Eriokanmi: Hi, and @ tblaze007, application submitted for myself and staff who is my company's tech unit head mid November.
Same docs were submitted for both applications except a few, which pointed directly to him. My application was approved a couple of months back, while his own was still waiting in line, until this morning. I had an expired and valid US visa already while my technician had nothing, maybe a reason his application went through the normal processing time. He has never been to NA countries before but has been to EU for training twice in the past.
I did not enroll for biometric because mine is still valid while he did.
Documents submitted
Copies of his past training certificates His marriage certificate Employment letter A copy of his job ID A letter stating the importance of the training and benefits to our company and the sector that we serve A Letter of promotion as the head of tech. unit with the new roles clearly defined The company bank statement( which covered both of us cos my company was the sponsor) The invitation letter from our business partner for the training God factor, ultimately That's all. "He has never been to NA countries before but has been to EU for training twice in the past" is this a typing error because this statement is confusing if you mean he has never been to any country but travel to Europe twice |

Ashirioluwa: To request a GCMS note, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; or an individual residing within Canada, and it will cost you CAD$5.
Applicants outside of Canada can still apply for GCMS notes through use of a representative who is either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or corporation in Canada. you can request gcms note as foreigner living outside of Canada under the Privacy Act only and it free https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

Eriokanmi: In summary
1- having a US visa will speed up your application process, even if the processing time says 365 days, you could receive a PPR within 2 weeks.
2- Even if you made a gory mistake in your application which you noticed after submission of same, hand it over to God. It would be overlooked.
3-God's favour is very important, you could still have a well-packaged application, devoid of fraud or error but still get refused. So, seek divine favour always cos human efforts aren't enough.
The above summary was arrived at, judging from my personal experience and that of my relatives. Thanks.
Thanks It's not accurate to say that visa refusals mean someone is not favored by God, or that visa approvals mean someone is favoured. Also, using fake documents to get approved doesn't mean one is favoured either. Making a mistake like misrepresentation and then praying isn't necessarily about God. When people apply for a visa, some get approved, some don't. It's not about being a sinner or being favoured by God. Sometimes people over-spiritualist things because they're stuck in old ways of thinking. You shouldn't have to fast and pray just to get a tourist visa if you genuinely want to go on holiday and not misuse the visa. It's about following the rules and being honest about your intentions. So, it's important to understand that visa decisions are based on many factors, not just spiritual ones. Often, the way we practice religion doesn't align with what God truly wants. For instance, some people may cheat in business to make a profit and then credit their success to God. This doesn't reflect the true essence of spirituality. |

Debbieeeeeee: The essence of the law in Nigeria aligns with the points I've mentioned and that’s the law. It's crucial to acknowledge that visa officers, being human, vary in their sources of information—some have firsthand knowledge, others rely on the internet, and some may exercise discretion. Your past denial involved points unrelated to your application and you were wondering where it came from, highlighting the divergence in decision-making. Packaging your application appropriately plays a role; some succeed with a modest approach, while others may benefit from a more thorough presentation. Keep in mind that you went the extra mile by legalizing a copy. Okay,l was refused Canada visa based on travel experience and it was clearly stated and no mention of wedding cert. but I want to ask you a question as a lawyer. What would you advise this guy now? He initially filled out an application stating that he was married in 2018 while applying student visa and presented a marriage certificate. However, we cannot determine whether the marriage registry is legal or not at as that time . I was asking a respected fellow beside me, and he suggested the best and easiest way to proceed without complicating matters would be to state that he is divorced and obtain a court sworn affidavit to close the issue. Any other opinion could complicate things for him because what he presented initially was a marriage certificate, and his status was married. Please provide your advice, not just from a legal standpoint, but considering the practical reality of the situation. |

Debbieeeeeee: In Nigeria we mostly practice something called double deck marriage, as wahala no dey finish 😂
Traditional Registry Church or Islamic rites I received my UK visiting visa last week l applied before my Canada visa decision to attend a friend wedding and I applied with my church marriage certificate, which was approved. However, I was previously refused a Canada visa, even though I applied with the same church marriage certificate and no mention of it was made as the reason for refusal. I even legalized a copy at the Federal Foreign Ministry Abuja , and it was stamped too. Upon my return from the UK, I intend to apply for a France visa using the same certificate. Hopefully, next year, I will apply for a Canada visa again with the same church marriage certificate because if it is recognized in Nigeria and i have many northern friend that use only their mosque marriage cert to apply visa , I do not understand why a visa officer would reject it. |

divine128: Why do you feel all saintly, you can’t tell me you haven’t forged or do something abnormal, this is not me supporting fraudulent means,ur aren’t a saint MARY,she clearly wrote a good and wonderful notes, but ur body kept doing you jigijigi, how many Nigerians has stable means of livelihood, any boby that gat the means to japa should japa and contribute to his community in Nigeria,my last question for you, will you want to come back to Nigeria, without having Canadian resident permit, this will enable travel their without restriction,or are you a son of dangote has trillions in his account and don’t have need for any country’s permit, stop portraying over sabi mentality everywhere, talking about reason people travel everywhere Nigerian trying means to travel has a good reason, common reason is GREENER PASTURE,either by working in the country Dey want to go to make thing work for them in their country, every Nigerians has a good reason for travelling.the only issue to the good reasons is how they get the visa Your statement suggests support for fraudulent activities, advocating that individuals should "japa" from Nigeria due to its economic challenges by any means This includes fabricating documents to obtain visas and lying to claim asylum, which adversely affects other legitimate applicants. Isn't this a selfish and self-centered approach? Do you believe this is acceptable ,l guess you will accept yahoo, yahoo is ok since no job in Nigeria ..it ok to engage in internet scam and give the money to contribute to the community ..you do not need to be son of Dangote to do the right thing in life to succeed and this part of the mentality causing problem in our nation!!! |

Madukachase: Lol. I wont argue with you. Travel history is a plus. But remember say na poor men pikin need travel history. I have seen lots of ppl. Seen, not hear say, that visited canada without travel history. You're arguing blindly!!!. Travel history is crucial for Canadian visa applications now because evidence shows many first-time travelers overstay or claim asylum. Do you believe they'll keep issuing visas to people with no travel history? Asylum has become a political issue in Canada. Don't judge based on sentiment; it's caused by our people. If you were a visa officer in Canada, would you continue issuing visas knowing many who previously received visas end up making false asylum claims AND most of them have no travel history , like falsely claiming to be LGBTQ+? We must fear God and defend the truth, not lies!!! |

Kennyg290: The Bible says many are called but few are chosen, all I know is that you have tried by applying but God knows why. No hope is lost Sorry, your Bible quote does not apply to me because I am called and chosen by God, and visa rejection is not a rejection by my God. Go and study your Bible and stop quoting out of context!" |
