On the issue of prosperity and a christian i know as a fact that it is not wrong for a child of God to seek to be prosperous or be wealthy. God is the owner of all the riches of the world and He sure doesnt want His kids broke sick or distraught in life. Healing, prosperity and all the blessings of God are provided for in the bible but there is something i always love to add when preaching about prosperity etc and i have also heard it being preached in church. I always add that you can ONLY begin to claim this wonderful promises if you are first of all a child of the kingdom.Lets face facts, the kingdom of God requires money. You need money to influence the world around us as far as the money is used for the right purpose. How else will the sick, the poor and the down troddedn be taken care of. Do we just preach to people without taking care of their immediate needs. How do you organize crusades and programs to spread the word of God. Are you aware that there are countries where churches are banned and the christians there just rely on satelite tv programs for their edification. Even in a local church, it takes money to pay for rent, buy a good sound system and run the church or do we do as Jesus did and tell people "The Lord has need of it"

I thank God for this conversation between maddock and nuclearboy. This goes a long way to prove that we can disagree to agree.To the issue at hand, i have been a christian for a long time and i know i am enlightened a bit about the issues of Christianity. Nuclearboy, as maddock succinctly informed you, Pastor Chris has been misinterpreted for a long time. Firstly, he is one person who always emphasizes the fact that a christian should grow and mature and be able to stand on their feet and not rely on their pastors for prayers etc simply because we all have the Spirit of God. I know of places where you need your pastor to pray for you for every little thing but in Christ embassy, you are considered a "babe" if you keep running to your pastor at every point in time.But you know we are all on different levels of faith. Any christian whose focus is not on God but on their pastor is highly deluded but it does not mean we should not appreciate, love and show respect for our pastors. You complain of members of christ embassy being the reason why the public misconceives the ministry but i know the simple reason. You know that christ embassy have many members and people are at different levels of growth. I doubt if a mature christian and member will begin to senselessly defend and try to counter the accusations of the public. It is normal to be misinterpreted and termed controversial especially when you have a sensitive ministry which involves healing. I read in one of Kenneth Hagins book when he said that he was not happy when Jesus told him that he is giving him a healing ministry because he is aware of the criticism attached to those in that line of ministry. Lets all take time to without bias find out facts for ourself and not rely on what people say. May God help us.

Your choice of words is rather distasteful, I can see we have many people who take it upon themselves to advocate for God. The question I will like to ask is that what if you are actually wrong, what if all the things you have heard about Pastor Chris are mere fallacies? What if you do not just understand some of his doctrines which are not particularly wrong? You say the same about Bishop Oyedepo and other men of God but I make bold to say to you that even if these men are scammers and all the words you have attributed to them, you are actually not an example of the believer as the bible enjoined us to be in 1st Tim4:12. You spew out raw hatred out of your mouth and you sound really self righteous. If you think people are deluded and carried away by the false doctrines taught in churches then simply PRAY that the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened. You sound like this is a personal war you have to win. Remember, you may win an argument but it does not mean you have won that persons soul to God so brother, change your strategy. Only God knows those who are His.

The alternative is to leave your house VERY early, ippc is just once a year and if you plan well, you can make it. People travel all over the world to attend so we in lag are at a very large advantage. BTW, congratulate me because zone 2 carried the day, there is really room for overtakig as Pastor always say. Anyone who has truly gone through the Nigerian Law School knows that the standard is very very high, the system does all within its power to ensure a malpractice free examination, and i can boldly say that the law school is one of the few Nigerian institutions with very high standards. However, there will always be bad eggs within the system who aim at soiling the integrity of the law school. We are informed that its the DG that sets the exam questions himself the morning of the paper therefore its nt surprising that it is his personal assistant who the DG trusts that is responsible for the leakage in the examination question. The fact that this is being investigated goes a long way to prove how clean the system is. Where else will you see judges and san children failing the bar exam. i will rank the law school 80% and i say a big shame to those involved in soiling the schools name and pray they will be brought to book.

Please things havent gotten so bad in Nigeria that we should believe that every cry for help is a scam. There are some posts directly referring to the poster which i find very disturbing. Firstly, i say this because i also read the same story on the paper and the poster actually mentioned that the story can be verified by simply checking the nation newspaper which we know will not publish unverified stories. Its possible that no link was provided because the poster does not know how to do so. If we have to give fine and if we do not have lets not discourage others with a willing heart.

Indomie is truly the most preffered in the Nigerian market. Sentiments aside, the Judge did nothing wrong in granting the accused bail. This is because the law is that you are innocent until proven guilty and rape is a bailable offence. My problem is that i am sure that the complaint may want to withdraw the case later on because rape cases are very embarrasing on the part of the victims young or old and this is the reason why most rape victims die in silence. I think the law  should be reviewed and rape cases not be conducted in public but in chambers.

Hello everyone, i just read through this topic and am highly impressed, i went through different emotions all at once, laughing, crying etc. I thank God for the prayers that have been answered and those still trusting God. Though im not trying to conceive, i have someone close to me who is waiting on the lord and i trust Him to do same. There is no topic on ladies waiting on God to get married like me, cos you know for people like me, that is the first stage before trying to conceive. Hi doc, thanks for the wonderful work you have been doing so far. About three years ago, i suddenly developed a small mole at the tip of my nose that looks like i got my nose pierced, it dosent hurt but at the initial stage i tried cutting it but it just ended up growing back. I please need a solution to it. Also, i suddenly developed severe back pain and was unable to bend down for two weeks. In the course of doing tests, it was discovered that my blood level is low, 35% precisely. Please what is the cause of the sudden loss in my blood cos i get dizzy all the time.

Thanks for your advice. Will a week be okay to at least lose 2kg coupled with minimal exercise cos i go to work very early and am not back till 10. Once again, is this healthy for an ulcer patient.

Hi everyone, i asked for an advice but none was proffered. Please i need a further advice, i have tried to lose weight by keeping to my diet but it seems im nt successful. i normally eat like two apples in the morning, i at times eat very little during lunch time and take fruits for dinner but the weight dosent seem to fall.

Please as most people have advised, let him be the way God intended for him to be. Though im right handed, i have a very strong feeling that i was
meant to be left handed but for the influence of people maybe wen i was a child. This is because i tend to do most things with my left hand unconsciously, my left hand also seem to be stronger than my right and in summary, people think am left handed. Please dont exert any external influence on the child. Who knows, my writing which is nt too good may have been finer if i was to use my left

I wonder what the problem is, the man prayed and prophesied over his church members and someone posts the message and critics are at their best. Please let me ask you, if it was ur earthly father that prayed this prayer would you complain. Does being a christian mean that one should suffer in this world and be poor and not aspire for the fine things of life? the only thing is that it shuld not be our priority so i see nothing wrong in the message of the Pastor.
