Lol, inasmuch as I don't like that dude, I am in support of this action, the truth is, fear will kill people more than the disease, I have seen someone who never showed symptoms of sickle cell disease, but immediately he did test as required by the church marriage committee and discovered his status, he didn't survive that year.

My opinion
The security needs to enforce mask and social distancing and let us stop spreading fear, I believe more than 40% are carriers already, lockdown can never work because people will not adhere to it

Stop thinking with your anus mallam, you saw nothing wrong when they were deported from kano but you are now opening your goro teeth to criticize the west, as for the constitution you quoted, that does not go in line with the situation we find ourselves now

This is totally wrong.

Nigeria constitution guarantee each Nigeria to reside and stay anyway in Nigeria without being discriminated.
The Almajiris has the right to stay anywhere in Nigeria, they should be sent back to Ondo.
I know many Yorubas that stays and live in Gombe and Yola and nobody has ever threatened them or asked them to go back to Southwest.

Because of this North will not vote for a Yoruba president in 2023.

Every country are beginning to find ways to live with it and some foolish people are thinking of how to bring us down even with the pitiable state of the economy, my question is
Has the lockdown worked for any country?
With the security breach of our security allowing the influx of almajiri to the south , I think we should just accept our fate, 10,000 tests in 1 month is a joke

The hatred for trump is something I dont just understand. It's as if trump doesnt have a medical team that told him about the hydroxychloroquine before he announced it in public
hydrochloroquine is not bad bro, we all used it while growing up, though scrachy sometimes but effective. I don't expect anyone in Nigeria to be sceptical about it

Anyone in Nigeria who has an issue with chloroquine is either biased or due to hatred for Donald Trump because he supported it.

There is no drug as far as I am concerned that is more effective than chloroquine in treating those symptoms of coronavirus

It reminds me of when life was so bad that we had to relocate to the village, we were roasting cassava as breakfast, I had to follow my dad to pick left over cassava in people's farms just to survive
If you have never tasted poverty, don't wish it for anyone, it can make a responsible person turn to a thief. I thank God for my condition today and I hope for a better tomorrow

Health / Re: Coronavirus: NCDC Fears Spread May Worsen As Lockdown Ends Today by u11ae1013: 3:08pm On May 03, 2020
oyokometer:
Please I advise all my friends on nairaland, especially most of us staying in FCT, Lagos, Kano, to think twice b4 joining the multitudes that would jump into the street by 4th of May tomorrow Monday, we can't come this far to go back fast...4th May is not the expiration date for the virus, you can still contract it, so think twice before you make the decision of going out and if you finally decide to go out please be more careful than you have been.

Spanish flu of 1918 killed over 50million persons reason been that when the isolation was relaxed then, people rushed into the street to begin their normal life without been mindful of the fact that the flu was still around and within the first three weeks of the relaxation, over 35million persons lost their lives. Let's not give room for history to repeat itself... Extend your own lockdown beyond 4th May if you can.
While countries like America, Italy and China were in lockdown, their governments were busy disinfecting the streets of their nations. While Nigerians were on lockdown, our government were struggling to grapple with how to get clear and proactive approach to curb or curtail the pandemic amid dilapited and rundown infrastrural facilities that they have neglected over the years and also no radical approach but haphazard and fire brigades where there aren't functional fire trucks to quench the bush fire already ignited by COVID-19. The haphazard disinfections measures measures put in place to checkmate the spread of the virus were laughable. Now America, Italy, China are relaxing their lock down, our copy copy government are also relaxing ours. The citizens of the above nations will go into well disinfected streets while we will carelessly rush into highly infected streets....think twice.

America, China and other nations began to think of relaxing their lockdown when they started experiencing low record of Coronavirus case but our myopic government chose to relax our lockdown even when we are still experiencing massive increase of the virus.
If wisdom has eluded our leaders in aspect of decision making, let wisdom not also elude us in making our own personal decision. Be guided, think twice, stay home and stay save, Those who will tell the story of this Coronavirus are those that took painstaking measures to stay indoors, you can choose to be one of us....
bros, you are just quoting epistles of other countries, am sure you are not in Lagos or your are among those getting 20k free in katsina that is why you are talking like this, a government that locks you down without anything for one month and many are not under salary, do you expect them to steal?

Caseless:

We used to think the virus is mostly carried by rich people who are usually out of reach of the poor, so we feel a sense of distance from the virus. We also feel it's those who travel out that can can carry the virus home and infect their families alone.
I think we have to wake up from this dangerous mindset.

I'm sure you all know almajiri who are being repatriated are the ones taking the virus to their various locations across north. What does that tell you? It's everywhere and everyone is susceptible to it.

Nigerians, protect yourself. It's better to be hungry than to be COVID-19 positive. Don't give in to hunger by throwing away all safety guidelines because you feel you have your freedom back. Government does not care about you. Protect yourself...
it's not, with convid your chances of survival is 98%, but hunger can wipe your whole family or turn you to a thief. Be wise
