servants and the people in general.

Won't say much , just go through this 2012 thread, just the first page is enough for you to decide
https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing

Btw did you watch Obi's recent interview on channels? Is that what you call intelligence and confidence

Tinubu is made already, not there to loot Nigeria to dryness the way Buhari did

Please forget this media hogwash about Tinubu.

Make more enquiries quietly by yourself, don't follow the bandwagon effect on streets and social media

Meanwhile go through that thread,it's undiluted
I am not into politics not like any politician but the way people hate this man tinubu especially Eastern is questionable...
They say when hatred is too much it will start to become a mental illness...
My observation about this inlaw claims is no one try to question him how accurate he was because if he said tinubu is at that age then how old is obasanjo?
Obasanjo and tinubu are not even close age mate... Cos this brought me back to when tinubu was a governor and he fought obasanjo... The kings told him (obasanjo) that tinubu is like a son to him he should forgive and pay him his allocation and obansajo decline... They went to meet tinubu too and told him to prostrate for obasanjo and beg and tinubu said no... He said he will rather generate money in lagos to pay staffs and all... Mind you... He didn't collect a dime from FG and he never owed a penny to any civil servant in which other states that collect allocations were owing till they left office...
Truth is the truth
But people don't talk about this but spread lies... We love to suffer in this country.
Another thing is how can people blame someone who is not an office holder for the failure of another office holder person beats my imagination... I thought people said we don't vote for party but we vote for merits and individual... But they said Peter Obi with no merit is better now it starts to look like something else is wrong with Nigerians.
They said tinubu bought all properties in lagos but come to think of it... If I don't believe in something I won't invest in it... How many other governors invested in their state like tinubu did in lagos...
Another food for thoughts ... If tinubu should close up all
his investments in lagos thousands and even both people insulting him and working in his company will be jobless...
You are on point cos I checked the link you posted and I will say damn... Nigerias have a big problem
Mind you I am just stating facts and do now have any favorites but just fact and truth

All NBigerians takes bribes be it govt or private firms. The country run on bribery.
Swear if your papa, mama, brother, uncle never collect bribe before.
Civil service is the worst
Don't mind them... See all of them quoting like they are also free of bribe... Every Nigerians always have a price but will insult someone else collecting bribe... I once worked at indomie after I came back from cameroon to start afresh... They run the organization like a typical nigerians if you know what I mean and mind you the indians didn't know they do all these stuff... I had to stop the work cos the nigerians are very toxic and guess what... They said since I am leaving they will pay me till further notice... I went to the HR to complain not knowing they were even same thing... A man by name Mr Daniel said I should give him some amount out of the salary they will pay me that he will make sure they pay me if I accept his terms... I just left... Rather than paying some bastards I will rather leave the work for them...
Indomie at surulere... They are worse and even do cut people salaries for no reason and no one can question nor report because even up to HR they are bad...
Nigeria problem 90 percent are the citizens...
Imagine even this coming election... They said pdp is good because peter obi is there after peter obi left they said pdp is a their party... They said atiku and tinubu are theif but peter obi is a saint like he is not a politician... We are so bias but we want justice... How can that happen... Instead of everyone to fight all these politicians... Rather they are picking sides and they call it justice... Atiku corrupt tinubu corrupt and obi corrupt end of case...

Well, here it is again:

Typical case of blaming the victim. As if she raised herself. And many of these girls are not even 16. See the circumstances the girl was raised in. Do you know what she had been forced/fooled into doing previously??
Watch these two videos below:

I didn't erase your previous comment. I clicked on quote and the one you typed just vanished... Thought it was an error.
I understand some are forced into it and some are played by people who brought them but why are they still there? If I was taken to a state for job and I saw it's not what I intended to do... First is to find an escape route not staying there and blaming. We are human not animals... The difference between human and animals is thinking... They didn't use gun nor chain her down... If they actually don't like it they would have one way or the other escaped. But rather they were there for years and saying they tricked them. If they were chained or not allowed to see outside like in a prison I understand but ashawo do have one way or the other to move outside or to go and buy things why didn't they escape or after escaping go to the police to report or rather seek help from people on the road to give them tfare home to where they came from...? I believe in life we have choices and it's only when we get caught doing something bad is when we push blames. Mind you I am not saying blaming is right but ... Blame or no blame the truth still remain the truth

I will not drag with you because you are entitled to your opinion but you are talking like you are not living in Nigeria and if you are not, I will like you to live in Nigeria for like 1 month especially in the ghetto side now you will understand better.
Let me give you an example of a true live event... It happens at oshodi, magoluku to be precise.
A young girl lives with her father and the mother is dead... She had 3 junior siblings but what happens is the father is always busy to fend for them all trying to send them to school and all by riding a bike and he is trying so whenever he is not around he puts the eldest in charge because she is 16 years and can at least guild the younger ones when he is not around.
He always buys what he knew he could afford. Like got the girl an android phone cos he knew others are using phone so she wouldn't look outside.
To cut the story short... The father caught her little daughter entering this certain hotel at akiniku street. He followed and demanded to see the child but hotel rules kept him outside, so he waited till they were done and later the child was about to go home and he started fighting the guy who brought her but the guy ran away and later prounce on the girl on the street. People were angry that why should he beat a girl and they intervened... they asked questions holding the man so he won't run away. He explained about how he tried to fend for the children and how he always satsfy his girl and the younger one so such won't happen but it's like he wasted his effort. When they ask the girl why she decided to come to the hotel... She started with she wanted to use an iphone and her mates are using iphone and her father got her an android she said lot of bullshitt too... Now tell me is that poverty too or not being contented?
We weren't rich but we know what contented with whatever you have means.
The problem with this country is we don't want to accept the blame but always shift the goal post to suit our need even if it's bad

Davido you don’t have to bless him when he didn’t vote for your uncle

When has been neutral become reason to bless someone, we are one of the reasons these crooks treats the masses anyhow
Why is that after pdp era as president the second is apc which is of recent and during pdp time they uses soldiers to suppress their opponent which jonathan even did during his time... I was even surprise there is no military to suppress during this election unlike I have been seeing before so it's a kudos to him and who knows maybe he might do that later in presidency election...
All politicians are the same with little exception...

Online pictures kill you there
Love your story but when you compare Port Harcourt gra to lekki is a joke... Beside the food aspect is also a joke of drone dipping hands to pick meat... I was born and brought up in lagos but do work in ph at least I spend a week every month before heading back to lagos... Mind you I stay at ada george close to chinda bustop. If you talk about spaghetti I can say yes they use fork and hands except you went to a dirty person's place... Why the hell will someone use hands to pick meat? Never seen that in Lagos since I was born.
First lagos has population... You can't compare a man with 2 kids with a man with 12 kids. That's the gap, I don't know where you went in lekki but saying port gra is better than lekki is a big lie... When you visit lagos... Go to chevron estate or other estates not lekki where poor people stays ... Port gra is beautiful but it can be compared with ikeja that has no population. Honestly you went to the wrong side of lekki lol
And again you spend too much for police... I guess it's inexperience but it's all good...
Next time buy like 7 packs of table water... Some might collect and see might not collect but those once that didn't collect give them 100 naira...
I don't like toyotas but I love your car and I like the way you call it eagle... It's nice knowing you got home late... I was following your story and love it but why you spend so much in Lag and on the road is cos you weren't born there which is understandable...
Love your ride had it been you are not a complete stranger I would have meet you up next week in PH for celebration.

Just do regular maintenance on the car... Always check the gear oil and engine oil. Change engine one once it's getting dark and check your break oil at least once or twice a week. And one thing... Corolllas always have shock absorber issue so be careful cos there are lot of fake or refilled corolla shock and their parts are expensive compare to honda.
Good luck

Poverty is just an excuse
That's the problem with most nigerians... No body want to take the blame for what they did but instantly blame something or someone else and this tells how bad we are as human...
I am not rich too... Sometimes things are good and setimes things are not even bad but worse but will that say I should pick up gun or knife and start robbing people and blaming poverty...?
I have seen girls do menial jobs and so on... Why didn't they go into prostitution cos they are poor...
It is only in Nigeria we do things like this and start to push blames... Only a foolish person will do wrong and blame other or the system...
You can't rape and blame your penis
You can't steal and blame poverty
You can't lie and blame your mouth
You can't joint cult and blame others for oppressing you.
And so on... Rather blame yourself for your wrongs and shallow thoughts cos self acceptance of wrong you've done shows you are ready to change... That's the first rule of change
This country won't change with the way people think honestly...

Note this, transgender is different from crossdresser.
Trans were born with the opposite sex organs. In other word, they're natural and most of them are forced to love themselves as they're all rejected in their surroundings.
Nope that's not true... Those that were born with different organs do undergo lot of test to see the dominating gene before fully converting them in which they are called hermaphrodite...
Transgender on the other hand are people like gays and lesbians who felt they don't like being the their normal genes and sexuality then go ahead to convert there genes into the opposite sex they are comfortable with... They undergo sugeries and and the females converting to man takes a lot of steroids injections and other thing to boost their testoteron so they can be more aggressive and have facial hair and other stuff like a man... Some even go as far as changing or converting their their sexual organs surgically
They are two deferent things

How was Tinubu the best governor of his era?

What restructuring did Tinubu restructure before fashola came into the picture?

By the way, how do you define one country “better” than another? Do you measure it by the prices of goods and services, or by what exactly?

You were in Ghana? Did you see people being kidnapped on the streets? You didn’t see electricity was stable and regular? Just these two things alone make Ghana a better country. You want Ghana, Cameroon etc government to give you, a foreigner, a job in their country? cool Are you serious?
Do I look like someone who is waiting for a governor or president to give me job? I am not waiting for entitlement... I am there to work on my own seek for opportunities...
Light or no light just face the fact and stop being ignorant...
I am not fighting for one party nor a government or president... I am fighting for my own self...
Face it or leave in denial...
Nigeria is better all you have to do is get what will sustain you... Complain only comes when things didn't work our way in this country and once it works the way we want we keep shut unless you are playing along... I was born and brought up in Nigeria and there is something we know as generator even if there is no light... No work no work but people still got a job no matter who is ruling... No money no money yet people prosper noatter who is ruling...
I don't care about what rules Nigeria or a party nor a person cos no matter what they are who they are politicians but I tell you the fact as it is... My experience is not even as worse as some other cos I went to other african countries people were saying it's better than Nigeria and I realized all is a lie...
Once you lift your leg off Nigeria boder the suffering starts... I lived in places I can't even stay in Nigeria I even realized one bag of water in ghana is equivalent to almost 500 naira nigeria money...
One coke in benin republic is equivalent to almost 500 naira Nigeria money... No jobs even menial jobs you won't see unless a very bad one...
I suffered lol
Thank God I am back and trying to start over but I lost a lot and I knew all what people say about nigeria being a worst country is a lie...
If you are eating comfy even no electricity buy gen you will live nice than most people moving abroad all it takes is a job that pays all... In Nigeria I will say we pay lesser or no tax at all... That's another pros again that covers most cons

It’s harder to make it over there than in Nigeria, except you’re extremely lucky..

Bills too much. My brother stays in Texas. He lived inside trailer for more 10 years before being able to secure an affordable home

Life became more easy when he met his baby mama, a Latina from Brazil. Both working and helping each other which makes it more easy..

Now, if I wanna travel there, it won’t be very hard for me to navigate, unlike somebody that has nobody living there..

Some other things I can’t talk about. Reality is it’s not easy anywhere around the world except you’re extremely lucky..
Thanks for this...
I remember I use to listen to people saying ghana is better than Nigeria or benin republic or other african country...
I decided to first go to ghana left my job to start a life there since it's better only for me to meet reality... I came down to benin republic no jobs nothing even people there are looking at me as a big man there whereas I am suppose to look up to them for jobs and other things... They were even asking me if they can follow me to Nigeria to start a life... I was shocked...
I left and went to cameroon and same thing... Later I can back to nigeria with almost nothing...
I started over again and haven gotten my foot like before I left...
I faced hell in other countries...
Eversince then I don't listen to people saying I want to travel out or nigeria Is worse than other country...
When I came back finally I had to lie that I went outside Nigeria to work and I was scammed.
I learned my lesson...
So same happens to people all over the country... Many will regret few will be lucky to make it and few means very few...
Since then if anyone is talking about travelling out to make it...
All I tell them is go and see for yourself cos people don't like truth... It will only take you grace and huge luck to make it except you are into dirty business...
Let the man be and have a taste of it who knows he might be among the few and there is higher possiblity that he will lament...
People outside the country lies about the flamboyant lifestyle and movies is all bull sh*t... Most things are lies and most stories about Nigerians saying they make billions after travelling out are either into dirty business or just lying cos or disgrace they might face...

Let me start from this... If you can tell me any country the the world that didn't loan a single penny to build infrastructures then I will know you are saying the truth considering peter obi and even take you as a smart person.
Let me brust your bubble... The bigger the state or country the bigger their loans... Check it out and research on it yourself...
Insecurity is based on the people of the country which are the citizen... We are very religious in this country and yet we are the worst people in the world...
Even if we are to tag the politician as people causing the insecurity... The. Let's think about who is doing it for them? Are those not the same nigerian citizen doing the bidding for them and yet everyone will say government or politicians is at fault whereas they don't know the meaning of government...
Government is the people and a fair politician can do little to nothing if the citizen are not ready to change.
NB I used the word fair politician because I don't trust any politician

Realist12:
The siting of the port, Lekki FTZ and Eko Atlantic is brilliant. Seems Apapa will only be handling importation while this port will deal with exportation. Dangote refinery will be able to export refined petroleum easily so also other companies sited there .
For Dangote to key into this tells you how much he believes the State government yet the social media youths without foresight keeps denigrating the achievements of Lagos shows the youths are not been realistic . If we are being honest with ourselves in Nigeria let's support Tinubu vote Tinubu for president. The Tinubu factor and legacies in Lagos alone is behind the progress of the state , if he can do this at the states level why not at the federal level. Investors believe in him more than any other candidates that will rather save or maintain status quo. I think it's time the youths rethink and choose proven and real developments rather than subjecting to social media trend.
With the way most Nigeria down talk the country shows Nigerians don't want this country to grow... And I notice something when Nigerians sees you that you are elevating to become big or successful they will start to hate you and throw all kind of shades at you... Some miscreant even said benin republic and ghana is better than Nigeria... I guess they haven't been there before or they just want to still downgrade the country even when they saw the truth... I have been to cameroon, ghana and benin republic and I can say it bodly they are not even close to Nigeria funny enough they look up to us in things we do but Nigerians don't appreciate what they got...
Politicians have their faults too infact a lot but most of the fault why this country is so bad is because of the citizens...
Who is the government? Are they not the people and the politician in their respective post are the extension of what a typical Nigerian is by default.
But people will still argue this...
They even said other ports are not working that they only focus on Lagos which is not true... Being to the delta port before and onne and I can tell you they are all fuctioning fine so I wonder where people get their stats from...

Even if country hard this boy is too young for this..

He needs serious rehabilitation
You are on point!
Honestly I hate it when people think stupid in this country...
Imagine them saying it's poverty that make him steal... I have heard so many people either on this forum or in the hood defend thief... It's like they are okay with it...
I am not from a rich family but yet I work hard despite all down sides of life and I never stole nor steal anything... People lack common sense in this country...

Thank you... I guess it is only few people who embraced the truth and many other will argue... Nigerians always remind me of the movie Idiocracy

Sometimes I feel for Peter Obi. He is carrying a burden bigger than him. a burden for huge junk of common men who has given up on the country leadership. He may not have know it will be this big. But I sincerely pray for him for the strength to carry on. Maybe with him we may just get it right if not for anything he will know Nigerians made him president not any party or godfather.
To be very candid... And I keep telling people... No matter who becomes the president even if it's jesus or mohammed...
Nigeria will never change because the citizens are not ready to change.
Trust me let's even start from the simplest thing first... Let's stop throwing rubbish on the floor... When I start seeing neat streets then I believe we are getting it right.... The. The rest will be spent by step...
You can change what is not ready to change...
Nigerias are like teenagers ... parents can only do their best but the child will become whoever or whatever he or she wants to be no matter what the parent says or do to change the child's mind.
A good example is the pattern of how a typical nigerian mind works...
A common man from no where joins politics... Before he joins he will tell you how corrupt the goverent are and the moment he got to office he joined and became one of them too forgetting what he once condemn... The problem started from the root...
Who are working in all government buildings, who are the once in change of electricity, food, import and export and so on... Are they not nigerians living in Nigeria? People don't even know what government means... They thought it's an individual but government is everyone living in a country and all contribution makes the country what it is...
Bring americans to Nigeria and take nigerians to american...
American will later look like current Nigeria and current Nigeria will be better than old america. Simple
It's until people change then the country called Nigeria will change and there is no helper anywhere but us... We will do our parts in solidarity and then we all pressure the elected office holder to do theirs with one mount with no normal Nigeria backbite

Quest7777:
You increase salaries,
Prices will increase,
Salaries will not be enough
Agitations for salary increase again....

... and the vicious cycle continues.

Only Solution: the country must turn from Largely-Consuming to Largely-Producing economy.
It can't work because people... Iean Nigerians will fight against it... Look at what happens when they close the border people kept complaining like it's benin republic or cameroon that is feeding Nigeria... Look at all tractors provided for the farmers in Nigeria... Same nigerians who are in charge sold it off... Some Nigerians even said imported chicken and turkey is better and sweeter than the Nigerian ones... Imagine... Nothing will work in this country unless people change .... We only lie we want the best in this country but the truth is we don't want best for ourselves we only want what will benefit us even if that thing is totally wrong... Now tell me how will a system that doesn't want to grow develope? Nigerians don't want development, they only want what will benefit them... They don't want to struggle to get things they want it easy... They focus more on tribal, religion and all sort of irrelevant issue rather than focus on one another to better the country.
When Nigerians are doing something fraudulent they call it runs
or God favours but always accuse politicians for being a thief...
I challenged someone doing so called runs selling company diesel and he said that popular saying in Nigeria... " It is where we work we chop" imagine people shouting we want this country to grow..I just shut up and mind my business... You can't change a system that doesn't want to change...
Bitter truth we are our own enemy and backwardness...
I remember when fashola wanted to build that terminal at oshodi in lagos... People were even stoning the contractors that want to work... They said where will those mama selling things on the railway go some even said is it beautification that we want to eat or will the beauty of an environment feed us... Now that the terminal is there... We are all enjoying it and did those women die? Just like I said we are our own problem

I respect Peter Obi because he knows how to read the room, eventually he will come back to reality and withdraw from the presidential race..

The same way he read the situation during PDP primaries, he will realistically analyze the outcome of this election, especially if the third force merger fails, and he will withdraw from the race.

2023 is strictly between two failures, Nigeria will never get better.
Oga speak for yourself Nigeria will never be better no lies but that should be on your side... During obj people are making it, during jonathan people are making it, during buhari nigerians are making it... Only people that didn't benefit or make it start complaining... Those people making it are not from heaven they are people like me and you... Oga work on yourself and stop this nonesence talk... If peter obi didn't win life continues and anyone who wins no matter what people win still make it despite their lies about hard country...
Country hard country hard they build houses, but new cars, spend in bars like they are made of money and yet come out to shout country no good... Nigeria and their nonesence mentality...
If things didn't work for you at some era work on it and if it works for you shut up not trying to play a down game
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Borris Johnson: Kanu Felt Very Safe Condemning Nigeria From Britain by Tycyborg(m): 4:32pm On Jun 24, 2022
LeoDeKing:
If the animal was just condemning Nigeria, that wouldn't have even been an issue because he is entitled to whatever opinion he has against Nigeria.

But the issue is that, he was enjoying safety in London and directing his animals to be unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens .

He was directing his illiterate touts to be destroying all Tinubu's properties in Lagos during endsars protest. Infact even the properties he suspected to belong to Tinubu, he directed his beast followers to burn them down.

Everything is on record.

Lamidi kwanu will rot in dss cell.
They will attack you if you speak the truth and defend kanu no matter what he did to them...
If I were you I won't even bother same way I don't bother about boko haram killing in north... They were cheering them and now in trouble and calling for help same is going on in the east and I won't even blink an eye to their matter... Let them face the lions they brought home...
Nigerians don't like truth...
Even some might say the FG should go and face borno like they are doing competition about who is the most dreadful terrorist in Nigeria...
Most nigerians are sick in the head and few knows what they speak...
You are on point but hatred will never let them see the truth in what you said cos they will say you are a tribalist...
I ask someone a question... I said what tribe is the most hated tribe in Nigeria... He replied that it's igbo and I asked why... He said because they are good in business and they jealous them...
Then I replied... If you are in a community and the whole community hates you... Will you need to check yourself or you claim everyone hates you for nothing... He tried to defend with weak points but I knew the realization hit him...
You can't hate everyone and expect those people to like you... They really need to work on themselves and building relationship with others but it's impossible for them and they are fast to cry about marginalized stuff...
Truth is bitter
