I am so surprise at this thread. I would say its not true at all what is being said here concerning 2.2.
Only weak Nigerian Banks would dicriminate against a 2.2 during recruitment and then some entry level positions in Higher institutions and also some scholarship grants. Infact i have a 2.2 and i have been changing federal government jobs anyhow. No one has ever question my suitability for a job cos of my 2.2. Infact, i lost a Nigerian Brewery Job having succeeded to d end cos they found out that i had an M.Sc. It was strictly for 2.1 and 2.2.
I dont want to go on writing, but 2.2 has never been so downgraded as to be soliciting such writeups to give them hope and all of that. What becomes of 3rd class holders?

Where do we go from here people? cos senators fat salary n allowance date back to OBJ era. The senators as at date time insisted that their house allowance must be 5m which obj objected but they later force their way to collect the 5 million as housing allowance.

People sud know that, GEJ is not the primary cos of our problems in this country. In a presidential sys of govt where his of the aims do not have absolute power over the other will always make things difficult for each other. The executive aim neither the judiciary has no power to fixe the salaries of the legislature but is been done by a body responsible for fixing the salary n retirement benefit of all the aims of govt. The FRMC as just increased the salary n allowances of public office holders with the excuse of inflation n current bad econ realities on ground warranted the increase of the remunerations of the office holders.

Kai.. I am very pained by this.. U mean while we are advocating for a reduction, their wages have been increased again? Why are d labour leaders not calling for workers revolution? Why?
Labour leaders have sold us out.
Meanwhile the RMFC shud tell us d formula used and why all workers in Nig shud not have a proportionate increase. Why shud that commission not be probed?
