CrimeWoman Fakes Own Kidnap To Avoid Paying Employees' Salaries by unclesoyo(op): 11:07am On Sep 05, 2018
A California woman went as far as faking her own kidnapping, sexual assault and robbery in a plot to avoid paying her employees' salaries to the tune of $9,000.

According to reports, 38-year-old Thelma Williams, from Lemon Township, tied herself up and gagged herself before posting photos and videos of herself to social media site, Facebook.

The images, which were posted on Wednesday showed Thelma who owns a trucking business tied to a pole in her basement and gagged with women’s underwear.

She also reported to Police around 2:30 p.m. that she got kidnapped at gunpoint at an intersection in Fresno on Saturday by two African American men wearing masks. She claimed she’d blacked out after being “struck or beaten,” and had later woken up in Caruthers, bound and gagged.

According to police, Thelma also claimed to have been a victim of sexual assault and also alleged that she got robbed of the $9,000 she intended to use to pay the employees of her family trucking business.

But after an extensive investigation and 2.5 hours of police interrogation, Gonzalez confessed it was all a hoax.

At a press conference, Investigators revealed that Gonzalez made up the reported kidnapping because she didn't have the money to pay two of the employees.

" The truth is Maria Gonzalez made up this entire story for the purpose of letting someone know that $9,000 had been stolen from her — $9,000 she was supposed to pay to subcontractors," Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer told The Fresno Bee. "The reality is she didn’t have the $9,000 to pay the subcontractors, and that’s why she made up the entire story."

Dyer said that Gonzalez "at times appeared to be credible, and then at times there were certain things that were said that caused detectives to believe that perhaps she was not credible."

Police are now working on a warrant for Gonzalez's arrest for filing a false police report.

He drove back to her house, got to her gate, called that he’s outside. She told him to bring it inside the house. Reluctantly, he went inside only to find her NAKED! Confused and in shock, he threw the handkerchief on the ground and ran out and in the process hurt his leg.

What if he went further and the lady starts screaming for help that he wants to rape her? Who would believe a common Taxify driver!

CrimeMan Sells Father To Kidnappers For N45,000 In Osun by unclesoyo(op): 9:01pm On Sep 04, 2018
The Osun State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Isah Ibrahim, for selling his father Ibrahim Adamu, out to kidnappers over a paltry sum of N45,000, Daily Post reports.

According to Police Commissioner in the state, Mr Fimihan Adeoye, the suspect, on April 17, 2018 was reportedly conspired with one Jolaanobi Saheed and three others to kidnap his father for ransom at Owode-ede.

He explained that the kidnappers later killed the victim after collecting three million naira from the family victim, and buried him in a shallow grave near a river.

Adeoye said the prime suspect, Saheed was later apprehended by the police and charged to court, but eventually released on bail.

“Our detectives swung to action immediately the matter was reported to us, we made an headway and arrested the prime suspect, he eventually jumped bail after releasing him on bail by the court.

“Other two accomplices were arrested as we continue to launch a manhunt for the prime suspect, the two suspects we are parading now include the person that dug the shallow grave in which the victim was said to have been buried at a river bank.

“Unfortunately, we have not been able to recover the body of the deceased, may be it has been washed away by water, we don’t know.

“The suspects promised to give the son of the deceased a sum of five hundred thousand naira initially, but later shortchanged him and gave him 45,000 out of three million naira they collected from the family.

“So, this young man sold his father to death for the sum of 45,000 only, “Adeoye lamented.

The son of the deceased, while fielding questions from newsmen, said the initial plan he had with the gang was not to kill his father but to collect money from him.

He expressed regret over the incident, saying his father hostile disposition towards him compelled him to seek for means to “punish” him.

Meanwhile, the mother of the prime suspect, alongside his younger brother and pastor were paraded on Tuesday.

Foreign AffairsDonald Trump Lasted Two Minutes In Bed - Stormy Daniels by unclesoyo(op): 2:09pm On Aug 29, 2018
Porn star Stormy Daniels, who has been having a running battle with the United States President Donald Trump, has said that the president is not much of a good lover and that he lasted only two minutes in bed.

The controversial sex worker also claims that President Trump is a “good conversationalist,” and that in the course of their sexual trysts, he asked “good questions about the porn industry,” including if adult film stars get royalties and residuals or had a union.

In an interview with the Vogue magazine published on Tuesday, she explained part of the extra-marital encounter she had with Trump to New York Times reporter, Amy Chozick.

When asked:

“How many details can you really give about two minutes?” Daniels said, “Maybe. I’m being generous.”

She, however, remained consistent with her past claims that the sex was consensual and that she never felt forced into it.
She also said that Trump wasn’t a bad conversationalist and that he asked good questions about the porn industry, including if adult film stars get royalties and residuals or had a union.

Did Trump do something that made her feel like she had to have sex with him? Daniels is emphatic. “No, nothing,” she says. “Not once did I ever feel like I was in any sort of physical danger. I’m sure if I would’ve taken off running, he wouldn’t have given chase. And even if I had, there’s no way he could’ve caught me. He’s even less likely to catch me now.” Daniels said

RomanceWomen Didn't Come From Men's Ribs, Bible Teaches Inequality - Nigerian Feminist by unclesoyo(op): 1:21pm On Aug 29, 2018
A Nigerian feminist identified as Nkechi Bianze has explained why she believes the Bible teaches inequality among gender.

According to her, women didn't come out of men's ribs. The reverse is the case and men are the ones that came out of women's vaginas.

She further stated that this contradicts what she believes in, which is the feminism ideology and this was instrumental to her abandoning Christianity and what it has to offers.

Read what she posted on Facebook:

The MAIN reason I left Christianity is because I came to understand that the Bible ranked men above women... it propagates inequality of the genders. This was so in contrast with my feminist ideology. An ideology I hold so dear.

There's absolutely no way on earth that I would belong to an ideology that tells me that I'm inferior to any man; or one that propagates gender inequality in any way, shape or form, or one that says that any man is my head just because he owns a penis. No f*cking way!!!

No one owes me any proof or explanation, I know.
But if anyone can prove to me (using the Bible) that the Bible/Christianinty is not against equality of the genders, I will become a Christian again TODAY!

This is a mini thread. Come with me.
I intend to drive a conversation and spark a debate. Go inside the post and read my comments as we go.

I’m not ready to put up with nonsense on this post. If you haven’t got the brain to put up an argument but resort to insults, I will block you and delete your comments. I won’t waste my time arguing shit with you.

PoliticsHow I Washed Dead Bodies For 10 Years – Gov. Ajimobi by unclesoyo(op): 11:55am On Aug 29, 2018
Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has opened up on his hustle while outside of the country studying as a young man and according to him, he washed dead bodies to pay his tuition fees.

Ajimobi said this yesterday at a South-West Youths Regional Summit in Osogbo, Daily Post reports.

The Governor, while urging the youth to have a positive mindset towards hard work, said he spent eight years abroad washing dead bodies to survive.

He said his parents only sent him 30 dollars all through his stay abroad, adding that he had to look for a way to survive.

“I left Nigeria in 1963 to study abroad, but throughout my stay there, I was washing dead bodies to support myself to go to school.

“When ever I got home from work, I will be weeping, remembering the number of dead bodies I washed.

“My boss at work then said I should not be afraid or fear, adding that such feeling is normal for first comers. He encouraged me to always see those dead bodies as iced fish.

“But against all odds, I survived and that is why I am urging youths to see hard work as the only way to success. I am saying this to challenge the youth of our next generation not to give up.

“This is our chance as youths and as Yorubas to come together to chart a successful pathway for the country.’’

Ajimobi, however, urged Yoruba leaders and governors to unite for the progress of the Yoruba race.

He was an amazing husband, he truly made me better, made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world, and he loved me so deeply. We fit so well together, we were one. He was an amazing daddy, his three boys are going to miss him so much.

CrimeMy Dad Is Very Stingy - Mapoly Undergraduate Who Stole Dad's Severance Pay by unclesoyo(op): 10:34am On Aug 22, 2018
Ade Giwa, the father of an Ordinary National Diploma student at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Richard Giwa, has accused his son of stealing the severance pay given to him by the last firm he worked for.

The father said Richard allegedly transferred the money into his bank account.

Punch Metro reports that the 22-year-old transferred the sum of N135,000 from the account through his father’s phone.

The father said he was charging his phone in the sitting room when Richard sneaked in and took it.

He said,

“Richard has done this criminal act before. He looks so gentle that when you see him, you will think he cannot commit such an act.

“The company I was working for was shut down in April 2017. We thought we would be called back, only for me to get a retirement letter in December 2017.

“In March, my boss sent N140,000 to me as part payment of my severance pay. Richard came home, saw the alert, gradually transferred N135,000 from the account and fled the house.

“I was shocked when I saw the balance in my account. So, I went to my bank and it was there that I was asked who Richard Giwa was and I said he is my son. My account statement was printed for me and I saw the transfer. I went to his mother’s house in Amikanle, but I was told that he was nowhere to be found.”

The 65-year-old, who noted that he regularly gave Richard money for upkeep, said he did not know the reason why he would steal from him.

He said the mother claimed not to know anything about the theft, adding that Richard threatened to deal with him if he did not leave his mother out of the matter.

Ade said when he reported the matter at the Alagolo Police Division, the police refused to arrest the mother, saying it was against the law to arrest a non-offender.

He lamented that he had nothing left and had been borrowing money from people to survive.

When Richard was contacted, he admitted to transferring the money, saying he used it to complete his school project.

The 22-year-old, however, claimed that he and his mother were neglected by his father.

He said,

“At first, I thought my father did not have money to take care of us. But later, I discovered that he just did not want to take care of us. He is always saying that I am not his son.

“My father is not computer literate; his phone is always with me. I realise that whenever he goes out, I will receive a debit alert on his phone. I told my mum that my dad had been withdrawing money; he just did not want to give us, but my mum said I should leave him alone.

“There was a day he went out and a debit alert message popped up on his phone and a friend said he saw him eating in a restaurant. He is not concerned about our wellbeing.

“Someone called me from school that I had to pay all the fees I owed and I asked my father for money. He said he did not have; it was my final year in school. I asked my mum, she had nothing to offer.

“Since I don’t want to have an extra year, I transferred N100,000 to pay for my school project and other fees. If I actually want to take his money, I will transfer everything and he will not see me again.”

Richard said his father did not notice that he transferred the money till after three months when he went to check his account balance in the bank.

He added that when his father confronted him about the money, he admitted to transferring it, adding that he told his father that he would pay back the money whenever he got a job.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said the matter was reported to the police.

He said, “It is true that the matter was reported at the Alagolo Police Station; it is under investigation.”

Dozens of men arrived at Union Square in New York City this past weekend in order to go on a Tinder date with a girl named Natasha.

However, their plans quickly took a turn when Natasha herself stood up on stage and announced that she wanted all the men to participate in a live Tinder competition.

Nicholas, one of Natasha’s Tinder matches, told Gothamist that while most men chose not to participate, there were some who followed her demands and even subjected themselves to, “a live swipe line.”

According to a Twitter thread created by user @bvdhai, Natasha tricked all the men into meeting her at Union Square. She set up a stage and soundsystem, and revealed she wanted her suitors to participate in a live Tinder Date competition.

She gets the mic and is like thanks for coming out I bet you're all wondering what this is about and I'm like yeah what the f**k is this about.

However, despite being completely played by Natasha some of the men chose to stay and actually participate. One of the duped dates, Nicholas, told Gothamist that Natasha had the men do push ups and run.

“She did a live swipe line, right and left,” Nicholas told Gothamist.

While a stunt like this doesn’t make for a great first impression, some gave Natasha props for pulling such a bold move.

US prisoners launch nationwide strike demanding changes to correctional institutions including living conditions, pathways to parole and voting rights restoration.

The US incarceration rate is the world's highest: about 2.2 million people were behind bars at the end of 2016, a figure the American Civil Liberties Union says represents approximately one-fifth of the global population of prisoners.

The strike -- set to continue through September 9, according to organizers -- was called in response to a deadly riot in April at a maximum security prison in South Carolina, Lee Correctional Institution.

"Seven comrades lost their lives during a senseless uprising that could have been avoided had the prison not been so overcrowded from the greed wrought by mass incarceration, and a lack of respect for human life that is embedded in our nation's penal ideology," the group of incarcerated prison rights advocates leading the strike said.

"These men and women are demanding humane living conditions, access to rehabilitation, sentencing reform and the end of modern day slavery," the group, known as Jailhouse Lawyers Speak, said in a statement.

Organizers throughout the United States advised inmates to engage in peaceful sit-ins, hunger strikes and work stoppages.

Low remuneration for prisoners put to work at jobs like cooking and cleaning is high on the list of grievances released by organizers, who dubbed the practice "slavery."

Udi Ofer, who leads the ACLU Campaign for Smart Justice, praised the strikers and backed their 10 demands, particularly the right to vote for felons and prisoners.

Felon enfranchisement laws vary state by state, but in many places inmates lose voting rights for a period while incarcerated, and sometimes after release as well.

"Our country is stronger when people most marginalized and directly impacted by unjust policies raise their voices in protest and demand a different future," Ofer said in a statement. "The courageous people who are bringing focused attention to America's system of mass incarceration through the Nationwide Prison Strike deserve our admiration."

"We urge corrections officials not to respond with retaliation," he added.

"Peaceful demonstrations challenging unjust conditions and practices do not merit placing participants into solitary confinement or adding time to their sentences."

In 2016, inmates responded to a similar call to action, with prisoners striking in states including Florida, Alabama, Texas and South Carolina.

Christianity EtcPastors Should Apologize When Their Prophecies Fail - Bishop Mike Okonkwo by unclesoyo(op): 6:53pm On Aug 21, 2018
Bishop Mike Okonkwo, ex-president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and General Overseer of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), has advised church leaders whose prophecies did not come to pass to apologise to the church.

Bishop Okonkwo said this in an interview with Leadership, while speaking on Nigeria’s politics and economic development.
He mentioned that there is actually nothing wrong with making a prophecy that does not come to pass, but the most important thing is to own up to the mistake and make apologies to the people that the unfulfilled prophecies might have derailed.

And it is quite unfortunate that what most clergies do is to paint the situation after the failure of the prophecy.

He said:

“Anyone who makes a prophetic declaration let him stand by his prophetic declaration, if it didn’t come to pass let him come and apologise to the church that he lied.

“There is nothing wrong that you make a prophesy and out went over the bar, come to church and tell the church that you lied.

“What annoys me is that you come and begin to paint it, I didn’t say it this way because I said it this way, that is nonsense. You make a prophesy, it fails, you are a human being, come to the church and say I fail.”

The monarch was stabbed by the assailant while he was attempting to enter his vehicle after the council meeting.

Crime8-year-old Girl Raped And Murdered By A Family Friend In South Africa by unclesoyo(op): 4:53pm On Aug 20, 2018
An eight-year-old South African girl was raped and murdered by a family friend over the weekend in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Vutlhari Sithole disappeared last Friday evening, August 17, at a playground in Lehae, south of Johannesburg. Her body was discovered on Saturday, after a 12-hour search.

A neighbour, who is also her grandfather's colleague, allegedly told her to follow him to his house where he promised to give her R10.

Her family said they are haunted by the state of her body, which was found dumped in the veld.

Vutlhari's grandfather Zwelakhe Nukeri said he was shattered when he saw the girl's lifeless body in the veld along the Golden Highway.

"I saw that she was bashed in the head several times. Her neck was bruised because the guy strangled her. She was in a small ditch on the other side of the Golden Highway," said Nukeri.

Vutlhari lived with her grandparents in Lehae, while her mother lives in Tzaneen, Limpopo.
Nukeri said he struggled to hold back the tears and the image of Vutlhari's lifeless body haunts him.

"Her pants were pulled down to her knees and you could see that she was fighting for her life because she also had bruises all over her body," said an emotional Nukeri.

He said Vutlhari disappeared after she told her grandmother that she was going to play at a park near their house.
Her grandmother, Evodia Nukeri, grew concerned when she noticed that she had not returned after dark.

"We started a search party and even went into the veld nearby and came across two children who said they saw the suspect pulling a dustbin to the dumping site," she said.

The grandmother said they looked in the dustbin, which was left at the site, but Vutlhari was not there.

"I saw the suspect moments after and I asked him if he saw Vutlhari but he didn't respond, instead he just walked away.

"I paid very little attention to his reaction. I was in a frantic state. We haven't seen him (the suspect) since Friday night."

The grandmother said a neighbour apparently heard Vutlhari screaming.

"The guy's neighbour told us that she heard her screaming 'don't kill me' but failed to act because she did not want to involve herself in matters that did not concern her," she said.

An emotional Evodia said she did not understand why a family friend would be so cruel as to abduct, rape and murder their granddaughter.

"We know him. He is a very quiet and sweet person," she said.

Evodia described her granddaughter as sweet.

"She loved school and she loved reading," she said.

Police spokesperson Captain Mpande Khoza, who confirmed the incident, said the 27-year-old suspect was being sought for Vutlhari's rape and murder.

PoliticsTinubu Supports Buhari To Achieve 2023 Presidential Ambition – Saraki by unclesoyo(op): 4:36pm On Aug 20, 2018
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is only lending support to President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election to sustain his 2023 presidential ambition.

In a report by The Punch, Saraki said this in a statement on Monday in response to an open letter written by Tinubu on Sunday,

Tinubu in his letter had said the Senate President dumped the APC because of his Presidential ambition and selfish quest for power, rather than for good governance.

However, in a statement titled, ‘The Tinubu rhetoric — My response,’ Saraki said when Tinubu was appointed the head of the APC’s reconciliation committee, he (Tinubu) reached out to him and admitted that he was also not satisfied with Buhari’s performance, but that he would remain in the party.

Saraki added,

“However, during those meetings, the point of disagreement between me and him was that, while I expressed worries that there was nothing on ground to assure me that the administrative style and attitude would change in the next four years in a manner that will enable us deliver the positive changes we promised to our people, he (Tinubu) expressed a strong opinion that he would rather ‘support a Buhari on the hospital stretcher’ to get a second term because in 2023, power will shift to the South-west.

“This Tinubu’s viewpoint was not only expressed to me but to several of my colleagues. So much for acting in national interest.

“It is clear that while my own decision was based on protecting collective, national interest, Tinubu will rather live with the identified inadequacies in the government for the sake of fulfilling and preserving his presidential ambition in 2023.

“This new position of Tinubu has only demonstrated inconsistency, particularly when one reviews his antecedents over the years.”

Saraki said Tinubu was still sulking over the fact that he (Saraki) was one of those who opposed Tinubu’s bid to emerge as the running mate of candidate Buhari in 2014.

He added:

“Again, let me reiterate my position that my uncertain and complex relationship with Tinubu has been continually defined by the event of 2014 when myself and other leaders of the APC opposed the Muslim-Muslim ticket arrangement about to be foisted on the APC for the 2015 polls.

“It should be noted that he has not forgotten the fact that I took the bull by the horns and told him that in the interest of the country, he should accept the need for the party to present a balanced ticket for the 2015 general elections in terms of religion and geo-political zones.

“Since that time, he has been very active, plotting at every point to undermine me, within and outside the National Assembly.”

CelebritiesYinka Ayefele's Building Demolition: Read This Before You Get Emotional by unclesoyo(op): 4:23pm On Aug 20, 2018
https://lailasnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Yinka-Ayefeles-building-demolition-Read-this-before-you-get-emotional-conclude-wrongly-lailasnews.jpg

A user @obembet https://www.nairaland.com/4686412/toye-arulogun-reacts-yinka-ayefele#70444697, on popular Nigerian forum, Nairaland, has given her opinion concerning the popular singer, Yinka Ayefele's building demolition, last weekend.

On Sunday 19th August, 2018, the Oyo State government had taken an action to demolish Yinka Ayelefele's Music House after serving the media house a demolition notice weeks earlier.

The demolition of the N800 million building sparked reactions across the country and a lot of Nigerians are of the opinion that the government had gone way to far in their 'witch-hunting' escapade.

However, the user on the forum had a different view and wants Nigerian to think twice before getting emotional over the demolition. According to @obembet, Yinka Ayefele 'excos' demolition won't be the first in Oyo State.

She added that there was even a demolition that was supported by Yinka Ayefele's Fresh FM radio station.

Read her post:

JUST BEFORE YOU GET EMOTIONAL AMD CONCLUDE WRONGLY.

There are intricate lessons to be learnt from the demolition. I have decided to take the lessons rather than being emotional. I knew the building will be pulled down if not now then later. If not by this government, then by a later government.

Why are we being emotional about this demolition? Oh because it's owned by Ayefele or because it is a radio station? Definitely whichever of the two reasons is not above the law of the land which is subject to a lot of interpretations.

Has any one drove from Idi Ape through Bashorun to Akobo? Those buildings pulled down were owned by people like Ayefele. The businesses there employed people too. Oh because we assumed that they were not physically challenged or owned a radio station?

When Barrister Lowo Obisesan held away as a Oyo Commissioner, he went about restoring the beauty of the land by pulling down everything that needed to be pulled down thus making Ibadan a beauty to behold. A lot of bread winners were affected. Same FRESHFM supported him back then. So now the chicken has come home to roost. Let's not crucify Ajimobi, Ajimobi has no single power to effect any demolition.

The demolition was done by the OYSG. By May 29 2018, Ajimobi would walk away as a private person. The OYSG would always be here with us. Another man would mount the saddle as a Governor. Governance would continue. Our dear UCH lost its fence worth about N12million to that road in front of the Hospital. I doubt if we have been paid for it.

This is an opportunity for politicians to score cheap points. I'll rather these politicians come together, pulled resources together and build another befitting Music House that in years to come would not fall 'foul' of government environmental laws. Government is like Management. Decisions are taken a times that we do not understand and feel shouldn't have been taken.

But the government like the management still has to take a decision irrespective of whose ox is gored, irrespective of if we like it or not, irrespective of if it favors us or not. A government or management who lacks the will to take a decision has no moral latitude to be called a government or a management. However, if like it's being guessed that the demolition was to silence the opposition, then too bad.

There area about 27 other radio stations in Ibadan alone. I seriously doubt if OYSG will want to muzzle the media.

They told me this has been on for 7 years that Akala out of impunity bent the rules and roads for Yinka and no way it will not haunt him forever. Now a demolition of a year was sent to him to come rectify the adjustment.he refused.

At the expiration of d 1 year.they served a 3days notice on him which expired on wednesday. The buldozer did not come that day only for yinka to rush to sue the government on thursday.Meanwhile courts are on break and case yet to be heard.no court injunction served.Yinka n fans continued to sentimentally insult Ajimobi and even Dapo Lam Adesina was at the station yesterday bashing Ajimobi.

He now went ahead to pull down the illegal structure in question and not d entire building. Now egbon what is on that land that yinka is scared to leave.Remember his scandal with Erelu Agbaye who claimed they gave him fame.Yinka could have gone to Akala to help intervene and relocate him to another place.!!!!!
