Maybe we should try and see how it is done elsewhere. The government can build a kind of resettlement home and provide irrigation if that's possible. But even at that we are going to need international help here.We are talking of tons of medicine and food and clothing for these poor folks.And trust me,the Kenyan government is too corrupt to run it alone.In Nigeria, such things are not left solely in the hands of the government.

But those areas have not been neglected as your say

But they have received alot of investment from both the county and national governments
The problem is those areas are huge and sparsely populated and they can hardly support any kind of food crop
People who live their are pastoralists
So when drought hits they can hardly survive
But long term solutions are needed they

Well said. The problem of your government is not only corruption but insensitivity. Nigeria's government is also very corrupt but they have not abandoned our northern problem. Our northerners are the kind of people who refused to embrace western ways of education and health. They pull down Nigeria's indices seriously. But still, we help them.During droughts and terrorism crisis, we provide for them.There is suffering in Nigeria but not like what we have seen here.It's no longer a Kenyan problem, it's a humanity problem and the world has to come together to help like they did for Ethiopia in the 80s with the live aid thing.Those people need food,medicine and clothes and your government alone can not do it.Help is on the way.I am sure. But long term solutions have to be planned.

Nigeria must deport and reject every foreigner suspected to be criminal, ecowas does not say criminals of one country should be accepted by the others. what ecowas emphasised is diplomatic tie . meaning any ecowas member can freely stay in each state for 90 days free without requesting for residential permit paper.


criminal should be deported but legitimate working foreigners even with flawed paper should be spared . they are many Britons violating a whole lot of paper work in Germany

So basically Nigeria is deporting Ghanaians for the sake of deportation not on ECOWAS set rules
