tensazangetsu20:FlutterWave, BuyCoins, PayStack and so many others are all registered in the US. Nigga kills startups easily, take a look at Gokada, and Opay and how they died out. |
sweetmelanin:His pay boils down to his negotiation ability, his stack, skill level and year's of experience. |
maternal:Honestly, that opinion is just crazy. The startup may fail due to the economic situation of the country, and those properties may never be sold off, or even loose value with time due to the rate the Naira is falling. |
confusedmind1:I feel I have an idea who this is? Well, here is my own opinion. I think with the current economic situation you should leave besides what are the chances of your startup survival? If you move to CA, you stand a better chance of saving from your pay and come back later on to launch your startup. You can also meet VCs and Angels who would be willing to take the risk and invest. The good thing is you have achieved all this while holding a Canadian PR, which in turn guarantees your future generations a better life. If you feel you idea is solid though and all things being equal, your startup will scale then you can stay back otherwise FLEE. |
helinues:So, they shouldn't talk of the environmental pollution going on in the Niger Delta and its effect. If the report had anything to do with the SW, you would have been acting like an animal, on the Internet but since its another regions issue it shouldn't make the news. BIAS DOUBLE-STANDARD ANIMAL. |
Biodun556:Why drag Journalist into this? They are called all sort of names and brutalised for exposing a corrupt system. What is your profession? Is it a honorable one, that is for the good of humanity. |
youngmonie:Stop pointing fingers without facts, China has a vaccine that is currently being used in the UAE and it works very well, so why would they want to steal from the West? Same applies to Russia that has vaccinated over 2 million of their population with their SPUTNIK V. |

GodSaklek:Russia's SPUTNIK V vaccine works, so why would they want to steal from the West? |
PopSmoke:Not defending the reckless and dictatorial government but I think the equivalent of the DSS is the FBI, and the NIA is the equivalent of the CIA. |
Never4getU:What does this have to do with intelligence? |
blackpanda:He is correct though, in the case of El-Rufai vs NASS in the early 2000s, when Nasir El-Rufai was the then Minister of FCT. The court made it known in its ruling that the NASS has the power to summon anybody on Nigerian soil including the President or a visiting President. |
rossniti:Your claims that 80% of the respondents choose Nigeria is very wrong. Only around 40% to 45% choose Nigeria, the rest were either clueless or choose Kenya, SA, Morocco, or Ghana. Secondly, you either have an inferiority complex or you're trying hard to launder Nigeria's damaged image. Why would you need validation from any other person in the world? Must people from other parts of the world like Nigeria? The China you see, and admire today isolated itself from the world to become what it is, so stop seeking cheap and unnecessary validation. |

rossniti:Why has he not made Forbes yet? The Nigerian likes tagging every rich man a billionaire when they don't understand the meaning of the word. |
An interesting article by the author, indeed culture must be protected and preserved at all cost, it remains our main form of identity. |
What is the relationship between private varsities and ASUU? This is what happens, when old uninterested fellows hold positions of leadership in an association like NANS. On a second thought this fool thinks private varsities will pay him not to disrupt learning process, he thinks this is the FG that will always bribe people. He should try whatever, he wants to do and spend some days in jail cooling off. |
Hamiltonii:Look at this one , who do you know is a "sisi", or you just heard the word? |
I knew this was never going to happen. |
helinues:Understand the metric used in the calculation. |
Kyase:Find out the metrics to it before complaining. A country with over 200 million people that doesn't have up to 50 percent of that population educated shouldn't make the list, and not by the number of people in a country. |
I always knew the presidency had a trick up their sleeve to pull. Imagine an elected public office holder, defying a summon by the National Assembly. This is total disrespect for the institutions in Nigeria, yet they will except the citizens to obey the same institutions. |

Newboss:People climb that ladder in Nigeria with money and connection, so you don't necessarily have to do it the old-fashioned way. |
Newboss:You have no idea who I maybe in reality, so don't keep your thoughts so high. You don't need to climb the political ladder before you can be fit to rule a nation. |
blacknp: Then why are you complaining if you are innocent, sheepish clown. |
Newboss:Old men can be leaders and young people can, stop stereotyping. Young people have led various institutions in time past and they have prospered. |
It all started like as a joke to Khamenei, and the political elites in Tehran when they started making these kind of list, now look where they are. Maduro of Venezuela also underrated the list when his administration was listed there and boom sanctions hit them from various corners. Sudan had to pay lots of money and lobby to get out of these lists because economic sanctions followed not long after. Politicians in Nigeria will also take it as a joke as expected, they don't really understand the implication of making these list in the long run. They had better mend their ways if not things will get worse, and the people will have no choice than to revolt. |
blacknp:Homophobe, so being gay is now a major issue as compared to people being killed for their beliefs. |
Ilaumoh:There is freedom of speech outside Nigeria. |
A rare case of prey offering itself to its predator on a platter of gold. Nigeria knows that their little shoulder-rubbing with France over who should be the figure head in West Africa (mainly in countries colonised by France), and the Sahel (Sahel countries bordering Nigeria, that were colonised by France) will destroy her in the long run and is now trying to seek a level ground. A wise leader will take side with Turkey due to their rising influence in the Sahel, and in some parts of West Africa and use the rift between Turkey, and France to their advantage. Our leaders need to understand Geopolitics, you don't lend an age long enemy the hand of friendship so easily. |
