PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Headed For A 'full-blown Economic Crisis'- Yahoo Finance by UncleJJ(m): 4:45am On May 29, 2016
A shallow post that fails to enumerate, why our economy will fails besides the fx exchange.

Truly or economy imports more than it exports and truly our economy which is heavily valuated by the western world by oil exports is failing in respect to oil exports.

But, if we sit down and evaluate this economy based on how it has always worked. How it has managed to become the largest economy if Africa.

We need to ask our selves is the Nigerian economy failing - not in a western way but in a Nigerian way.

The question is what is the Nigerian way. It's simple ... have imports fallen significantly .

Yes, Salaries have not been paid and it took the current government a while to pass the budget .

But based on other benchmarks, has Nigerian imports of goods and services dropped?

This is the question you must answer to come to a conclusion that the economy of the federal republic of Nigeria is about to crash.

Are we still importing at a significantly similar level as we always have?

At the moment , Nigeria is not an export economy it is an import economy.

Yes Nigerian ! But, IPOB is making everyone skeptical about the east.

These are military equipment not housewares. From, the look on Saraki's face the senator is just wasting his time.

He may get the contract for training kits but definitely not for real soldiers.

Besides, the senator should have invited the other senator to the so called factory in ABA.

Military boots and uniform are from very durable materials and made by companies who have experience or have brought in experienced individuals to do so.

For all we know, these guys are importing this shi*t from vietnam, china or indonesia.

It's the same way we where told innoson is a manufacturing plant , while infact it's an assembly plant.

Defence contracts are not childs play and are only issued to the most trusted of candidates. Unfortunately , eastern Nigeria is on short supply of this so called element.,
PoliticsRe: Biafra: Judgment On Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail Inappropriate, Bias – IPOB by UncleJJ(m): 1:34am On Feb 04, 2016
The right to self determination is not a legal right. The human rights treaty is not enforceable in any country. It is a mere recommendation.

However, the UN Charter - provides that every nation has the priveledge of non interference by other nation states.

The idea Biafra died when Ojukwu went on self exile to Ivory coast. I cant understand why anyone from the east feels that Biafra is feasible or will be supported by other sovereign nation or international organizations.

The people of eastern extraction are not in any manner marginalized. In fact the very day easterners won elections in Lagos state - the entire issue of easterners suffering in Nigeria turned to dust.

I means look at position in the government there are easterners. Look at education and poverty , commerce and industry. Where is the case of marginalization.

Biafra , I am sorry to say is at the end of the day about resources and greed. At the basis it is what it is and has been the battle to carve the resource from the Niger Delta for the east to loot and plunder as they like.

What do u mean by populous. What does Population have to do with ownership in the context of historical claims.

These guys from the east, you need to go to school. I keep saying it. Those schools in the east are teaching nonsense and awarding garbage degrees. No doubt your an almunus from one of those osu universities. Imsu, absu or esut.

DerideGull: Impressing the cross section of dullards mostly found in Nigeria with exceptional academic achievements is no longer in vogue. I guess silence is the best answer for a fool.
Ahhhh, deride gull, your truly a hard worker. You keep making negative remarks about this country, I am bothered that Stella Oduah would employ such an individual , you seem disturbed. In you other post you described Nigeria as a cesspit, now your subtly implying that Nigerian's are dullards (we all are fools you think) !

And oooh.... Please tell Suen and his minions , the post they deleted (on page 1). Is also on another thread, so they to find it fast.... And of course delete it and oh ...... Permit me to post it again grin
PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah Lied About Her MBA Degree - Sahara Reporters by UncleJJ(m): 4:18am On Jan 08, 2014
DerideGull: If the statement of “stayed back to complete her master’s degree" has been she “enrolled for her master’s degree", the emphases should have been laid on the school instead of the country. Most Nigerians are dysfunctional tribal bigots. No wonder nothing works in the cesspit called Nigeria.
There you go again ! You say emphasis on school. What better emphasis could be made at this point. Nigerian's have agreed Stella went to school, attained a bachelors degree and after she decide to stay back (we are not sure where she stayed back) . But, we all agree the geographical location she did the staying is the United States.

Hence,we ask what school did she get her master's degree from. As a simple google search, reveals that hers masters degree cannot be from St.Pauls (it does not award such degree's). However, she did get a masters degree in '83 (this is a masters degree based on her arbitrary statement).

You remarks (about tribalism and referring to Nigeria as a cesspit) is another cheap and uninspired attempt to distort this thread and pollute it with emotions (which i find are traits of unintelligent individuals in such cases.)

Lovexme: Only people with something to hide use lock codes on their phone(s). The fact that she started locking her phone after you insisted on seeing her sent messages says a lot.

She's your girlfriend, communicate with her..Tell her exactly how you feel about all she's doing, and then you could take your decision from her response.

I hope this helps.

kaura5000: first of all let me clarify something...not everyone can become a sultan because it is hereditary... and also it is just after the coming of the british that he became the spritual leader..but in the oden days the sultan is just a head of a confederal government comprising of 30 emirs that made up sokoto caliphate... the more close example of the caliphate in structure is u.a.e comprising of six or 7 emirates...so you reaise now no one can become the emir of dubai even if he convert to muslim.. so as to sokoto caliphate
ohhh please, like they did not know. They are just fishing for public opinions in hopes someone will support they disorganized system of governent.

I only find, this in the east - where traditional kingship titles are not hereditary - they are for sale.
WebmastersRe: How Facebook Reveals Human Migration by UncleJJ(m): 12:23pm On Jan 04, 2014
spikes C: In the past few years, if u got ur hands on facebook database, the only useful thing would be peoples' contact details. But right now, we're predicting migration with a mere location status update.
This is the very same reason security and forensics , is much more important. As a tech-person , i assume you have access to the internet and can google "privacy issue's". Facebook, should not be going through user's data: to the extent where it queries, it's databases to find out users location. I know this is only possible if you accept the request via browser , however this data as we have seen is shared amongst various research companies who are profiling users and document pattern's.

Dude, security is a big issue - that why lot's of people prefer to run internet activities via self-managed vpn's - everything is been monitored. Have you forgotten so soon - Edward Snowden . Security experts are the most valuable - you must learn to secure you data or do your best to randomize it.

spikes C: Big data, the next big thing cool

The high paying jobs is gradually going to analysts, and people are still learning html and css.

when i tell ppl that development jobs will one day fade out as code monkeys will take over, and solution providers will rule the world, they would still ask me java or c++
Actually security and forensics is the next big thing developers are like high paid mechanics . The only ones that make it to the finish lines are those who build against status quo. Theirs nothing special about writing code or having mastered painting or driving skills, this era only recognizes the guy that build applications which bridge the divide between economic sense and human nature.
WebmastersRe: SSL CERTIFICATE CRASH COURSE – PART 1 by UncleJJ(m): 5:37pm On Dec 31, 2013
Gmmail: SSL Cert. prevents sensitive data hijacking through 'middle man attack'. However the high cost and cumbersome deployment has hindered its wide adoption.
It requires a dedicated ip (not included with shared hosting), installed on one domain. with special config.
Lately thought, there is a new Multiple domain SSL i.e a Single SSL securing multiple domains.
That's why I advice guys to learn to deploy and maintain vps servers. You can get one 1gb ram openvz for 30$/yr. it might be hard in the beginning but soon you'll get used to it. A basic vps setup consist of , dns, mail and web servers . And you can run 2 high traffic sites on 1 gb ram vps running nginx.

For the ssl, guys should check out namecheap , their positive ssl offer has been on for ever and start ssl is offering class2 ssl certs.

Car TalkRe: Is It Better To Buy A Car Outright Or To Buy Using A Loan? by UncleJJ(m): 5:08pm On Nov 13, 2013
Nope the loan is better. Especially if you plan on getting another car, with a year.

Think hard about it, real businesses has nothing to do with risk but profit benefit.

The banks is their to bear the brunt. An easy escape if your credit worthy and financially intelligent.

See it this way. Buy car on loan, service the loan, sell car after a yr, top money buy a more expensive car and keep servicing initial loan.

The rich and financially intelligent have been ddoing this for years.

Someone said car theft or accident. .. If your really interested in risks what are the possibilities of you dying in a car crash. But you buckle up.. You reduce risk, you manage risk... You don't avoid it. wink
