Above is the update on the stadium As at september 27th. the project is comming along nicely as julius berger is doing a fine job as usual.

Kids are confused as thier schools have been demolished and some merged, kids have to walk long distances to their newly assigned schools. boys are being sent to hitherto girls schools and vice versa, schools have been demolished without adequate provision of new accomodations. so far only one mega school has been completed in 3 yrs.

At the moment teachers,parents and students are confused as to what their fate will be.

Rauf has also intoduced the study of Ifa ie how to become a babalawo into osun schools curriculum.

OP we need a source for your news cos ur post is contrdictory. How many tank farms is OUK building? your post suggest 2 one in his village and another At Ikot Abasi?

If this was Tinubu, you all would have been screaming 'Money stolen from Lagos' but I guess OUK who left his state impoverished and handed over to a worse successor is better than BAT who developed a prosperous state which you're all flocking into

not holding brief for ouk, but i believe Slok group was in existence before he ever became governor of Abia state and he was already a millioniare b/4 being governor. What was tinubus bussiness venture b/4 being governor

being gov. may have boosted OUKs estate/investments, but lets be objective while criticizing.

If he brings investment and employs/ puts Nigerian youths to work this might just absolve him of his crimes if he committed any,investing @home may just be his "indulgence" for his crimes/ looting of public funds ie if he did it! innocent until proven guilty, the same mantra that ACN chants for tinubu lol

Am liking this OUK should consider building a refinery, nigeria needs refinery not just tank farms to store imported PMS. I would like to c nigerian refined PMS filling that tank farm.

But this is good any investment is better than non. Nigerians must think about investing at home, this will create jobs for fellow nigerian. and boost the economy.
Slok group is heavily involved in PMS shipping and importation/transportation. this will boost/ increase traffic around the ibaka seaport.and improve shipping in AKS.

on the whole this is good development, How about the Akwa ibom govt. house built by berger? looks really cool.

This were part of events marking the celebration of the 26th anniversary of the state.

Projects commissioned to mark the State 26th Anniversary:


1)Akpabio commissions 2 brand new general hospitals to complete the 5 new general hospitals that his Administration has built since inception, these were the 5 local government areas that did not have general hospitals,bringing the number of general hospitals in the state to 31. the newly commisioned ones are IKA general @ Ika local govt area and Okoroete general hospital in eastern Obolo LGA.

Its important to note that the state is also building a 290 bed specialist hospital tagged 20th anniversary hospital @ Ekit Itam within the uyo capital city and that construction has reached advanced stage.this is expected to complement/act as a referral hospital for all the hospitals in the state on specialty medical services.

2) commissioning of a VIP guest house in the government house Uyo, built by Julius Berger.

3) Commisioning of about 8km road network withing Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Ikot osurua.

4) commissioning of Abia - ikot etefia road in Mkpat enin LGA constructed by Setraco.
