News have been awash that a prominent politician and former Director-General of Delta State Direct Labour Agency, Chief Lucky Ayomanor, died while in the custody of the police in Sapele in the past few days.

According to multiple online reports, Chief Ayomanor reportedly slumped and died after he was allegedly beaten and maltreated over an allegation of being in possession of a loaded firearm on Wednesday.

Police officials have denied the reports, saying the politician died in the hospital.
In any case, below are the graphic photos of the dead politician.

The Ogun State Police Command have arrested 4 suspects who are the masterminds of the kidnapping of a 75-year- old woman, Wuraola Shittu at Ibiade farm settlement in Ijebu Waterside area of Ogun State. .

The woman was kidnapped sometime in March, at about 7:45pm and later released after her family paid a ransom, while the Police continued to trail the hoodlums until their arrest on Tuesday, on their way for a similar mission at Epe in Lagos State. .

The suspects were said to have been all from Ijaw extraction in Ese Odo LGA of Ondo State. Those arrested were Towei Eduh (31), Bikaramobowi( 17), Saturday Oti (31), and Paymaster Efigga ( 30). Items recovered from them are assorted charms, masks and other dangerous weapons.

James Iorfa is just a motorcyclist popularly called an Okada man, who went out in pursuit of his daily bread, when he fell victim of the hoodlums.
The bills is yet to be footed, that has becomes his worry, when I visited him this evening.
While he is yet to stabilize, I'm calling on well meaning Nigerians to help this young man.

It is no longer news for Benue state university students who resides at either Dunamis street or gyado Villa axis of the numerous shooting and harassment by hoodlums operating around these areas..

At about 9-10pm today 22-4-2017,when I was returning from a sit out with my Boss to discuss some issues that matters, I was driven by one of my Bosses along Dunamis street to drop off someone, little did we know an operation had gone down that lane, leaving a motorcyclist with two bullets to his thighs and spinal by the so-called hoodlums.

It was quite a bad day like one would say for them, some brave young men before our arrival at the scene had apprehended them.

Jungle justice was about to go down, when I quickly alerted the Nigerian Police Force Makurdi command through my very own coursemate Officer Ikko Yalimso,it was quite an impressive move by the Armed Forces who responded apt to this call.

at this point I call on the state government in collaboration with the Benue state university management to situate a police outpost at this area to curtail this menace..

As at the time of filling this report, I am still at the Benue state teaching hospital with Aondofa Iorfa the victim in the ICU... While the hoodlums were been taking to the Police Headquarters.

A driver was killed yesterday and 10 others were injured in two accidents on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.

Another driver is said to be in coma following the crashes which occurred between 4am and 5am at Ibalex Bus Stop, Ilasamaja.

In the first accident, four persons were injured when a gravel-laden truck hit a trailer carrying oil from the rear.

According to the Nation, the trailer was marked KY153YTK; there were no numbers on the truck.The truck driver and motor-boys were said to have been trapped inside the vehicle for over 30 minutes before they were rescued.

Eyewitnesses said policemen mobilised rescuers to get the injured to hospital.

“The policemen were at the forefront in the rescue efforts. They later evacuated the trapped truck driver and motorboy before the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) rushed them to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja,” an eyewitness said.
Another eyewitness said the truck driver was in coma at the time he was rushed to the hospital.

He said the second accident, which happened at the same spot, was like a scene from a movie.

“A Volkswagen commercial bus stopped to carry passengers and a truck was coming on speed. Everybody including the policemen were signalling to the truck driver from afar to reduce the speed until he rammed into the bus. It was as if the driver was drunk. Despite several C-Caution signs displayed on the road, it hit the bus, killing the bus driver on the spot and injuring many others. In all, no fewer than 10 persons were injured. We called LASAMBUS officials to assist in taking the injured to the hospital,” the eyewitness said.

The Nation learnt that some Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and Fire Service officials later visited the scene.

The damaged trailer and the trucks were still at the scene at press time. The bus has been towed to a nearby police station

A 30-year-old lady, Kelebogile Koenaesele was attacked as she left the church yard in Botshabelo area in South Africa over allegation of sleeping with her church leader. She was allegedly attacked by the church leader’s son who accused her of sleeping with his father.

Kelebogile was apparently hit with a stone and she's now recovering in the hospital.

She said on Friday she got an SMS from an unknown number. “It said they wondered why Kelebogile prayed, but being the bitch she is, she will pay for her evil deeds.

“The son of a church leader accused me of dating his father. On Sunday when we left church, a stone hit my back and I fell down. He threw stones at my face. I don’t know why he accused me as I am a married woman and the man is also married.

“Now I see why they chose to speak about adultery. Even the church founder spoke about women dating married men. I’ll open a case as soon as I am discharged.”

In his reaction, the church leader said: “When my son beat Kelebogile, I was not at church. I am not dating her. I help her and her family.”


The senior pastor and founder, Archbishop Malefatsane Ramahodi said:
“I heard about the members who fought. I spoke to the leader about the matter and when Kelebogile comes out of hospital, we will resolve it.”

God,I can't just believe this in my life,i was driving to the office this morning and I've a reasons to make a call and before I know,I was out of call card ,as I alighted from my car to get a recharge card ,I sighted this small girl(Esther by name) be beaten mercilessly with his heartless and reasonless father.

Please where are the human right, who can be of assistance to help this girl out of her heartless father? I was so fortunate to interrogate her mother who told me that the girl went to the next neighbour room just to watch TV.

I took the girl to the nearby police station on our way getting there ,the girl and her mother was redirected to the nearby police station which is very closer to their house.

I called her father and I questioned him the reasons why he beats the girl mercilessly like that and his respond was very dishearten even he promises and threaten to beat his wife on her way back from work....Good people of Nigeria,kindly give helping hands as regard to this case, before it's getting out of hands .

As at the time of filing this report no life has been recorded lost, but the victims who have been rushed to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DSUTH) is said to be in in a very terrible state
.
It is clear that this government is in need of something else from us and he will sure get it.
.
We cannot be traveling in absolute fear because of a government who fail to meet up her responsibility
.

The reports state that the man was fond of breaking and entering into the stores when owners are not around.

Luck however ran out on him today when he was caught breaking into yet another store, one belonging to a woman.

When he was questioned, he said lived on Akintola Road by Crudas Road in Sapele.

I watched with tears as a 19 year old boy was lowered to the grave with his mom whom went unconscious and his dad weeping like a ten year old baby.

]Today Mark a black history for Lagudu family of konshisha as little Mr Denen Lagudu whom was murdered during the massacre of innocent souls by unknown gunmen on 20 March 2017 at Zaki biam yam market on his way back from school was laid to rest at Tse_Lagudu mbagbe, Shangev Tiev ,Konshisha local government area of Benue state.


Demi as he is fondly called by friends and family member, was on his way from school happily after he wrote his last paper only to meet his untimely death by unknown gunmen whom killed over 25 persons, destroyed properties and left hundreds wounded.


Immediately Gov Ortom visited Zaki biam to get first hand information with other stakeholders like Hon Paul Biam, BT ashaver, Prof Kpelai , Abu king Shuluwa and many others except our Honourable representative from sankera Hon Emmanuel Udende whom was absent and has refused to visit the affected people to console with them till date.


Gov Ortom whom express shocked at the destruction of properties and death toll ordered the immediate pass chairman of ukum honourable Moses Asawa to transfer all wounded victims to teaching hospital makurdi for proper treatment and gave Asawa a sum of five million naira to ensure proper burial for those murdered by the unknown gunmen. Unfortunately Mr Moses Asawa ran away with the said sum and nothing has been done about it till date.

The family of late Denen spent almost two hundred and fifty thousand to remove the corpse from the mortuary and transportation to shangev Tiev despite Ortom release of the five million for that purpose, nothing has been received by the deceased families and no injured person has been move to teaching hospital as directed by Ortom.

Now dishonorable Moses Asawa the former chairman of ukum is on the run as even handover, the man has not handed over to DGSA as directed by Ortom due to financial recklessness and embezzlement of local government fund's.

The blood of Denen would certainly catch up with his killer's and those that ate the money met for his final departure.

A Nigerian couple, Arinola 33, and Olalekan Olawusi have been arrested in Providence, Rhode Island, US on Monday, April 3 and arraigned in court on a felony charges of child neglect, first and degree child abuse.

According to news reports, early Mondayafternoon, the frantic father called 911 and said his child was dying.

Three-month-old Tobiloba Olawusi wasn’t breathing and didn’t have a pulse, police say, but Providence firefighters resuscitated the baby in their rush to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

The baby was found to have old and new injuries — bite marks and a fractured skull, broken ribs, arms and legs, said Special Assistant Attorney General Shannon Signore, chief of the office’s child abuse unit.

The baby’s mother, Arinola told the police that her husband, bit the baby and pulled his legs to "make him grow and strong."
The baby’s prognosis was still uncertain on Tuesday, Signore said.

The Olawusis were arraigned Tuesday afternoon, April 4th, exactly 24 hours after police were called by the hospital to investigate.

Arinola Olawusi was arraigned in Family Court on a felony charge of child neglect, while Olalekan Olawusi was arraigned in District Court on charges of first- and second-degree child abuse.

A judge set bail at $40,000 with surety for Olalekan and ordered him to surrender his Nigerian passport.

The family has been living at 49 Constitution St., in the city’s West End.

Both parents are ordered not to have any contact with the baby.

The state Department of Children, Youth and Families has been involved with the baby since birth, said spokesman Denis Riel. An older sibling is already in foster placement with a relative, he said.

Justice A. B. Mohammed of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Jabi, Abuja today revoked the bail granted to one Bala Tangalu, who is facing trial on a 2-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence money to the tune of N2.5million by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

This is contained in a press release contained on the website of the anti-corruption agency.


Tangalu, a self-styled native doctor also known as Babalawo, was arraigned on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 following an investigation into a petition by one Dozie Ugonna, who alleged that he was scammed of over N2.5million by the accused and his cohorts.


According to the petitioner, the money was meant for the purchase of materials to neutralize some harmful charms purportedly contained in a carton filled with United States dollars.

The offence is contrary to Section 8 (a) and punishable under Section 8 (C) and 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14, 2006.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail by the court in the sum of N2million with two sureties in like sum. But, he has refused to show up in court for his trial.


Following his refusal to attend court for trial, counsel to EFCC, Elizabeth Alabi, at the sitting today made two applications. The first application is urging the court to revoke the bail of the defendant and order his arrest, while the second application is for trial to continue in absential pursuant to Section 352 (4) of the ACJA.


Justice Mohammed granted the application on the issuance of bench warrant and dismissed that of trial in absential on the grounds that “it is the first adjournment”.
Thereafter, the case was adjourned to May 3, 2017 for trial.

Five children have reportedly been killed in an inferno which occurred in Mpape community, in the Bwari area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Towncrieronline.Net has learned.

According to newsreports, there were sparks on the electric cables in the area after power was restored by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).

The sparks were said to have triggered a fire, which ravaged the victims’ parents apartment, burning the children to death.

The district head of the community, Alhaji Abubakar Gimba, told reporters, “We rushed to see how we could put out the fire, but before we could do that, the five children were already dead.
