Don't mind them.
I don't agree with your picture. Mike Brown was the person that selected, not Alex Nwora. When Alex Nwora was the coach, Igbos were not as much as they are now in the team.

The truth may be bitter, Reno could be speaking the truth, but because it was not in favor we are all calling for his head
He may be speaking the truth. But my question is why didn't he mention the specific Igboid group enslaved by the Binis? Why was he scared?

But if we have to go by Reno, you guys were slaves to the Binis, so which is better ?
Reno is a mad man. He was trying to deface we the Ikwerres and Aniomas. If he had the balls, why didn't he mention the ethnic nationality? He just hid under the Igbo umbrella despite the fact that we've told him times without number that we Ikwerres are not part of the Bia Hegemony. We all know the Igboid tribe that inhabits Delta State, so he should stop hiding and be a man.

From ur comments, it shows u are immature and still a toddler. No wonder you Igbos dont love ur selves. Anambra Igbos, hate imo Igbos, enugu Igbos hate ebonyi Igbos, Abia Igbos hates anambra Igbos. U think u guys will ever progress with this ur hates?
U no go eva understand. Igbo itself is a meta-ethnicity. The Igbo identity just sprung up in the 1900's unlike Hausa identity which has existed for centuries. An Igbo man from Abiriba in Abia State is culturally and linguistically different from an Igbo man in Oba, Anambra State. It would interest you to know that an Abiriba man is more related and connected to the Efik-Ibibios of Akwa Ibom than his "so-called" Igbo brothers in Anambra or Imo. While the Oba man is more related to the Igalas of Kogi state than his "so-called" Igbo brothers in Abia or Ebonyi State. That is why you see all these skirmishes. I don't blame Igbo people Sha, they are too different from each other and they know this.

I am tempted to agree with you. The cry of they are mostly igbos becos this team was "chosen on merit" is very deceptive. Can someone provide me answers to the following

1. When was ever the D'Tigres team chosen not on merit?
2. Like we have Kano Pillars, Mike Meteroes etc. Which notable Basketball club exist in SE that has won something consistently in the local league?

This team are all from the States... it has nothing to do with "Igbos" and people's jaundiced interpretation of "merit"
Your question is preposterous. Which basketball club in Africa apart from Rivers Hoopers has won something valuable? Yes, Igbos dominate D'Tigers and D'Tigress, because there are more Igbos playing basketball, not because they have the best talents. Having the best talents is more of a subjective assertion. Talent is inherent in specific individuals, not heterogeneous ethnicities.

All the Igbo I've met are shorter than I am
I'm kinda thin though cheesy
Igbos generally have more muscle but height is a no no for igbos heaven4444
Nice to hear that! All the Igbos I met are taller than all the Yorubas I've met, even here in PH it's the thesame. What an irony!

ok well I always wonder why igbos keep holding on to you guys my wish is for igbos living in rivers to work with ijaws against your interest

It is sad u guys promote animosity against igbos and yorubas in the name of fighting wazobia

From experience you guys never fight the (zo) part
From your comments, I've deciphered that you're not Itsekiri, neither are you from the Niger Delta. You must be an Igbo or Yoruba clown in disguise. What is bad in saying we don't want you guys meddling in our business? Ijaw is spoken in parts of Ondo State, yet how many times have you seen Ijaws drawing claims to them there? Ibibio is spoken in parts of Abia State, yet how many times have you seen Ibibios drawing claims there? Infact, the cradle of modern day Igbo land--Arochukwu was formerly called "Ibom". The Igbos from Rivers know themselves, and Igbos know them. Apart from Oyigbo,Etche,Omuma,Ndoni, and Egbema communities mistakenly carved into Rivers State, no other part of Rivers has anything to do with the Bia Hegemony, that some of us speak an Igboid language does not make us Igbos. The same goes to Itsekiri, that Itsekiri people speak a Yoruboid language does not make them Yorubas, we are all Niger Deltans with ancestry from Benin. We have nothing to do with the arrogant and domineering WAZOBIANS, so know this and know it well.

So, I should also allow an Imo and Ondo man to dictate my life in Warri? Getat!
You are not from Warri! No Warri man will talk like you. You must be from one of the domineering WAZOBIA ethnicities

I'm I Igbo or Yoruba? Wetin concern me with Igbo people in Delta or Yoruba in Kwara? My own is Itsekiri people are Niger Deltans like me, we are tired of the hegemony of the so-called major WAZOBIA ethnic groups looking for free land and oil to grab.

While in Lagos, in my high school, the tallest boys I knew were Igbos, same when I went to University. Yours could be the other way round, so no problem.

no Nigerian player has won a/an half of that.

Paolo Maldini

Oliver Khan
Michael Ballack
Roberto Baggio
Dennis Bergkamp (who recently got unveiled together with other 11 legends to the first phase of EPL hall of fame)
Luis Figo
David Beckham
Frank Lampard
Steven Gerrard
The list goes on, are the football wizards who never won an international trophy.

perhaps international honour might be insignificant after all, unless you disagree that the folks I listed above are not football legends.

Is Afcon even important in the scheme of things? HAHAHAHAHA.
People like you are the same people that would have lambasted Messi months ago for not having a major international trophy, yet you are doing the direct opposite here. My question is, what international trophy has he won, how many times has he played in the world cup, etc?
