nnenna.1: Tolexander: seun said that? Yes he did! Although he replaced the 'dckk' word with 'joystick'. Btw, why are you guys surprised he said that? He's just as human as you and I; not a stereo-typed computer geek with zero social life. Now, back to the cannabis; we need to rename the weed from 'igbo' to 'yoruba', what do you think?? 31 Likes |

PapaBrowne: Smh! If our past presidents have this kind of shrewd mentality, we wouldn't have had four (4) functional refineries, ajeokuta steel mill, eleme petrochemicals, onne fertilizer plant etc. Damn, we wouldn't have had 3rd mainland bridge, onitsha bridge and so on. The private sector is mostly not interested in investing in the country mostly because you can't guarantee them adequate power supply. Tell me how GEJ has provided the enabling environment? By blowing hot air that he would fix the power sector? 3yrs later, where are we? About to fix! The Nigerian environment is not business friendly, and GEJ is not doing much to improve on it. All the 9 refineries at Egypt is owned by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation. They are still run and maintained by their government which is not relying on private enterprise to come and run their economy. Let your Gej keep running around the whole continent 'begging' people to come and invest in the country. They will sure be having a nice laugh at him. You don't lure private enterprises by kissing their a'r'se; you lure them by providing basic facilities like power, efficient transport system, security. The few that invested already are having a hard time keeping track of the oil they drill; all because your GEJ has empowered militants like tampolo to legally steal oil in the creeks. Don't quote me again if you have nothing meaningful to discuss. #team-ar-s-e-lickers# 3 Likes |

billante: Dude, did your post above in any way contradict the fact that the presidency has no plans of either building new fertilizer factory or reviving the moribund one? Thank God for the few private individuals that still has the interest of this country at heart by making plans to build factories. If left for the FG, we will keep importing and importing; even toothpicks. You would expect a country of over 160mil people to have more than 6 functional fertilizer plants and not rely totally on private firms to build them. #team a-rs-e-lickers# |

kutchs: Its understandable that you would rejoice at crumbs being thrown at you. I was just trying to show you the bigger picture; the one that will allow you to buy fertilizer much cheaper than the subsidized price because it is locally produced. The one that will diversify our economy, make us produce more and consume less. But you prefer the crumbs being thrown at you! #team-a-r-se-lickers# 1 Like |

kutchs: I can see how myopic you guys now are! You are praising the scheme that subsidizes fertilizer Seriously Are you kidding me? We have abundance of potassium, phosphorus and sodium in this country yet we don't have a single fertilizer plant that can manufacture fertilizer. Onne fertilizer plant at Federal ocean terminal, Onne, Rivers state has shut down for over decades now and can't be revived! Do you know how many youths a fertilizer company can employ? From the mining of the raw material, to processing, to production, to storage, to marketing etc; do you have any idea how many people can be employed both directly and indirectly from a single fertilizer plant? They import and subsidize it for you and you're here licking their a-r-s-e!!! Poor lads with impoverished brain cells! 1 Like |

Another reason why prostitution should be legalized. At least, let it be directly under the portfolio of the Ministry of Women affairs; who will ensure that no under-aged girl will be licensed to practice the trade. 1 Like |

I don't know if this SAN of a lawyer was just hired because of this case; if he has always been chdid's lawyer, he did a lousy job. As a SAN, he should have filed for a restraint from the police which would have prevented the police from inviting his client in the first place. A SAN will definitely have a pal among the magistrates of the high court at ph that will easily give a restraining order according to the Legislative House Act. But he waited until his client was kept in custody before reacting. Chidi did nothing wrong; he tried to protect the constitution according to the oath he took. His actions are protected by immunity and he CANNOT be protected. Moreover, isn't there a police station at Rivers state? Why did he allow his client travel down to Abuja? Those at Abuja have no jurisdiction over this case at all! What sort of SAN is this? 2 Likes |

The police PRO was wise enough to avoid responding to the question of them detaining him. They can't detain him without charging him to court, and since theirs nothing to charge him with, he had to avoid the question. He's as free as a free man. Bipi should be charged for treason. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Chidi Lloyd Detained By Police In Rivers by ujchief(m): 4:30pm On Jul 24, 2013 |
Waiting seriously to see what they charge him with. Bunch of biased police officers, dancing to the gallery of the executive. Why didn't they invite Bipi and his bunch of touts that infested the house firstly? ACTION and REACTION are EQUAL and OPPOSITE! Thank God that the Gaya led committee resolved that the president is behind the rift, supporting a minority of 5 that wanted to overthrow the house leadership and had also recommended that the police commissioner should leave. Two cannot work together unless they agree, and since its obvious that the governor and the police boss don't agree, the one that is not elected has to leave. 2 Likes |

Nairaland / General / Re: A Petition To Seun by ujchief(m): 9:32pm On Jul 20, 2013 |
This thread is a huge success and has achieved its aim. I've been in Nl long enough to know how seun acts, so don't think he will swing into action immediately. He likes protecting his mods, and even when they are wrong like in this particular case, they will receive a warning. Its not like he is paying them, so they are actually doing him a favor. He has seen this thread even before it got to its second page. Mynd will remain a mod, but must have been cautioned to review his ways. Two new mods will certainly be introduced since the section is becoming more volatile. Its obvious that if he calls for a vote for a new mod from the stakeholders, it might degenerate to a near fight as witnessed in this thread, and as also witnessed years back when mukina started a thread for election of new mod at the Romance section which saw supporters of sexkillz and those of 190 almost tearing each other's neck; so he will definitely appoint and impose; just like he brought in mynd when cuddle resigned. Apart from all that I mentioned, don't expect anything from seun. He has seen the thread, r231 is a mod here and must have informed him long ago. Once again, this thread is a huge success. |
Politics / Re: Group Scores President Jonathan’s Administration Low. A Must Read !!!!! by ujchief(m): 7:22pm On Jul 20, 2013 |
Sincere 9gerian: The group began from an obviously biased point by stating: Why do you find the phrase derogatory? Afterall, the government have been going on the media advertising what they termed "uncommon transformation". It is these "uncommon transformation" that the panel called 'unusual' in their report. It is not an unknown phenomena that you avoid the truth and chase shadows. Instead of deliberating on the points raised by this panel of refined gentlemen of impeccable standard, you are chasing shadows. 2 Likes |
