Pls can someone explain the difference between the storehouse and the temple in the old testament?
If the emphasis was on bringing tithes into the storehouse, why did Christ go against the God's command by emphasising giving out to the poor instead of bringing to the temple? Remember he told the rich man to sell all his property and give to the poor and not to the priests or him.
In sending out his disciples, why did Christ ask them to depend on charity instead of insisting on being paid for their services? Are our present men of God no longer Christ disciples?
Why did the apostles who were filled with the Holy Spirit go contrary to God's commandments by emphasising on giving instead of tithing? Did the apostles see themselves more as Christians than Jews who were not bound by Jewish religious obligations?

Hebrews 7: 5 - 25, Gal 3:23 &24 all shows that tithing like other laws which led to Christ has ended with the death of Christ and establishment of the new Christian congregation which worship not in man made temples but in spirit and truth

Love of God? How can someone says he loves God yet sheep under his pastoral care cannot afford school fees, clothing and food yet he flies in private jet and build schools for the rich.

I am not for or against tithe but it should be voluntary and even then Pastors should make members understand that tithe alone is not a guarantee of success or good relationship with God. Justice and Love of God are more important in attracting blessings. That's what Christ said

Why is there no controversy about other laws like sabbath and animal sacrifice which carries death penalty? Numbers 15: 32-36

... Giving or seeds are not the same as tithing. While the former is of free will (2Cor 9:7). The later is under compulsion (it has to be 10% to fulfill the tithing law)
A Christian is a follower of Christ hence I will obey the Christian admonition to give as one resolves in his or her heart.

... Hello, not the same! The Levite's have no properties, no inheritance. That priesthood was abolished when Christ died making way for all anointed Christians in the 1st century to become 'a a royal Priesthood'

You can only rob God in Tithes and offering, if you like go share money and food to the poor it can never replace your Tithes but its just a golden rule give and it shall be given unto you. Please read your Bible carefully. If you don't know the origin of tithing law, you can never know when it ended.
Gal 3: 23&24. Penalty for not paying tithe may be that God may not bless u, but penalty for not obeying Sabbath is death by stoning Exodus 31:14. Have u asked your self why our men of god do not preach other mosaic laws like Sabbath? Reason is that it does not bring money

Have you ever read about a Christian celebrating Christ's birth in the Bible or any other birthday at all? Do some research, Christmas is very popular but that doesn't erase its pagan origin.

But just be assured that tithe is not a christian teaching, it was designed to service the levitical priesthood who works in a temple Christ destroyed and built up in 3days with the establishment of the new Christian congregation in Pentecost 33 CE.
