Kwankwaso who couldn't win his reelection in Kano in 2003 after his first term in 1999 is threatening Buhari. Lol

Buhari single-handedly brought an unknown Shekarau to defeat Kwankwaso in 2003. Kwankwaso had to align himself with Buhari in 2011 by printing his pictures alongside that of Buhari on his posters for him to win the election.

Buhari has never lost election in Kano State. Even when PDP rigged the polls (even the late Yar'adua confirmed that) in 2007, they couldn't still win Kano State then.

In 2011, Buhari even defeated a sitting Governor Shekarau in his own State of Kano. GEJ came a distant third in Kano then. Lest i forget, CPC was formed less than five months to the general elections yet he still had such number of votes in Kano and the entire Northwest plus four States in the Northeast.

Kwankwaso should not deceive himself. A bedridden Buhari would defeat a combined PDP candidacy of Atiku/Kwankwaso/Tambuwal/Saraki/Makarfi/Lamido/Dankwambo in Kano State.

Politics / Re: 25 Opposition Parties To Support APC Candidate In Bauchi South Bye-election by Unblockable: 5:47pm On Jul 28, 2018
Just like the way 25 opposition parties are ready to support the candidacy of the APC candidate now, that's how they would all queue behind Buhari in most of the Northern States come 2019.

I'm just laughing at those saying Buhari would lose. They haven't realized yet that elections are not won on the pages of newspaper or nairaland. If elections are won online, I believe Atiku should have been sworn in by now.

If election is conducted in Bauchi 100 times, Buhari would win 101 times. That's how popular he is in Bauchi State and other core Northern States.

OfficialAPCNig:

It seems you don't know who Kwankwaso is. He lost in 2003 election because of his staunch support for Obasanjo, a Christian, the opposition headed by Buhari's APP pulled both the tribal and religious card and OBJ rewarded
him with Defence Minister.

In 2011, he won re-election with just 62k votes. It was at that point he started building the Kwankwasiyya movement aggressively.

Buhari was only popular because of his staunch support for Sharia and Kano is Pro-sharia. Kwankwanso lost because of his support for Obasanjo who repeatedly worked against Sharia.

Buhari didn't make Shekarau Governor, he only rode on the existing sentiment against Kwankwanso then.

You forgot to add how Shekarau pursued Buhari from ANPP.

He won in 2007 because he had Shekarau as Governor, in 2011 the NEF backed him against a Christian candidate (GEJ) and in 2015 he won Kano because of Kwankwaso.

Ganduje can't stand Kwankwaso + Shekarau combo in 2019.

In 2011, the North saw GEJ as a common enemy and adopted Buhari as a consensus candidate which Shekarau rebelled against, so the people voted against him in the North and Kwankwanso took advantage of that to become Governor under PDP with just 62k votes.

If Buhari is that strong in Kano on his own why didn't he win the Kano Governorship election for his boy Lawan Jafaru?

The only time he ran against Shekarau, Kwankwaso, he got only 7.2% of the total votes. He only won Kano in the Presidential election because of the reason I already mention above.

Only Kwankwanso + Shekarau can clip his wings. The only time he went heads on against the two simultaneously, he left Kano with only 7.2%.

Saraki will bury him in Kwara. Tambuwal in Sokoto and Atiku in the entire NE with Danjuma.

Buhari only won because of the defection of nPDP, Atiku, not even Tinubu.

Remove the 5 Governors that defected, the upset that happened in the Middle belt, a merger of CPC and CAN wouldn't have won the election.

Example:

In 2007, ANPP + ACN = 9 Million
PDP = 25 Million

2011, CPC + ACN = 15 Million
PDP = 22 Million

But in 2015 even with the mergers, the upsets in the Middle belt and the nPDP defection, he only won with 3 million votes.

So if you discount all these, you would see a merger of just CPC + CAN wouldn't have won the 2015 election.

For you to even still quite the results of 2007 election shows you're biased. Even Yar'adua confirmed that the election was rigged in 2007. Still, Buhari was able to sweep the whole of Kano.

Buhari doesn't need the support of the Northern elites for him to win election in the North. He's a movement in the Northern region.

You claimed in the other thread that Saraki would deliver Kwara State for PDP with a margin of 500k which would thwart that of the Southwestern APC votes. That's laughable. As it stands now, Buhari cannot still win 11 out of the 13 core Northern State convincingly. Where was Atiku in 2007 when Buhari got all those votes? Atiku whose total votes at the APC primaries were nearly outnumbered by the void votes?

Shekarau pursued Buhari outta ANPP? Lol. When Buhari discovered he was gonna contest against him, he had to leave the party for him to avoid the imminent division that would see some party members aligning themselves with PDP. Why couldn't Shekarau win even an ANPP State back then in 2011? Buhari swept about eleven States in the North then.

BTW, why didn't you reply me on the other thread? Are you scared of setting the record straight?

Your messiah will lose foolishly here. You can't kill people and expect them to vote for you. Plateau is not Benue, they have more radical Christians than the entire MB. PDP will definitely play the religious card here.

Dream on. It is allowed. Voting for APC here is seen as a vote for Mayetti Allah. Akume is seen as a Meyatti Allah apologist. He would be retired next year permanently.

Last year IBB worked against Jonathan and he is the strongest politician in Niger. This is the first state in Nigeria to destroy Buhari's billboard. Use your head.

Stop taking that codeine.

If Bello, Buhari and INEC were unable to removed a shackled Melaye. I wonder what a walking Melaye would do to them.

FYI, Igbira and Igala don't rarely work together and again, the Igbiras don't like Bello.

Nasarawa is a Christian State, please be guided. Buhari is seen as an enemy of the Church.

I don't know who will win here. But if Buhari lost at the height of his popularity, I don't see him winning it now.

Do you know at the height of Buhari's popularity when many Yorubas unprecedentedly identified with him, he won SW with about 500k votes? Kwara alone under Saraki can neutralize that 500k.

When you talk about the Northwest, don't forget Shia moslems and Northern Christians voted massively for Buhari in 2015 but would be there for him again in 2019.

In NW, PDP have Makarfi, Lamido, Shema, Kwankwanso, Tambuwal, Shekarau, Tata, against Buhari and last election, they technically worked against Jonathan.

In the NE, they have Taraba, Gombe and Adamawa that will vote against Buhari, but last election, they voted massively for him. These forces will neutralize those of Pro-Buharis in the North East.

Finally, those he dubbed 5% (SS/SE) will bury Buhari.

Buhari is going home Perrrrriod!!!
[/s]

This is nothing but crap. Stop being sentimental and reason with your brain. It's not for fancy.

In 2015, Buhari didn't win Plateau State. He doesn't need to win it now for him to return to office 2019. In 2015, PDP had a sitting Governor in Plateau State yet Buhari was able to garner up to 45% of the votes there then. With a Minister from Plateau now, a sitting Governor, I don't see him securing less than 45% of the votes in Plateau.

For you to say Akume would be retired in Benue State politics means you know nothing. FYI, Akume was the minority leader in the 7th Senate meaning he won his seat as an opposition candidate in 2011 when Jonathan won the election in Benue. Even your new catch, Ortom had to kowtow to him for him to be made the Governorship candidate in 2015. With Ortom still I'm APC and the expected arrival of Suswam, Buhari would secure nothing less than 48% or even win Benue State. Suswam would contest against sleeping Senator Barnabas Gemade while Ortom is returning to the Senate so both of them would neutralize PDP's votes in Benue.

Again, who's IBB to stop Buhari's reelection in Niger State? IBB that was asked to step-down for Atiku during the PDP Presidential primaries in 2011? FYI, IBB is not a Fulani man and can hardly stop Buhari's reelection in Niger State.

Kogi is close to my State and most Kogi people I know are ready to vote (for) Buhari. They know the difference between Bello and Buhari. Presidential and National Assembly elections would hold the same day while Governorship would hold later that year. Tell me how their hatred for Bello would stop Buhari's reelection! Kogi would vote PDP so they can finally kill Ajaokuta steel? Laughable.

Kwara alone under Saraki can neutralize 500k votes? Seems you have to return to bed. With Fayose and Mimiko as sitting PDP Governors then, Buhari still won the SW save Ekiti State. Tell me how PDP is gonna defeat Buhari in the SW come next year without a known structure.

In 2011, neither Kwankwaso, Shekarau, Atiku, Tambuwal, Lamido, Makarfi, nor Shema was supporting Buhari yet he won in the entire Northwest and four States in the Northeast and securing about 12m votes. So why does he need them now to win in 2019? Lest I forget, Buhari formed CPC less than five months to the general elections then.

For you to say Buhari would lose election in Gombe State means you don't know anything about politics - I advise you go to the romance section where your input would be greatly appreciated.

Politics / I Defeated Saraki, Kwankwaso, Others In Online Poll — Atiku by Unblockable: 12:03am On Jul 26, 2018
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said he defeated Senate President Bukola Saraki, former governor of Kano State, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in an online poll conducted by popular blogger, Japheth Omojuwa.

Atiku who is seeking the ticket of the PDP ahead of the 2019 ‎general elections said in a statement on Wednesday by his Media Office that ‎the poll was conducted in the wake of mass defection of APC members to the PDP including those eyeing the opposition's presidential ticket.

"In the Twitter online poll which ended on Tuesday, Atiku Abubakar polled 42 per cent compared to Saraki’s 37 per centand Kwankwaso’s 15 per cent with the other candidates settling for 6 per centof the votes.

"The poll was conducted on the heels of the defections of a sizeable number of Senators and members of the House of Representatives from the ruling APC to the PDP ostensibly to gauge the popularity of the defectors with presidential ambition versus Atiku as far as the PDP ticket is concerned."

"Kwankwaso, who is known to have presidential aspiration decamped to the PDP on Tuesday along with several others. However, Saraki has not defected to the opposition party though there are indications that he will follow suit. Atiku had earlier in December of 2017 rejoined the PDP, a party he had helped found at inception in 1998.

"Voters were asked: ‘Who will emerge the PDP candidate for 2019?' The choices were listed as Bukola Saraki, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Other (Reply with name).

"This is one in a series of polls in which Atiku has come out tops. In a massive online poll that attracted almost 30,000 votes, Atiku vanquished President Muhammadu Buhari and other likely PDP contenders – Governors Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo and Aminu Tambuwal of Gombe and Sokoto states respectively. The poll was conducted by Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.

"In answer to the question ‘If the 2019 Nigerian Presidential election were to hold today and the candidates are as below, who would you vote for?’, 44% said they would vote for Atiku Abubakar. This compares to 31% for President Buhari, 17% for Dankwambo and 8% for Tambuwal.

"This result is also consistent with a number of recent polls, including those done by well known supporters of President Buhari, who had following the third anniversary of the administration on May 29 initiated polls ostensibly to test the popularity of the incumbent President," the statement said.

Please I want to know if a Senator like Isa Misau can win his Senatorial election in Bauchi State under PDP the same day Buhari is on the ballot for the Presidency?

Please can Kwankwaso who as a sitting governor lost to Buhari's candidate during the 2003 governorship election win a Senatorial election the same day Buhari is on the ballot contesting for the Presidential election in Kano State?

Why do you think Senators like Shehu Sani and Hunkuyi refused to decamp when others were doing? They know what awaits them in Kaduna State if they do. They'd rather negotiate with APC than mortgage their political career/future.

I just dey laugh first.

In all Buhari will need more police and the military to intimidate voters in order to retain his seat.

You clearly don't know anything.

This is massive.

I'm just laughing at those celebrating Timi Frank's tales by moonlight. 2019 would shock them.

Buhari is sweeping the entire Northwest and Northeast States safe Taraba Sate. He only needs about three States in the Middle Belt. With the demise of PDP in Ekiti State, it is safe to say PDP is dead in the Southwest so it's a win-win for Buhari. He would easily get 45% of votes (or even win) in Edo State.

Votes were allocated to PDP in Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States in 2015. That won't happen in 2015. Buhari would sure have up to 40% of votes in most of these States come February. As for Imo, he would also get 40%. By the time Ebonyi State Governor decamps, it would be audible to the deaf that Buhari has won.

Finally, how does PDP intend to defeat Buhari in February without a serious Presidential aspirant yet? They should keep deceiving themselves.
