Litmus: WEST! They have started again. Always pressing Restive causing buttons. Since Africans take their words as though from God, they do have us by the blokos all the time. They don't always have to destroy any African nation that take thire fancy by hard means such as secretly funding a coup or supporting insurrectionists, they have so many leverage, from economic ones, to being in control of our youths through the selling of Western lifestyles, to media, to telling us what we want to hear especially if what we want to hear agravates existing tensions. Mischief makers want to hear that Bokoharam is kicking Nigeria military ass and that military is hiding one thing or another in order to hide the fact and in short time the West is there to support those claims. It's like Nigeria's missing stolen Billions. Where are our stolen Billions if not thrillions?? They in the West knew full well that embezzling past leaders like Abatcha never actually stole the sums that Nigerians, in our typical ways of exaggerating for effect, claim they stole, but they supported anyway, even adding salt and pepper of thire own. But now the chicken has come home to roost and they are being asked by Nigeria to return our Billions. Where is all the money!? They can't cough up because no such huge some were stashed abroad in the first place. what is this one saying now is it news that we have a useless gov't in Aso rock? "selling of western lifestyle" wwhat does that even have to do with anything? Africans are self destructive foreign powers only act as catalysts whenever the opportunity presents itself |

Boko Haram is a self inflicted wound If successive govts had invested inits people up north, and improved standards of living, religious fundamentalism and a large army of willing hands to die in the name of "Allah" would not have crept in.... pimper24: It is reaching an alarming crescendo as US Visa authorities deny visas to numerous Nigerian applicants. The applicants who were subjected to thorough scrutiny and at times rigorous questions that one would tag irrelevant narrate their ordeals. The surprising thing is that most of these applicants are regular visitors amongst whom is a professor that had even visited severally on official assignment and with his two sons legally residing in the most powerful nation. Some of the questions include where the applicant has resided and activities in the past 15 years and also documents to support such answers or claims. Previous international trips are also faced with such questions as why the applicant visited neighboring countries or cities different from the ones billed for in a visa; contacts made during such visits and stop-overs. Questions also includes how long aircrafts spent on stop overs during transits in such journeys. Answers to these questions are either regarded as insufficient or lacking in documentation. Many applicants were asked to apply again in the coming year. it's the Trump effect make no mistake about that.... It's clear what he is up to and what he stands for And the embassy and consulates are reflecting that It's high time Nigerians themselves desist from applying there are dozens of other countries to go to Let America be |

Quit reciting our history, we know it. Apartheid or not we still had a far better standard of living than y'all and we still do.
White people can come to Nigeria and torture and re-colonise you today because of your inferiority complex towards them, heck even the Libyans were selling you as slaves just last year, what can stop white people? judging by the comments of how many? Nigeria is a big country And that comparisons you are making Makes no sense will I then conclude that all south Africans are silly because you made a silly remark? Libyans are selling sub Saharan migrants to Europe IN LIBYA how does that compare to white folks treating black south Africans as inferior animal jokes of humanity, making them suffer so much that the trauma of that suffering is still being passed genetically to your descendants? no basis whatsoever I actually pity you guys let us see the people who want to recolonise Nigerians again onye asai di ka gi I hate making comments like these but you guys keep forcing my hand |

TheEminentLaity: Canada is better in my opinion and since you speak English and French you'll be as Canadian as Celine Dion. The EE allows you almost full status and rights as a citizen and it is a much better country to live in, for raising or relocating your family. The Canadian EE gives you the equivalent of a US Green Card and unless you have a minimum of $500k to $1m (heard Trump's administration increased it to ) to invest in the US, you're only going to get a US visa at best which limits you legally. What you do illegally is between you and ICE until you change status.
All the best! but if you go yankee no follow Akata o thanks a lot I've been reading and making my research on EE sha And I used to dream that I'll raise $500k for investment (EB5 ) But it is a tall order I will most likely get EE in future Canada kpali no go bad at all |

TheEminentLaity: Don't forget that the thread is about Nigerian migrants going to the US. Your experience is not that relevant to the theme. I have also met a number of decent ones in professional circles and trust they are many, we see them on TV as well, but the majority in the US which the illegal migrants from Nigeria may experience, are the issue here; and the truth is even those AAs avoid the Akatas (I differentiate them)
Besides, let's not pretend like profiling is extraneous concept shall we? We as Nigerians, until we start using our second passports, are subjected to extra vetting, checks and visa hurdles when travelling but even so Akata way still dey burst our medulla some of us never see that kind lifestyle before
And it is not about being better or worse than them but I take offence being grouped with them having lived in the US, even though I'm sort of a lone ranger type of dude that would rather deal with individuals. Na as you bundle us together wey bring talk, I was talking about US and Europe before you bring Akata matter inside. But still me and my people no be like them, our values are so different. You don't have to like it but it's true. owww I see I will most likely be moving to Canada /U.S. in the next two years plus..... the sort of business I do tho it's somewhat lucrative, is not what I'll do for the long term may be ill try this express entry thing my French and English is very very good That should count.... And I see what you did there differentiating between AA and Akata if that is the case then you have an argument Besides, let's not pretend like profiling is extraneous concept shall we? We as Nigerians, until we start using our second passports, are subjected to extra vetting, checks and visa hurdles when travelling but even so Akata way still dey burst our medulla some of us never see that kind lifestyle before about this.... to use this naija passport don tire me my last trip to Istanbul was just more reason why I have to move to Canada ASAP two years getting the passport there is not so difficult |

I have seen first hand an older mum staying with her daughter but she must pay part of rent and bills . God forbid my mum comes to stay with me and she will be paying part of the rent. I have seen a lady throw her mum out in the cold cos they have a misunderstanding . I always laugh when they talk about their uncle and aunty cos within me i know when the time comes reverse is the case.
I have said this before i was at Missouri some months ago and i drove to an all white county, i went to a nearby walmart and it was very decent, the next day i drove to a county dominated by black, i went to the walmart an lo and behold i saw policement all round, sagging thugs, weird people it was a mess. My question is cant these peeps just act like a normal human being? lmao But let us think about this for a second tho You cannot discount their history and the effects it has had this is not making excuses for them this is just the fact And it leads me back to the mental defeat i have been saying since your Destiny is in your own hands despite what has happened or did not happen (be it jim crow or slavery) your destiny is in your own hands only if many of them can realise that those who have amongst them have done better for themselves |
