I think you can do better by being more specific about what you mean by 'unemployed.' Someone asked somewhere else on NL on whether a person that does article writing and affiliate marketing online is employed. No answer.

This extends to people who do things that are not stable. Jobs on which you may not have anything to do for weeks; hence, no income. Are these people employed by your definition?

Also, I hope all volunteers for N-Teach are posted to primary schools - none to secondary schools. If you do post to the latter, the services of some may not really be beneficial. This is if your main concern is just to provide volunteers with something to do, with less emphasis on ability. Just saying.

Things to do so as to be selected for the N-Power Online Job Recruitment for 2017
As the 2017 online registration is ongoing , it is best we all learn from the mistake of many candidates who applied last year and were not shortlisted and some who were shortlisted and are having issues like unmatched BVN, Unmatched names, blank payment history, Non-payment of monthly stipends, etc. this was as a result of their initial errors during their online registration and here am going to outline few things you should do so as to get shortlisted.
Some of the things can be outline below;
• LET YOUR FULL NAMES TALLY WITH YOUR BVN ACCOUNT NAMES
As you begin the online registration, please make sure to spell out your names clearly. The names you want to use should be the one that appears on your bank account details and make sure they tally with what is on your bank BVN. If you have three names, let the names correspond with that of the bank and vice versa. Don’t use two names in the N-Power Registration, while your bank account name is just two. What matters here are similarities.
• BANK ACCOUNT BALANCE
This will come as a surprise to many but the truth is that don’t use a salary account to submit your application. Infact if you are already employ, the BVN will indicate you are being paid monthly. So for you to be shortlisted, make sure you use a bank account link to a BVN that has low amount in it.

• BE A GRADUATE
You must be a graduate from a recognize institution in the country. The current N-Power application is for graduates only but the non-graduate scheme will start by July, 2017. So to be shortlisted, you will need to be a graduate.
• DON’T PAY ANYONE TO BE SHORTLISTED
As the recruitment exercise goes on, please don’t fall victim to pay anyone to be shortlisted. Infact, the scheme is a transparent one that will follow a policy of merit and diligent
• DON’T REGISTER TWICE
For you to get shortlisted it is best you don’t get involve in double registration. The moment you involve yourself in double registration, your application becomes invalid and you will not be shortlisted. You will be disqualified.
• CORRECT FORM OF COMMUNICATION -EMAILS, PHONE NUMBER
For you to be shortlisted, it is best you will to fill in your current means of communication that are functional and which can be use to reach you. You will be asked to fill in a correct form of contact or communication. This can either be your email address or phone number. Please make sure you filled in the correct email address and phone number. Fill in only one you know can be used to reach you at all times.

• YOUR N-POWER REFERENCE NUMBER
For you to be shortlisted, you will need to have an N-Power Reference Number so as to be shortlisted. This will be used in all future correspondence between you and N-Power. At the end of the registration, make sure you print out the last page that will be shown to you immediately you click submit. This will generate your N-Power Reference Number. Keep it in a safe place.
Lastly please ensure you carefully start your online registration and get an N-Power Reference number which you can print out for future purpose. Remember that the N-Power is also linked to the Federal Government’s policies in the economic, employment and social development arenas. N-Power will address the challenges of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skill acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
Some of you who will be shortlisted and employed in the N-Power Volunteer scheme will also help in actualizing Nigeria’s economic and strategic aspirations of achieving food security and self-sufficiency.

The rumour making waves that if you are shortlisted for n-power and eventually get a federal government job before your expiration of two years, you will be denied the federal government job because you BVN is already in use. How true is this?

So I read in a WhatsApp message. But do I really care about federal government job in this country? I'm not sure. Security of BVN is more important to me.

Did you get that rate at Stanbic? GTB and Access give about 13.5% for similar tenor, even one slightly longer.

I have done several Secondary market transactions without any issue. I will advise you to speak to only bankers that understand Treasury Bills. Incidentally many of them either dont know or dont want you to invest in Tbills.

When you invest in Treasury Bills, You have invested in the Sovereign debt of the nation. The bank only stand as agents. That is why Treasury Bills are now warehoused by Custodians. Even if the banks crash, your Tbills are still very much Intact. This is why they are regarded as the safest instrument to invest in all over the world.

why were we having conflicting dates before opening some say 13th others say 17th.
Ask yourself these questions.

it's possible to take a second batch and act like it's a new batch and collect money allocated to the new batch and get your cut since the old second batch will be less than the new batch... you get what I mean, but it's a theory. and it doesn't change Tha fact that you can't register till now.

This is a valid concern, I must state. This is an insecure site. I would think twice about providing my BVN on such a platform, unless I'm desperate about getting on the program.

Read an online newspaper column article recently about someone having 500K+ withdrawn from his account after texting his BVN to an unknown person. Hackers can easily access information on this N-Power site. The worse thing is that you cannot easily change the number.

It's not compulsory that you must be in the discount club to enjoy current offer. The offer is available for everyone both old and new accounts Holders. The discount club is just to be getting some percentage off in every new purchase. I didn't subscribe to it.

182 days - 16.5%
364 days - 17.85%

These were supposed to be for secondary market, but the quotes do like ones for primary market.

Sorry, a quick question: did you put in at least 50m for the primary market? GT and Access were insisting I needed to have 50m; otherwise, I have to settle for secondary market. I was thinking they would gather investments to make up that amount and bid on behalf of clients.

I couldn't join the discount program, as suggested by iykepromotions, because of the requirement to deposit at least 50 bucks. I don't have that much on my card and don't register often.
