With a good knowledge of Pathologic basis of diseases, any doctor in the rural area can make accurate diagnosis without needing a Lab test for mere confirmatory purposes.

MLS is over rated if I may say. They don't make diagnosis for doctors. Nah! Rather the doctor can use his clinical skill to manage his patients without mortality.

This explains why more doctors are employed than MLS in any hospital.

U can imagine when u have serious emergency as a doctor and u keep waiting for the MLS or technician to run samples for u without starting some treatments for the patient. Hmmm that would be disastrous.

My point is that Doctors don't depend on lab to make diagnosis. They only depend on them 30% of the time to confirm their provisional diagnosis.

In fact medical training is all encompassing. U can learn even from the cleaners. Yes!

Meanwhile u and I know that doctors and nurses don't have the same curriculum. For u to say they do almost the same thing is a big fallacy. Ur knowledge of anatomy is too shallow. Did u even do Head and Neck? This is because u don't need the knowledge to Nurse any patient. Even cleaners can plot TPR chart, change infusions, dress wounds in fact, nurse patients very well when given the opportunity. That drives home the fact that illiterates/ chemist nurses can pose a big challenge to u when the chips are down!

It is the duty of nurses to care for patients at least the dictionary meaning of "Nurse" confirms it. But u forgot that u can not care for a patient unless the doctor prescribes it. That is why u don't catch people on the road and start "nursing" them unless they come to the hospital to see the doctor whom with his diagnostic knowledge may decide to admit the patient into the ward under his name before the nurse will be privileged to do his/her work which is nursing! Based on this, the doctor owns the patient and not the nurse.

Pls, stop spreading hatred because medical workers are meant to be one and not divided.

No body is superior to each others because we are all equal in the eyes of God but humanly speaking, this world would have been a mess without doctors. I can't remember ever hearing that nurses did surgeries. But doctors are trained indepthly. This is what makes them special. No matter how knowledgeable a nurse is, there must be a case he/ she cannot handle hence they refer them to the doctors and never will a doctor refer a patient to a nurse!!

It is not in doubt that a doctor can do all the Nursing work too no Nurse can do all the doctor's work. I have seen a nurse mix IV Ceftriaxone with lidocaine instead of water for injection. If not that I was just present, the patient would have died. The annoying thing is that the said nurse was even claiming she was right until the matron took her outside and made her buy a new Ceftriaxone for the patient. But u can't see me on social media talking abt it. Nah! No body is perfect u may say but human life has Zero tolerance for error.

Everybody has his/ her duty post, so remain there and face ur work and stop looking for who to call names.

Lawyers unlike Doctors are relatively broke early in their practice until they reach a certain level or become judges, then they start getting better pay with good official residence and cars.

But the fact still remains that very few Lawyers get to the top plus that there are too many people studying Law even as second or third degree unlike Medicine that is usually more difficult to study as a family Man or Woman with other degrees because it deals with life.

But when a Lawyer hammers, his contemporaries won't see his back.

The fact still remains that Edon never had the ambition of becoming governor. He was literally pushed as someone that can give Umahi a good chase for his money.

Owing to this, LP became vindictive and most likely won't have a good agenda if voted into Power. While on the other hand, Umahi has been nursing his ambition since 2007 and is likely to have a better agenda for the state just to prove a point that he is not as bad as people think.

The undoing of Elechi backfired against him. In as much as Sam Egwu helped him win in 2007, his government ran a closed doors against Sam Egwu.

I won't really say that Elechi was greedy like a lot of people will put it, but his stepping on too many toes will keep hunting him.
-How many people really benefited from Elechi's government?
-How many youths got employed?
-How manage the only state teaching hospital was "sold" to the federal government?
-How come GEJ was never invited to commission any project by Elechi's government?
-How come free education dwindled?
-How come EBSU became poorly funded and very poor parents were made to sale family lands to meet up with school fee hick! Only for the same parents to be disappointed when their wards are not gainfully employed years after graduation.
-How come the founding fathers became richer and founding sons and grandsons hungry?
-How come Youth Assembly never advocated for tangible youth Empowerment instead of personal interests and gains?

There are lots of unanswered questions. May meaningful youths are roaming the streets looking for a livelihood.

We need Change! We need a man with an uncommon taste for transformation, who will complete abandoned / ongoing projects and not to start a new one.
