ufumes: If the invisibles does not target the largest demander of dollars, then the fall in dollar price is going to be short lived. Not exactly. The idea is that when demand pressure linked to invisibles is reduced on the black market, more money will be available to other players, including industries. This will also be at cheaper rate. It's simple demand and supply interplay. |

Now, tell me how the government or CBN is responsible for the persistent high costs of those items you listed? These things are sold by average Nigerians. I hope you aren't expecting the government to force these people to bring down prices if they won't do so on their own. Let's be objective, please. |

Webmasters › Re: Help: Difficulties With Withdrawing With Payoneer Card In Nigeria by U1(m): 5:58pm On Mar 20, 2017 |
writers100: Hello friends,
I'm having serious difficulties withdrawing funds with my Payoneer card.
I went to Zenith Bank's ATM to make withdrawal. The card was recently shipped to me and this is my first time of using it within the country.
But I've not been able to make any withdrawals till date. Rather, my fund keeps getting deducted with charges/fees and the money is almost finished without withdrawing a dime.
I had a total of about N15k on the card. When I tried to withdraw from ATM, the screen will display INSUFFICIENT FUNDS and then about N500 is automatically deducted from my fund without my knowledge. I kept using one ATM machine after another without being able to withdraw any dime...while other customers using local cards withdrew funds without any problems.
After a number of attempts, I saw that my total fund had reduced to half of about N7k. I later checked my balance and also found that charges/fees are deducted each time I checked my balance with the Payoneer card at Zenith Bank ATM machine.
As at now, I have only N2,650 left out of the total N15k I had on the Payoneer card. I was not able to withdraw my funds with it. Rather each attempt to withdraw and check my balance saw a deduction of about N500 each.
Please help. How do you guys access your fund or withdraw cash with your Payoneer card in Nigeria? What a loss! But you could have reached out to Payoneer after the first set of deductions for explanation. This is why it is important to learn about all charges before continuing with any financial transaction. Know that you are charged $1 each time you check your balance on an ATM. The recommendation is to always check your balance online to avoid being charged. Also, I think $1 is also deducted from your account for each failed transaction. You can check the business section of this forum for people you can sell your funds to next time, if you have received at least $200 via your Payoneer account. |

Bookiemart01: Spot on. Some people be begging for review knowing they have a motive to scam.
It's high time people started guarding their money. Always have a plan to get your money back from any scammer (good businessman gone bad or confirmed scammer).
Nairalanders should also know some people have been tested and trusted over the years.
Trade wisely.
Note that it's your sole responsibility to nab your scammer. What we do mostly on Nairaland is to read your touching stories, laugh at you or empathise or give you some clue to get your scammer.
The best way to get your money is tight be EXTREMELY CAREFUL before you send your money (btc, PayPal, Payoneer, skrill, dollar, or naira) to anyone. Open your eyes. It's funny to hear people still get scammed on this forum. I'm surprised by this, given how people seem to be extra-cautious these days, from experience. I have sold Payoneer and/or Skrill to several notable members here in the past, but it's not my practice to refer people to such. You either trust me or we meet for the deal, if I am less busy. It's suspicious to be asking people to leave feedback for you here - maybe except currency exchange is how you earn your living. People should learn to do their due diligence before parting with their money. Ensure you have sufficient information to track the other party if something goes wrong. As Bookiemart01 put it, we may only empathise with you, at best, if anything goes wrong. So be careful! |

To fully get started, One should do more research even outside this thread or visit www.Julanky.com for Direct Mentorship, Guidelines and Assistance. Extending or terminating the offer is totally left for me. In as much as am eager to help several Nigerians to make money online, I highly need serious minded people and that's the sole reason why I put a price tag @ julanky.com and the results has been wonderful so far. some of the people I have taught have even sold domains much higher than how much I have sold so far. talking from experience, getting the information, tools and strategies for absolutely free of charge may make one not to be fully commited. It's all about making Genuine money online so seriousness and willingness to learn is the number one recommendation. Bro, I hope I can still grab the promised bonuses? I have never been the type that loves paying for e-books, but 2k no go kill pesin. easysunny: Pls I need clarification. Am a newbie Is it genuine and possible to accept payment outside upwork after interview? I submitted proposal and this guy invited me for interview through Skype. As we reach agreement on the job, he told me that they pay weekly and it's through either skrill, PayPal , payoneer or direct transfer. That I should specify which one. But I insisted that the payment should be through upwork and should go ahead to hire me from there. I sense foul play.
Am I right? Bro, it's against Upwork terms to accept payment from clients connected on the platform outside it. You risk having your account closed if the company discovers that. I'd have taken the risk as a newbie if payment terms were great, such as earning than I'd have got from Upwork. But the idea of weekly payment is a no-no for me. You risk doing an unpaid job. |

U1: Just getting ready to fire a message to the bank on frequent, unexplained N50 stamp duty charges when I saw this by coincidence. These charges didn't tally with with third-party transactions at all. Besides, someone told me that the charge on deposits of N1,000 and above has been stopped, so I don't understand all this at all. The G bank which I use more for receipts hasn't been charging for stamp duty, based on observation. Majority of these Naija banks are pain in the a**, I must say. Just an update on the quoted post. Stamp duty charges from January to November have supposedly been refunded. I still wonder why that was limited to the stipulated period, though. |
