Udoomama my sis, I did not go for it as planned. Dh refused that I should not go, that I should rest and take care of him and our marriage cos ttc is making me go crazy and to rest concerning taking drugs. I will go for it very soon just wanted to calm him down and explain things for him. It's well with us.

Yes you can try metforming and Clomid. But be sure to check you sugar levels before use because metforming is for insuline resistance.

Morning great mothers, I made up my mind to do the test today, so I did a blood pregnancy test this morning, it came out Negative and today is CD46,(after taking clomid and triggering) so I have decided to go for m2tone, vitex and maca (doing it the herbal way) , , my question is, are there diff brands of vitex n maca? If yes, which is the best? And how much does it cost? Again can I continue my folic acid even as I want to take the 3?

@udoomama, pcos is the cause of unexplained infertility and a lot of women have it but doctors or sonographers usually dont tell you they just go ahead and give you clomid or probably tell u that it is not a problem till the case gets worst, one of the common symptom is irregular af due to hormonal imbalance, i will suggest you wait for af to come cos you can tell for sure if you aren't pregnant, if af shows up then you can start the this protocol and give yourself 3 months and your body regulate and you will be able to ovulate on your own.

Tips: to confirm if you have pcos or not do a TVS during your ovulation, if a dorminant follicle of about 18mm is seen from day 12 then you are fine but if a multiple follicles that are below 10mm are seen on CD13-15 then you have pcos, in pcos the follicles gets matured later that is if they ever get matured and ovulation usually occurs from CD19 upwards which explains the reason for the longer cycle.

to overcome PCOS take herbs that boost estrogen from CD1 to CD13 then switch to herbs that boost progesterone level and lengthen luteal phase like wild yam + vitex or progesterone pills from CD 17 till af for 3 months to help your body understand how a cycle should run and after that your body will be able to pick up on its own.

but if u read further up, just few pages up, u would see where mumihaji advised sum1 to take m2tone, vitex n Macs roots for 3 months to regulate her flow.

M2tone has vitex (I think so) so u might not need vitex. Just google them up. Mamas that have used it will shed more light. @iomoge and @tatacherie

Allahu Akbar! Allah is great. He has answered my prayers in this holy month of Ramadan. It all started in Dec 2012. I really don't know what to say now cos am overwhelmed with joy. I am 12dpo today n tested this afternoon and there it was. The second miracle line appeared but faint. I ran to the pharmacy to get another brand of test strip and I dipped it again n d 2 lines came clear and pink. Alhamdulillah! Wishing every hopeful mama here fertility favour. No one of us in this family house of Allah shall be barren. Ameeeeen.
