sexkillz: And it takes you 60 seconds to determine all that?
You introduced the 60secs time frame not moi mister. I need longer than that to place a dude in any of the categories.
But i'll agree with u on the hostility towards someone not liked at first glance or someone you haven't initially formed an opinion about but who eventually becomes plain annoying smiley

Matthew briggs: I dig your analysis, I think I need to relax, cut her some slack and try to see the world from her perspective. She is a refined young lady, pretty and with good character and hence has got several admirers. I think she needs to take more time to decide cos I don't need an emotional wreck. My only concern is that I might move on, I hate prolonged suspense it irks me.
If you don't see the tables tilting on your favour, then by all means move on. I think every sensible woman nurses the thought that a man who has shown interest has the tendency to drift off if stalled for too long smiley
you forget that the best way to know someone is to get close to the person not playing some silly childish games.

You can take time to think about it but that does not help you know about the guy at all. It only leaves you speculating and puts you in more dangerous
That's why some ask you to be their friend instead
...but then you complain she just friend zoned you. Or do u suggest she gets into a relationship with you first and then figure out if you're worth ithuh Wat happens when she decides u aint? can she break up peacefully without getting the 'you played with my emotions' slogan? undecided
Romance › Re: Playing hard To Get Is It Necessary? by UjSizzle(f): 10:56am On Sep 10, 2013
sexkillz: Long story cut short. A girl who likes you already does so within the first 60 seconds of setting her eyes on you. Her playing "hard to get" depends on the time frame it has taken from the moment she set her eyes on you, to the moment you approach her, in some cases, cos she could accuse you of being hard to get fro ignoring her initial "sign".

A girl who likes you will not waste your time. You will see it in her eyes and in her demeanour around you, except you are a dull, aka, a learner.

A girl who wastes your time doesn't really like you, neither does she dislike you. She is just waiting for an action you'll take that will finally tilt her towards "like" or "unlike" for you. So she plays "hard to get".

The one that doesn't like you at all will treat you with disdain from get go.

The ones with the problem are those that don't know what they want. They can't say yes, they can't say no. Always looking for a sign to say yes or no, and when the sign finally comes, the guy's ministry could already be on it's way to the permanent site!

There's nothing like knowing what you want and going for it! Praise tha lord.

A girl may like you but still not find you a suitable date material in 60secs undecided

Still......Amen grin

Caracta: If a girl is 'forming' for you, leave her and move on to the next one. Chikena! As simple as Polynomials!
Funny enough, it's not as if some men don't toast more than one girl at once hoping that one deal will click for them undecided

Romance › Re: Playing hard To Get Is It Necessary? by UjSizzle(f): 10:35am On Sep 10, 2013
Note I said woman. We all say first impression don't matter but actually it does. If you talk to someone for an hour, a woman(not girl) would be able to find out a lot about that man except of course she choose to push her nose up and not listen to him or she is trying to find out what tags he is wearing or how much he is worth.

You will be able to see if he is confident, you will see how intelligent he is from the way he replies you and you will know if he is comical if he tries to input jokes, you will know all these from the first convo. The whole, "I will think about it" is whatwomen do to grease their ego and make themselves feel wanted
Friend material and relationship meterial aint the same thing bro esp for a woman who thinks longterm.
Romance › Re: Playing hard To Get Is It Necessary? by UjSizzle(f): 10:31am On Sep 10, 2013
Men are like sales rep or marketers looking for a particular customer to show interest in their product.
A woman has many admirers who all want one thing. Now there may be a couple of them she likes already, but that doesn't mean she can jump into a relationship with either of them until she's certain it's worth her while.
That's where the 'thinking' comes in. She needs to weigh the pros and cons of each individual before settling for one.

Guys take their time to study a girl before deciding she's worth claiming...i think you should give her as much time too to make up her mind about you smiley unless you've decided you can handle an emotional wreck then by all means feel free to rush her. Just remember some people are quicker at processing new developments and their emotions than others.
If you think she's worth it all, then please wait for her.

esere826: I agree with most of your arguments
altough my arguments is light entertainment ,
it however does not remove the nevertheless important point that there just might be some subtle autosuggestions that we are not aware of

For example,
how does your kid define good and evil?
what is the frame of reference for these things?
Do you know some kids think that black is evil? and that good (white) will always triumph over evil?
(hope u get the point)

.......Remember its a light argument, and not one to bring out the big guns for
I get your point. As regards autosuggestions you mentioned, I think it has a lot more to do with how our kids interpret what they see. Cartoons have been made in the past with the bad guys looking ugly and the good ones beautiful, or the bad dressed in black and the good in white or bright colors: these imo are supposed to reflect the 'souls' of the characters, but of course children don't always get that, but they will just like I did. At some point, they'll sit and put the pieces of everything they've been taught and everything they've watched together and they'll figure it out. Which is exactly why parents need to start teaching their kids a lil deductive reasoning.

My point is: beauty is in the soul, and so is evil. Cartoon characters make this visual for children since their little mind can't comprehend what adults can yet.

Maybe parents are overreacting with the fairytales. Allow the children grow up with them and teach them what they need to know...they'll fill in the pieces later smiley

Education › Re: Should Universities Regulate The Dressing Of Students? by UjSizzle(f): 3:19pm On Sep 09, 2013
To an extent, i'm fine with it. The university award degrees in both character and learning, it's expected they try to curb the level of nudity and indecency among the youths. However, i'm not comfortable with the extent some schools are taking this...it's just typical of Nigerians to overdo everything undecided.
