They should mind their utterances

The Change we need cannot be given by hypocrites and all past criminals.
Never have I seen a political party happy with the terrorism in the country and even to the extent of using it to campaign for Power.

Nigerians need Change that's true but when that change is coming from hypocrites.

Transformation is always the best option to vie for.

GEJ till a better candidate emerges
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm! Prophecy or prediction.

I didn't know somebody would bring up this issue of contract staff.

In those days, our forefathers were carted away across the atlantic to work as slaves on sugar-cane plantations, these days, you don't need to be carted away by the whites to be slaves on plantations in brazil or Bolivia or America. Right in Nigeria. Right in our father land, we are "Modern Day Wage Slaves"..

How can you explain a staff with a university degree and an NYSC certificate gets paid say 180k and then u employ a graduate with same NYSC certificate and pay such person 60k and say he's a contract staff!

What differentiates a contract staff from a full staff? I really want to know.

This is not just bondage but Slavery.

As an unemployed graduate u are entitled to Some sort of social security, before u get on any payroll, but today in nigeria, that's not the case.

GEJ must Go.

Sai Buhari 2015
Sir, is the unemployment situation better now for graduates?

Comments ungrateful to God? do explain. Are you sure you cannot relate the party with blood sucking demons? For answers, listen to the news and calculate the number of people that have died this year alone as a result of poor handling of security.
Sir, are Nigerians safer now than in 2014?

If you press beside umblellla with your thumb, you are fortifying your bondage
But a particular ethnic group are willing to fortify poverty, hunger, joblessness, nepotism, tyranny, intimidation, disobedience to court orders, killings, blame game, divisions. etc just because they have been promised that their kinsman will be president by 2023!

Are things better or worse now Sir? Most who claimed they voted for change are showing their true colours: they actually voted for ethnicity. Even if Nigerians are in greater economic hardship and peoples lives are being wasted under the watchful eyes of this government of 'change' they don't care. Nigeria can keep on burning down. All that matters to them is that their own tribesman becomes president in 2023!

Dear Akon419, believe it or not, Nigerians are living in BONDAGE, at least economically.
While politicians have a way of deceiving the people, as that can be testified to, when Obasanjo was canvasing for votes back then in 1999.
If you still don't believe we live in bondage, how do you explain the reason Nigerians are employed as CONTRACT WORKERS without benefits right in their fatherland?
Yet they can be 'flushed-out' at the slightest excuse.
To be candid, Nigerians ought to have been on social security by now going by huge amounts being wasted on practically everything.
Is Nigeria better economically now than in 2014? I expect to read the now archaic phrase, "the past government is responsible" blame game.

One of the few preachers that hasn't diluted the word of God. One good thing I like about deeper life is many of them practice what they preach except a few.
You are quite right. May the Lord help us to be among those who are doers of the word, not preachers or hearers alone.

I am not a journalist, but I don't think our journalist are doing a good work. Assuming this was from a foreign journalist this story will most certainly inlude;

1 what the pastor said (stated in the article)
2 the background of why he said it ( not in the article)
3 some summary on the church (not in the article)

All our news media are guilty of these. Perhaps it's the rush to break the news.

Point of correction Sir. The Retreat is not to commemorate Christmas. That is why it is called December, not Christmas Retreat. Thank you.

Are you saying a VP of 8 years had no control over certain aspect of the economy? Are you saying such a person had no control over the extra judicial/ethnic/religious killings? Ok I accept Buhari has failed, must we recycle another past leader? Is the solution to failure adding more failure?
Friend, there is only one President and Commander -in-chief at a time. The Vice President only does what the president allows him to do otherwise there would be clashes which would be detrimental to the interest of the Vice President. That is why there are usually radical political and ideological changes when a former Vice President becomes a substantive or even acting President. In this regard, we can only judge Atiku by his performance if elected and sworn in as President. Complements of the season.

ok....

as I stated earlier --nobody will put a chain on your neck and drag you to the polls..whomever you vote for is your constitutional right.

Prof can say what he likes, and as a APC member he would certainly ask 'his followers' to vote for his party so 'we' can claim the 2013 ticket.

happy xmas.
You are still missing the point. No one says that the Vice President should not campaign for his party. But as the Vice President of Nigeria, I think it is demeaning for him to ask people to vote purely on ethnic lines. IMO, it is base, primordial and divisive. In order words, Nigerians outside Yoruba land who believe the Vice President is competent should not vote for his party because they are not Yorubas. On what basis then should the Hausas, Igbos, Fulanis, Tivs, Ibibios, Ijaws, Kanuris, Urhobos, Idomas, Igalas, Nupes, Biroms, Ebiras, etc vote for his party? Are you implying that 'his followers' are only from the Southwest? If that is the case, he is the Vice President of the Southwest, whereas his position is a national, not sectional one. Compliments of the season.

You are being ignorantly subjective - he is probably better educated than your whole family put together
That is not the point Sir. You accused me of being 'ignorantly subjective' but could not substantiate, only to resort to hatred and ignorance induced insults. I don't blame you Sir, since you have been defeated and know not what else to say. "By their fruits, ye shall know them". You don't know my family, do you?
Even if our Vice President is better educated than we all, so the best way to prove it is to tell people to vote based on primordial and base ethnic sentiments as opposed to voting based on proven capability, performance and track records! What an educated fellow indeed!
