sorry for the delays, so its time to start and its going to be on photoshop. I will try to make it as practical as i can. so you guys list the troubles that you have in photoshop and I will teach you how to solve them, or do you prefer that I take it one topic at a time? and Its going to be a video tutorial series so you can follow what I am doing as well.

also you can indicate if you are talented in script writing or motion picture and sound. I want us gather and decide on a project that we can embark on little by little, we can work on it on weekends or week nights if we have the time. I am thinking of an animated short 1 or 2 minutes at most.
the guys that are good with script writing will write the script, then we decide wether 2D or 3D is better. if we decide 2d then we indicate what we need for the scene and those good with corel and photoshop can make the assets but if its 3d then guys in that area can model the props then hand over to the ones good in animating to put it together before finally handing over to the post composition guys for the finishing touches

we can move the file via dropbox which is free storage online or we can use any of the uploading sites.

I believe that we are many so it shouldnt be that stressful and might at worst put in not more than 6 hours of our individual time if we do it together.

much easier said than done, the industry for cartoon production is still at an infant stage in this great country. to make a cartoon no be moi moi, you have the animators, the script writers the directors, and also have recording sessions and voice talent and not to mention the final output guys. now that is a staff of close to 50ppl as an average.

over there every cartoon is under a brand and not just anyone dreaming up to make it like walt disney did. and besides who is gonna agree to foot the bill in this country of ours? I am not saying that it is not feasible but there are many that are just interested in making money and cartoons are long time investments

needless to say most tv station will jump at the concept but the issue is are we willing to look beyond ourselves and make it work? Thank God some fearless bobos are on it already.

The internet is your friend on this. There is so much you can learn for free if you are willing to put in the time to go through the tutorials. There are things on youtube if you prefer to work with a video tutorial, but there are also "tutorial networks" and lists like http://psd.tutsplus.com/ and http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/ that make the work of finding good tutorials very easy.

if you want to learn photoshop or corel draw, just write "PHOTOSHOP" or "COREL DRAW". I have something in the pipeline for the forum depending on the response I get.

there is no such thing as learning in a short period, I have been in graphics for some years and I still feel like I need alot. go to psdtuts.com to get urself started.

you can get at Ikeja, but its not wacom, most likely you will get a Genius© tablet which is what I use. there is also a digital version. ask them where they sell graphic cards and printers. you should find.
