Harjeehbaday: Thanks for your advise, am waiting for next week draws while i consider the OINP as well. By next week things will be clear after the draws. I really appreciate your feedback, it will all end in Praise !!! If I may ask, why don't you want to go through the PNP route? My Understanding of the email is that you will only be excluded from FSW route only when you accept the nomination. It's also stated that the expression of interest does not mean automatic nomination. My advise would be to pursue the two options.. PNP and FSW.. My two cents |

She received AOR immediately but till date, 14th January 2019 she still hasn't been sent biometrics requirements. Please is this normal or is she supposed to contact CIC? Dec. 4th AOR just started getting MEP/ Biometrics request based on available data. I will advise her to join the Dec AOR WhatsApp. A quick search on this thread will display the link. |

Revres: Good day everyone.
Just got ITA and need some assistance with the following questions.
1. Is there any problem if your job overlaps with your education in personal history? If yes, I believe a LOE will suffice? 2. Under Travel History - I was asked if any of my family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. (required) - My elder sister is currently based in Ivory Coast, is that a yes?
Thank you. I believe the family in this case refers to couple and depended immigrating with you. It does not apply to your sister or brother. |

Kmartt: Hello everyone, kindly help me on the below information.
I got a job offer from a company in Canada, they also sent me an INVITATION LETTER of which a copy was also emailed to Canada Immigration visa section for visa processing.
Below is the mail I just got from the Canada Immigration visa section,
Dear visa applicant,
2) Lawyer Clearance Certificate from Canadian immigration lawyers. (email provided)
We are looking forward to receiving all these listed requirements above from you in order to grant your visa to Canada within 7 working days.
Director of Immigration,
Visa section, Ottawa Canada.
The issue now is how to get requirement (2) which is Lawyer Clearance Certificate from Canadian immigration lawyers. I have mailed them via the email provided by the Canada Immigration visa section but still no response. I have a deadline of 5 working days to provide all these documents to enable them grant me entry visa.
Anyone with ideas should please help me out. Thanks This looks like a big scam to me. Next they will ask you to pay for the immigration lawyer services. Please be careful.. |

DrMrsCK: She is not in Canada. I doubt she even knows about the program. We only wanted to mention her just in case she decides to come to Canada some day. I know someone in the same scenario. His immediate younger sister reduced her age due to some error, making her have the same age with her younger sister. He only included his youngest sister in the application. Both sisters have traveled to US and Canada, hence there is no chance in correcting that error again. |

Good morning all. By the special grace of God, I'll soon be a legitimate member of this group.
I discovered that it takes about 7- 12 months to formalize APEGA registration and get your PE designation.
My question is, which engineering license should one apply for with APEGA - EIT or PE as a new immigrants. Which of these license has a higher prospect of landing a job as a new immigrants.
Can any engineer please share his/her experience praticing in Alberta. |

MysTeerioz: Hi guys, I'm 14weeks post-AOR and when I called CIC concerning my application, I was informed that my eligibility is under review although I've passed the criminality, background and so on checks. I submitted 2 reference letters (from my current employer and former employer) and my POF was is FD. Does anyone have a similar experience and can advise me on what my next line of action should be? Apparently my file has been in CIO, Sydney all along. Can the process start and end there? Or should I expect them to move the file to another VO? You can order a GCMS notes. |

nomad26: My people, I am so happy right now that you would think I won the lottery lol My EOR results (from BC) came back successful! Writing was upgraded from 6.5 to 7 and speaking from 7.5 to 8.5. In fact, I didn't want to remark speaking, it was COPR that suggested that I do it just to increase the chances of getting my money back. Thanks man!
Also, to be honest I wasn't very confident about my writing because I didn't have time to review my essays at the end. All I was sure of was that I wrote over the word limit in both essays and in Task 2 (my task was to argue both sides and give my opinion), I wrote 4 paragraphs and used made-up examples in explaining both sides. I used IELTSADVANTAGE as a guide to structure my essay.
! Congrats brother |

funshobabs: Got my ielts TRF today. Looking at the result like I should tear it. L8.5, S7.5, R6.5 and W6.0 but I will kukuma create a profile and stay hopeful, hopefully when wifey write and ace ielts, I will update. We are currently sitting on a 371 lol. With my Msc and wife's BA. Perhaps we could beat the tie break rule in the nearest future. Any advice/tips on profile creation? You should register for another IELTS sharperly. This time practice all sections very well. There's a tendency to practice only reading and writing because you aced listening this time. Creating profile is simple.. Just go to CIC site....... |

We will begin a process for his ECA today, seeing as ICES said they'd resume new applications today [from their website].
Please seniors your inputs are needed.
Epp me My dear, why process is ECA when you already have such a high CRS score? For sure you will have ITA in the next draw going by last year draw. Just upload his certificate in place his education placeholder |

NeneSisi: Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen
Please I'm currently creating an EE profile, and I have a question.
My husband hasn't done his credential evaluation, so when filling his part, is it okay to fill the details for his education history, and then saying he doesn't have an ECA when asked about it..... Hope this won't mean that we will be expected to then provide an ECA post ITA.
[I asked because you know the profile can be updated along the way preITA]
Please help. Thanks Technically, it means you will not be claiming point - 8 for hubby education. My opinion is that it should be fine to create the profile while you process his ECA as planned. Seniors in the house may have better advise. |

That's a generic message. You only have to respond to it to start the conversation. It's the system's way of seeking your permission before allowing the mail exchange since both of you don't follow each other here.
So go ahead and respond with a "Hello!".
Lol Yes I'm new to NL. I've had PM from 5 different people regarding a post I made earlier and I have not been able to read anyone. To make matters worse, the messages have all disappeared . I must have clicked the dismiss button unknowingly. Is there a way to view all the previous messages.. |

Drahl: Thank you for your quick response.I really appreciate it.I used a book called BARRON'S for IELTS,youtube for map questions and road to IELTS.My average score is 37,but when i did the main test,I found out the materials i have been using were too simple. Band 9 is very possible. I got 9 in Listening. I'll advise that you practice with cambridge general training ielts manual. The question you will see on the exam day has the same level of difficulty and pattern with the training materials. When practicing try to simulate exam conditions . Print out the questions if possible. I used my IPad for the question and played the audio on my laptop while preparing. The test format/ pattern would most likely be that of General Training 13. So practice first with previous General Training materials before using the current one. I can give you all my materials if you are in PH. On the exam day, use only capital letter. The reason is, they mark you down if you don't capitalize a proper noun. |

nice2: Silent reader and i must say, this group is loaded. I just saw my result and i cant keep quiet anymore. I'm devastated right now. I dont know what i am doing wrong o. Ielts has been holding me down since July. First three attempt is with BC. 1st attempt: LRSW 8.5/6.5/7.5/7. 2nd attempt: 7.5/6.5/7/6.5. 3rd attempt: 8/7.5/7.5/6.5. Applied for EOR this December so i'm yet to get result. Fourth attempt is with MOD 8.5/8/8/6.5. Please what should i do as i'm fed up already. ECA has been ready since September. You are almost there, don't give up just yet. You should go for EOR and register for another one. I successfully passed my IELTS on the 3rd attempt.. I got 6.5 and 6 in writing the first two attempts. On my 3rd attempt, I used only one study material for writing - Jay IELTS free YouTube videos. I'll advise you prepare using Jay video. Goodluck to you.. |
