I know you can subscribed from different banks if you want, just the way you are permitted to own accounts with same name in different banks.

I am not sure of GTbank and Access, because I have not used them - Accepting 100k. But certainly would take less than 1m. Others will reply with more accurate information esp those who subscribe through those banks. I am 100% sure of FBN for 100k.

GTbank's rate is not bad, but from posts in this thread, I rank them 3rd, behind IBTC and FBN.

Access' rate is in same region with GTB.

Others with more experience with different banks could share more insight.

Don't misunderstand me on the rates. You don't need to open a new bank account with banks offering higher rates. The difference in rates is not that high. But if you have existing accounts with those banks, moving funds will not be a bad idea.

1m as minimum? Most banks with even better rates than UBA takes as low as 100k, like FBN.

To those who may not be aware, Namesilo has been offering .com registration for $5.99 for like three days now. But yet to take advantage of it myself.

Does the rate a person get on T-bills depend on the amount invested? Let's assume a hypothetical rate of 18%; will individuals investing, say, N100,000 and N1m get that same rate?

I was at a UBA branch today to make T-bills enquiry and the man I spoke to there requested amount I wanted to invest in order to check for applicable rate. I ended up walking out when I learnt minimum investment was N1m. But I got curious as to whether amount determines rate.

One thing I noticed is the fact that most people here are spending more on Hand-regs, you can register a .COM domain for as cheap as $3.99 on DirectNIC at www.directnic.com . DirectNIC is a very good registrar with easy transfer and push of your names, cheap renewals etc I wrote my personal review and encounter with them on NamePros, a search on NP will bring that out and you can easily pay with Paypal, your Credit/Debit Card, Bitcoin etc at least Bitcoin is easier to get for those having issues with their Card and PayPal. I currently have about 30 domains with them alone, .COMs and few .XYZs

Also, you can keep a list of Hand-regs you'll like to register and get cheap deals of $1.69 per .COM domain when the MyDomain/Dotster/Netfirms deal is out so you can reg ASAP since the deal only last few days and sometimes, few hours. Hope this helps..!

My main problem with DirectNIC is their verification requirements - I have known them since last year or early this year. I'm more comfortable sharing personal documents with financial institutions such as banks, not a registrar. Another concern is what if an end user (buyer) is required to do verification for a sale to be completed? Some buyers do not have time for such things.

I wasn't there when the argument was made but I believe it would have been a bad idea using the h2h format. Peeps will be reserving their chips and waiting for the playoffs. I think Nairaland can now remove Emmanuel Awatefe (Awaritefe) from the list of the scammers because I reliably gathered from his family sources that the young man passed away and was buried about three Thursdays ago as he slept and did not wake up after almost a year in coma. Nairalanders will always remember him for various scams and fraud notoriety.

It is also a great lesson for other would be scammers to desist as the sad end of the Deltan may not be unconnected with the repercussions of sorrow he cursed his victims, which resulted in curses from many threads on Nairaland.

Are you very sure of the bold part? Someone with that name and the said fraud's contact details still bought Skrill from me some months ago. Not sure it's close to a year.

What method did you use to do your withdrawal?
I have tried all methods except the wire transfer method. The thought of losing 30 USD plus a potential 20 USD incoming fees at my bank is not funny.

With the crash in dollar payoneer seems a very bad option right now as these ecurrency exchangers will give you a crazy price.

Well I decided to try using the withdraw to local bank as it looks like the best option on paper at 369NGN/$ with less than $1 withdrawal fees. I'll update when the payment hits my account so you can compare and contrast.

However higher dollar rate looks good but the multiplier effect isn't funny as well. For the sake of our families and friends, the dollar should stabilize.
