Or Mark is wrong for not telling us the story of John the Baptist's birth?

The message is one! JESUS.. The mediator that reconciles us back to the relationship and communion we used to have in the Garden of Eden.

It has always been a question in my heart or should I say mind because I can't understand. Either you are a Roman Catholic, a Methodist, an Adventist, a Jehovah Witness, a protestant etc, we all read the same bible yet we are not and have never been the same.

Why is that? Was Bible created to be contradictory? Was it a deliberate art to make sure people don't understand each other? Why is it so?

Daddy Freeze shared the below picture showing the write up that has in many years eluded the understanding of men.

One GO said if you don't pay tithe God will curse you, a G63 driving pastor said if you don't tithe there is no curse, illustrating his opinion with some weird astronomy doctrine, while another former private jet owning past president of 'Christianity' said "You go die o" and they say I'm the one causing the confusion.

Tithing dates far back before the Mosaic law. It is a covenant practice born out of revelation and insight into the deep things of God.

Father Abraham gave tithes.
Jacob gave his tithe.

And if we are Abraham's children and are now partakers of Abraham's blessings, then we must equally engage the deeds of Abraham (Hebrews 7).

Many are busy shouting, "we are now under grace, and not under the law, therefore the law should be done away with". Is this only regarding tithing?

I hope grace has now nullified the law that says thou shall not kill, thou shall not commit fornication, thou shall not lie, thou shall not worship any other god besides me, etc.

Many have become abusers of grace because they don't understand what grace is and what it has come to do.

Grace is the divine ability to do God's will without limitation where ordinarily, men would fail. Grace rides on the wheels of Mercy.

It is this mercy (divine pardon) that everyone enjoys today as a result of the blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. That is why, when many ought to have died instantly after committing a sin, they live on. Mercy suspends at outright almost instant consequence for sin and gives many chances for repentance.


The death of Jesus didn't abolish tithing because if it does, then it also abolished the sin of murder, idolatory and fornication.

His death only grants us divine pardon from the immediate consequences of sin.

Good sermon, thank you very much. BUT, your sermon seem to dwell on monetary wealth only.

Wealth is not necessarily the cash one has or poverty the lack of it. They are very wealthy people who are not as rich monetarily and they are very wealth men who do not have cash.

In the Kingdom of God, things are not the way they are in the secular world.

If you ask me, i'd say, the Rich man didn't end up in hell or Hades because he didn't feed Lazarus, Yes, he should have, but that was not his only fault. What was his motive for not doing it? Motive is what YHWH will primarily use to judge us. Why did you do it?

I'd say, he didn't do it because of his PRIDE OR HAUGHTINESS.

When you consider yourself better than the next person, then you have a problem with YHWH. If it were just a matter of giving, am sure if a man or woman of his status showed up in his house while at table, he'll insist that the person joins him. But, Pride was his undoing.

The Issue is Pride. His condescending attitude did not allow him consider that Lazarus was human just as he was.

And, Listen, when you stand preaching the Gospel but take a position to condemn another preacher, you invalidate your position. because, you are not called into that ministry by the master. Anyone who stands on others to be seen, will eventually fall.

If you take time to listen to the so called Prosperity preachers, you'd understand that, they try to go beyond 'the life of Jesus' which was offered as a propitiation for us, to the PRINCIPLES OF JESUS which he taught us what to do and how to do it to occupy this earth until his return.

If you decides to end at 'the Life of Jesus' without applying 'the Principles of Jesus', then be okay with that, instead of criticizing those who goes further.

The Rich man didn't go to hell because he was Rich and Lazarus didn't end up in the Bossom of Abraham because he was poor. All of them had attitudes which propelled their actions while alive, and that determined where they both ended.

As much as Jesus said 'The Poor shall not cease in our midst', we as Christians are also enjoined to work with our own hands. The Bible says 'A lazy man should not be given food. He that does no work, shd not eat.

Why was Lazarus poor? Was he sick hence, could not work with his hands or just lazy? I believe in Lazarus's case he was sick, so can be excused. But if not, he had no right to go to the rich man's house to beg.

Bottomline, poverty is not a mark of Holiness, for poverty is a spirit and it is evil. Jesus said, 'Let the poor say i am rich'. Why is that?

Again, Riches or wealth is not a mark of Sin. Anyone who workd hard will be wealthy. A believer or an unbeliever. Sowing and reaping happens to both.

There's no father of faith who was poor and a begger. Is it Abraham, or Jacob? ot Joseph, or who?

Stop preaching a wrong gospel pls.

If we work hard, especially if you are rightly planted and in a good soil, doing what pleases God, He'll prosper you and you'd leave substance for your offspring.

Poverty is sin.

Say watin happen? Who wan use the money? God directly or man? There are millions of Nigerians who don't have breakfast, some are living close to you. Some sick fellas aren't able to pay their hospital bills, assist them. Help these ones and God will bless you. This method of taxation by the church is a disgrace. WHY it is CHRISTMAS and not Xmas
Ladies and gentlemen, it beats my imagination to see how the world has turned Christianity into Xtianity, Christ into X and Christmas into Xmas. This is just a deliberate ploy by enemies of the cross to discredit Christ and represent him with bad sign 'X' or negativity (as often used in schools to depict failure).
I know that other religions like Islam would not accept Xlam neither would Budhism nor Hinduism accept Xhism or Xduism respectively. It is only in Christianity that anything goes, even we the follower of Christ help in propagating negativity and falsehood relating to our faith. What a shame? Please be wise.
Again, it is Christmas Greetings and not Season's Greetings (I don't know the kind season they mean: rainy, dry, summer or winter). MTN, other service providers and cards printers should take note.
