Is that mumu one smiling for the camera You can't even act to save your life. These people should be wearing sober looks while pleading with the family of late Dr Giwa for mercy and they're smiling?! Rubbish. Just go inside your houses and stop making a fool of yourselves forming solidarity. |

MISSCONGENIALITY: The same bracket me mean in terms of Era or works. Cos amongst them all, Aristotle had the greatest works, followed by Plato even though plato was kind putting down Socrates views into wirting since Socrates didn't write. Plato was Socrates' mouth piece. Because writing made people mentally lazy I still like the Socratic style of teaching though. Great men |

Refusing to be the president of Israel was quite admirable. I cannot think of any Nigerian who would own up to lacking the necessary skills needed to rule a nation. |

ElDaIllest: UjSizzle and mkmyers45 are the science and technology section moderators don't know if the left lala to do the work all alone A good portion of what is done here is based on personal judgement, so if you have a topic you think should make homepage, mention a mod and we'll put it up in the suggestion thread (and let the supermods decide if it's homepage worthy.) That will be a lot more effective than the utterly unnecessary conversation you're having now. |

She used to deny me sex before I married her saying she was saving herself for marriage but she was lying. If these were her exact words then there's no lie here. She didn't explicitly state she was a virgin; she said she was keeping herself for marriage. *shrug* |

The bank charges are becoming exorbitant. What exactly are we gaining from banking our cash aside security from armed robbers? Now we have to deal with the intellectually armed governing the banking industry. It is well o. We might as well go back to keeping our monies in our socks |

Feraz: I couldn't solve it. Looked up solutions online and it turns out I have to hard reset (something I have already ruled out since the inception of the problem). So I think I'll wait till the final version is out, then I'll reinstall it. Got it January 2 this year. When my phone had the same issue over an update, I had to let it reboot itself (I think overheating helped with that.) Afterwards I just realized the thing updated when the WiFi connection was strong enough-- or the phone's wahala probably ended itself. Meanwhile I've been looking at photos taken with the Lumia 950 and 950xl on instagram and I'm droooooling Colour? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Photo Of Teenager Praying For Homeless Man Goes Viral by UjSizzle(f): 2:56pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
MizMyColi: This isn't about Christianity Bro.
This is what LIFE and LIVING is all about - LOVE.
When we begin to see others as an extension of ourselves, down to the "maddest man" on your street, planet earth, and our country, - our individual lives would be better for it.
We are not meant to be like God. We are meant to BE GOD.
That's the only way to end humanity's suffering. I beg to disagree. It IS about Christianity and like followers of Christ it is about love. Any other person could have given him food or clothing or shelter, but the young man prayed to a heavenly father-- that makes it an act of love and more important and Christian act of love. And I doubt we can be God. We are not meant to be God. We are made to be an extension of His love on earth. Becoming or wanting to become God is tantamount to what Lucifer did. It takes away your trust and dependence on his gift and grace and places your means of sustenance in your hands. That is not what Christianity is about. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Photo Of Teenager Praying For Homeless Man Goes Viral by UjSizzle(f): 2:47pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
Seun: I'm sure that many people have prayed quietly for this homeless man as they walked past him. This boy just did it in a more photogenic way.
Actually, it hurts because it gives people the satisfaction of feeling that they have done something to help, whereas they haven't. Seun Osewa, public prayer or private prayer, his actions will encourage those people who have never said a prayer for the homeless, even in secret, to start now. |
