DamZik: Yes The greatest achievement of this hypocrite administration is the beatification of poverty. Most people (outside the political profiteers) still supporting Buhari are the poverty stricken people whose only consolation is in "Jailing of the Rich". The government have successfully sold the notion to these set of people that becoming rich is evil and anybody doing well financially is a thief and looter who is to be executed. This is part of the reasons why illiteracy has being weaponised over the years by the political elites to perpetually keep their people in servitude and slavery.
Buhari is capitalising on this evil mindset of poor Nigerians who find pleasure in the falling of rich people from grace to grass. To them poverty is righteousness while wealth is corruption. Majority of Buhari's followers are ignorant illiterates who have hatred for the well-to-do.
Whereas, "Buhari and his forty cabal thieves" are stinkingly rich buying banks, telecom companies and industries up and down. Hmmmmmmmmmmm! This is a damn serious case of brainwashing. |

President Muhammadu Buhari will be leaving office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by May 29th, 2019 or a later date. Surely, this man will be remembered by Nigerians for one thing or the other. In your own candid opinion, what do you think he will be remembered for years after he has bowed out of office? Sir, you mean the party which 'won' the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections through vote buying, rigging and ballot snatching? You think having succeeded at the state levels with security cover and without consequences, they would not repeat such at the presidential level, more so that the stake is higher this time? At the same time, they want to deter and intimidate their main opponents with 'do same and die'? Which party am I referring to? |

We know wat APC are capable of doing That's exactly the point. My suspicion is that the APC led federal government wants to intimidate the opposition thugs with death threat while planning same with security cover. |

Politics › Will There Be Selective Judgement Of Ballot Box Snatchers? by UnchangeableGod(op): 10:50pm On Feb 20, 2019 |
Snatching of ballot boxes, among other electoral malpractices is highly condemnable. It is evil because it perverts the right of the electorate to freely choose their representatives. The President has reportedly come out to threaten suspected ballot box snatchers with shoot at sight. A lot of people have argued about the propriety/legality or otherwise of the shoot at sight order. My concern is the motive behind such an order. I am well aware that the ruling APC and the main opposition PDP are both desperate to outwit the other through legal and illegal means. I believe that both parties have their touts. Part of the duty of touts is to threaten the opposition candidates and their supporters. Part of their job description is to disrupt the voting exercise, including, ballot box snatching. I need to be convinced that the party of the President does not have touts whom they are recruiting, paying, training, encouraging and motivating to do everything illegally possible to favour the ruling party at the polls same way the PDP might be doing but with a promise that they (APC touts) are under protection and 'insurance cover' of the ruling party. The past three and half years has shown that the Nigerian ruling party are clearly partial and selective in their crusades against societal evils. They tend to apply the hammer on the opposition while at the same time parting their supporters at the back for similar offences. Is it going to be the same this time around? Is the alleged shoot at sight order politically motivated? While not in any way supporting ballot box snatching, I need to ask: are the turgs or touts of the ruling APC going to be differentiated and given special security cover while they work for the ruling party while PDP are intimidated with shoot at sight threat? What happens on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 will tell. |
Politics › Re: PDP Cautions Buratai To End Insurgency And Stop Dabbling Into Partisan Politics. by UnchangeableGod: 10:16pm On Feb 20, 2019 |
Corrinthians: This is how useless this party has become. Pdp drags Nigerian army into politics by telling them not to follow or respect the president's orders to ensure elections are not rigged. The army responds that it is quite unfortunate a party that hope's to become the party at the center could give such an advice, then next thing, the useless devilish entity says the army shouldn't dabble into politics.
Pdp is more useless than a discarded tampon. Sir, you should know that it is not the duty of the army to ensure elections are not rigged. Apart from that, the President is an interested party in the elections and if the army is involved, the army is bound to take sides with him which is also the biggest of all riggings at intimidating gun point. Don't pretend you don't know that the President himself wants the election to favour him, by hook or by crook. |
Politics › Re: Punishment For Snatching Ballot Boxes In America Is Death - Tony Momoh by UnchangeableGod: 9:52pm On Feb 20, 2019 |
AK6464: Death sentence after a proper trial is not same as shoot at sight sir, a trigger-happy police officer could shoot even a presidential aspirant drop a revolver on his corpse and frame him for attempting to snatch ballot boxes and he won't be there to defend himself . May God help Nigeria That is exactly the point. An opponent can be targeted, killed and framed up that he attempted to snatch the ballot box. It is the word of the accuser versus that of the dead. You can't be an accuser and a (killer) judge at the same time. Moreover, the President has been known to be selective in his fights. I am sure that both the ruling APC and the main opposition PDP are planning desperate measures to outwit the other. How are we sure the APC will not provide cover for their own ballot snatching touts through the security agents while intimidating those of the opponents with instant death? |
