davo3286: Your head dey there my brother. If I may add, the woman should understand the type of man she married. Some men are violent in nature while some learnt and grew with it. Marry a violent man and risk being used as a punching bag. I blame women who get beaten up by their men. If your man will beat you, you will know from day one. It's not wise to beat your woman but some women are just so so provokingly annoying that they always wanna test your anger and a man who cannot control or bear it no longer would have to option but to 'touch her hand small'.My brother you have unveiled my mind completely. There is nothing more I wish to add to this. I salute you bro. |
dablazor: uhm what exactly is ur point? provoking their husband's into anger justifies going all tyson on their woman?Lol. No. A woman should be loved and not beaten. But there are different kinds of men. There are aggressive as well as laid-back dudes. Most of the cocky guys whom ladies are often attracted to are actually potentially aggressive. If pushed to their limits, they would lash out. Does that make them any less manly? Not in the least. |
kITATITA: Nonsense. If women will beat their husbands any time the men provoke them, there will be few men left on earth. There are no two ways about it, beating women is not a demonstration of strength, it demonstrates weakness.Honestly, I think you should be open-minded next time. Always have a rounded perception before typing your prejudice. I have provided the balance that the opening post lacked. You should recognize that. |
MrsBreezy: Tymax, May I ask what's going on? No, you may not. You know already na |
Age is a BIG issue. It is a number, agreed. But it is the same number that will rear it's ugly head when disagreement springs up. In Naija, a husband must provide most of the leadership in the home. Also, we ascribe respect or at least some measure of deference to our elders. In this light, you will agree that there is a conflict. Should the man defer to his wife because he is younger or should she submit in all things and respect him even though she is older? I suspect that even if she decides to marry the young man, she might seek to hide the age factor from her folks. I also believe that the husband certainly would not want to suffer innuendoes (stemming from the age difference) from his wife's friends. An egoistic African man or woman should avoid such unions. ![]() |
McLove, I celebrate with you. May you find someone who truly adores you and seeks your happiness. Don't go back no matter what. Maturity doesn't appear in a woman overnight. You deserve someone who will contribute meaningfully to your life; someone who complements you emotionally and mentally.Congratulations. |
Hmmm, OP, it's like Iceberlyn is showing you how it's done. Ride on bro. |
Hmmm. Easy to collect money from him but hard to marry him. That's "woman" for you. |
marieolae: so u think money can buy my loveMoney can smoothen the pathway to your heart. You can't deny that. |
Real women don't provoke their husbands to anger. A sensible woman doesn't seek to be the object of her husband's rage. A cantankerous woman should have the presence of mind not to marry a quick-tempered man. |
This is the best time bro. Explore. It'll cost you some cool cash sha but you should go out on group dates. Hang out with old friends, etc. No one sits in his house and meets a chic (except na online tins). |
