Canadian born pop star Drake smashed a streaming record on Sunday as the Apple-backed Canadian rapper's latest album scored the biggest debut on the US charts this year.


The songs on Views, which came out on 29 April, were streamed 245.1 million times in the United States in the week through Thursday, according to tracking service Nielsen Music.

The figure far outpaces the previous record-holding album, Purpose by fellow Canadian star Justin Bieber, whose songs were streamed around 100 million times in the week after its release in November.

Views sold more than one million copies either in direct sales or the equivalent in streaming, making it the best-selling album in the United States in its first week since Adele's massive 25 - which she kept off streaming services - in November, Nielsen Music said.

DB Records boss, D’banj, who recently said he is under serious pressure from his mother regarding getting married, has now revealed that when he does, it is going to be a secret marriage.

D’banj, in an interview with Punch explained that he is not married, but when he does, it is going to be done secretly.

After a couple of speculations and unconfirmed reports, Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, 39, earlier this month verified that she is indeed dating pop artiste JJC,and they are deeply in love.
Such a move is rare for the popular actress who has been very low key about her relationships in the past.

Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa shared a photo of her in bed with the JJC on her SnapChat. Before the revelation the pair attended the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards together.

In an interview with Nigerian website 360 Nobs Toke Makinwa responded to Ikeji’s sly jab by saying “I’m not the person who will come on here and give you ‘I was once a girl who had no shoes, who never dated anyone, and now I help the guy on Ajose-Adeogun to pay his school fees.’ What I do for people who come up to me to ask me for help or come up to me to ask me to inspire them is between myself and the person.”

The ‘Ojuelegba’ singer surely does not like Ms. Linda Ikeji. It all started after Linda Ikeji’s bag drama. Wizkid shared an article about Linda Ikeji suffering from poverty mentality. Linda Ikeji hit back by subbing the star that he is a deadbeat father. Wizkid went on an overdrive and called Linda Ikeji “lonely and bitter at 40.” No love lost between these two.
