Success was captured in a video where she met with the ace comedian and the duo was engaged in a conversation.

Ushbebe had asked her why she mentioned in her viral video, that her teachers will flog her until they get tired and the little girl responded saying she was extremely pissed at them.

Her reaction while responding to the comedian made him laugh and asked her to always calm down as it seems she brags a lot.

Going by the paternity controversy trailing reality TV star Gifty Powers and Mr 2Kay, her new post on Instagram could be insinuating that she was threatening to kill Mr 2Kay and his mum.

According to reports, Gifty has a child with Mr. 2kay, but she had taken time to deny this in several interviews, stating that her daughter has a father in her life and he is not the singer.

Nollywood filmmaker Alesh, while celebrating Mother's day with his mum, has surprised her with a car.

A Nigerian lady resident in Canada, Ehi Bello has vowed to burn the Nigerian passport issued to her, just after becoming a Canadian Citizen.

The obviously excited lady has just received her Canadian passport and took to her social media page to make the announcement.

The Senior Pastor of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Wole Oladiyun has explained the reason why every christian must pay tithe.

The pastor spoke on the issue in a recent interview with City People Magazine where he also advised all Christians to adopt the principle of giving.

Below are excerpts of his views:



Over the last few months many Pastors have come under close scrutiny and attack from those outside the church. What is your take on various criticisms pastors have been subjected to?

The Bible says the prince of this world comes and finds nothing in me. The Bible equally said: “He who stands must beware, so that he does not fall”. The criticisms are both positive and negative. There are norms that we must conform to as Christian leaders. Once we deviate from those norms, we must be checked. The criticisms, in a way are checks, and they are welcome. We are in a position of leadership and we must be responsible.

There are 3 major things I emphasise to Christian leaders. One, that God has put us in the ministry, we have not put ourselves there and it’s a great opportunity. So, the first thing is God has given us an opportunity. When a man is given an Opportunity, the onus now lies on the man to be responsible and be accountable.

So, those two things must be adhered to. We must be responsible for the opportunity to be in ministry and we must be accountable. When responsibility is shirked, then there must be deterrent measures. When we are not accountable then we must be pummeled.

The public, singularly speaking can raise voices against us, and then we must check ourselves. You can’t rule it out that people are saying what they don’t know because we are human beings. We have the episcopal grace. But we must use the grace to better the lot of the people. Some pastors are not called, they called themselves.

You can imagine abominable things happening in Christendom. It gives us concerns, those of us who are really standing right by the grace of God. How can you imagine pastors patronising dark practitioners, people in the occult world? It’s not right.

How can you imagine pastors using the inflowing to the ministry for frivolous things, instead of using the resources to build humanity, to build a better life for people, to build legacies that our children will see tomorrow and congratulate us. When you see pastors living extravagantlifestyle, it shouldn’t be so.

These days, you see pastors sleeping with women in church and young ones doing abominable things or saying things they don’t do. It’s not right. That is not being responsible, that is not being accountable. When those things are happening, the Holy Spirit goes away from such ministers, and then they will now look for other means to help themselves up.

So, when we are criticized in those areas, those criticisms are welcomed, so that we can change. So that we can conform to the norms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many General overseers, who are doing evil these days don’t have eternity in mind. But I must say some criticisms in some areas are purgatory.

They are not positive, like people criticizing Giving, Tithing and first fruit. Those are biblical norms nobody can work against. You can criticize those who are not using the resources right. For instance, every income in CLAM for the past 21years is well accounted for, I have the records. And you can see the visible things we are doing with the income.

By the grace of God, if you check in Nigeria today, CLAM has one of the leading medical facilities, caring for people with minimal charges. We just take charges that can make us to pay the staffers. For example, we did the 4th brain surgery a few weeks ago.

Each brain surgery will cost 8 million in India, but here we did each one successfully for 900k. Here in CLAM Soteria Maternity, we’ve done hip replacement and so many surgeries successfully. Now we just concluded one-month free medical checkup for women with our Mammogram machine.

Last year alone, 2 to 3 mad persons gave birth to children by the way side and they were brought here. We took care of them and handed them over to the Lagos medical welfare successfully. When we see people who could not afford their bills we let them go.

We are doing things right here. Our farms alone will be able to take 7,000 to 10,000 youths off the street. How about using money coming in to CLAM to set up an acquisition scheme, vocational center? Miscreants are being brought in here to be trained. People from other faith are coming here to be trained. We award scholarships. We are training a lady who will become a Pilot in 3 months’ time, in Philippine.

We are training people in primary school, secondary school and University. Even the Muslim community here benefited from our scholarship awards. We are taking care of them. We live together in peace with our neighbours. That is Christianity as defined by Jesus. When ministers veer off, we must be checked, they must be checked.

The money that built the Soteria Hospital could have been deposited to wet lease a plane, but I have not done that. There is nothing bad in using a Jet. Let me balance it and let the whole world hear. I am a crusader; I go to villages that pastors don’t go. I have been to several countries, states, towns and villages.

Sometimes I would be tired in the car and feel like having a helicopter, to bring me out of those villages and hamlets immediately I finish. If anybody gives me, a helicopter, I will collect it, use it, and nobody must shout because I have paid my dues. So, for those of us, who have paid our dues, we deserve a major comfort.

What is your take on the issue of Titthe?

Tithing has to do with the 10% of your income. It belongs to God. When you pay your Tithe, you activate benefits from the Lord. When you give your Offering, you activate blessings from the Lord. When you give your First fruit, you enter into a level of wealth unprecedented, because God will begin to release ideas, he will begin to minister to you.

Payment of Tithes is a spiritual thing; it cannot be analyzed with our gumption. These are biblical norms that must not be faulted by anyone. No one is compelled to give; we explain the principle to the people, the onus now lies on you to activate the principles. It is as simple as that.

When you give your Tithe, you chase away devourers from your finances. Even the Muslims give Zakat. They believe Zakat is a matter of must for them. Those who are not born again, they are neither a Muslim nor Christian, yet they Give and receive, Law of nature, Law of nemesis, Law retribution. What you give will activate receiving from the supernatural; I’m talking on the mundane level.

Every Giver is an Achiever, even those who don’t know God, once you give you receive. It’s a natural principle that God has instituted. So, in our faith by the grace of God, Tithing, Giving of Offering and first fruit is very important. When the money flows into the church, they must be multiplied. They must be well used. When it’s not well used, then criticism comes in.

What is the correlation between the Old and New Testaments on the issue of Tithing, because that has been the argument over the years?

When people are bringing issues up, I’ll want us to discuss holistically. The bible is just one book. Everything in the Old Testament is the shadow of the New Testament.

When you are talking of Tithing, are they saying we don’t have Tithe issues in the New Testament? When you look at Hebrew 7 for example you will see everything there.

The Leviticus priest had paid Tithe in Abraham’s time. Abraham was the great grandfather, followed by Isaac, Jacob then Levi. The Levi was the 4th generation. When Abraham had an encounter with Melchizedek, there was an exchange. He paid Tithe.

He said this levite has paid tithe in Abraham. I don’t like complication. That simply means through the blood, genetically levite has done that, though he wasn’t born then. We are the modern day Leviticle priest.

So, the priesthood is there and there is nothing anybody can do about that. If you say ‘tithe should not come to church; we should not follow the principles of God? We would deny many people of their benefits? You want me to go back and be practising engineering and give myself fully to this work; If I do that you won’t meet CLAM like this.

We won’t be affecting our nation like this. So, for those of us who are genuinely doing the work if I do that well, we know these principles are real and these principles will be there till the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. They cannot be discarded. They cannot be removed. They cannot be deleted and they cannot be taken away from the Bible. They remain as God has stated them.

When you are talking of Giving, Giving runs through. When you are Tithing, you are Giving the 10% of your earnings to activate the blessing and promises of God. Giving is an act. Some people don’t even give physical money, but they give their services. Some people intercede, they give in intercession. So, Giving is multi-dimensional. It’s the principle of God; it’s the principle of the kingdom. Giving must not be compromised.

As a rational human being, what you sow, you reap. It works for everyone irrespective of your faith bias. There is something very unscientific about Giving just like the Anointing. The first Submarine made by God was the fish that swallowed Jonah.

He was in the belly of a fish for 3 days, God suspended the digestive system of that fish, Jonah was not digested, and the fish vomited him on the 3rd day. That was not scientific. So, this principle is beyond Science. It’s beyond rational analysis.

Take for instance. Jesus met with the disciples and the tax payers asked them to pay tax. Jesus asked Peter to go to the sea with his hook, the first fish that comes, he should pick it, open it and bring the money in it. Can science rationalize that?

So, it’s the same thing with Giving. Also, the wife of one of the prophets went to Elisha, she said to him, “Your servant, when he was alive owed, though he was a good man, now the creditors have come to take the two sons, what shall I do”?

Elisha asked if she has anything in the house, she said ‘nothing but a little measure of oil and Elisha said, go and borrow vessels, lock the door, get the oil and start pouring it inside the vessels, and the little oil filled so many vessels. Can science rationalize that? So, you can’t rationalize the principle of Tithing, first fruit and Giving. There is something that is beyond common sense about the principle of God.

Popular music executive, Ubi Franklin has waded into the recent Waje's outburst and her decision to quit music.

Just yesterday, a video surfaced on the internet showing singer Waje complaining about the situation of things in Nigeria’s music industry and worried she might have to abandon her career in music.

Ubi Franklin, in his reaction, wrote that it is not easy for an individual to be a singer and at the same time the record label owner.

Another building has collapsed in Kakawa Street on Lagos Island, bringing to three the number of building collapses witnessed in that section of Lagos in the last two weeks.

The building is reported to have been marked for demolition and occupants had vacated before the incident. But it affected the bungalow beside, which reportedly had occupants in it before the incident.

This will be the 3rd building collapse incident on the Lagos Island in the month of March.

Just two weeks ago, a building housing a school at the Ita-Faaji area of the Island collapsed, with no fewer than 20 people dead, including children and about 40 more injured.

Joey Akan, the Nigerian journalist enmeshed in the controversies trailing the business dealings between singer Emma Nyra and Ubi Franklin and Iyanya, has revealed that there is no No Non-Disclosure Agreement between Emma Nyra and Ubi Franklin.

Ubi Franklin had stated in a prior interview that he was under a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the songstress and so he was not at liberty to talk about what ensued between them, with the public.

According to Ubi, they had agreed to keep mute on their issues, which was signed by both parties and bounded by the law. And he further revealed that whoever breached the agreement is liable to pay a sum of N10million to the other party.

Koffi Olomidé, one of Africa's most popular singers, has been found guilty of the statutory rape of one of his former dancers when she was 15.

He was handed a two-year suspended jail sentence by a court in France in absentia, as he failed to turn up.

The ruling means the Congolese star only faces arrest if he commits further offences, says the BBC's Nadir Djennad.

Olomidé, 62, was ordered to pay 5,000 euros ($5,700; £4,300) in damages to the former dancer.

The court in Nanterre, outside Paris, also ordered him to pay a fine of the same amount for helping three women enter France illegally.

Olomidé's lawyer has hailed the ruling as a victory, telling journalists it would result in the withdrawal of the star's international arrest warrant.

A Chinese doctor, Dr. Ling Zhipei has performed the first ever brain surgery over a 5G mobile network, according to Chinese media.

A patient with Parkinson's disease allegedly had an implant put in their brain by a doctor who was more than 1,800miles away (3,000km).

Using 5G technology, Dr Zhipei remotely implanted a neuro-stimulator into his patient’s brain on Saturday, moving instruments in PLAGH hospital in Beijing. The patient was in a clinic on the other side of the country, on the southern Hainan Island.

Allegedly, the surgery that ended successfully lasted for three hours. The patient, suffering from Parkinson’s disease, is said to be feeling well and is recovering.

The technology used for this pioneer surgery is based on a computer that uses a next generation 5G network developed by the Chinese tech giant Huawei. As the doctor moves the robotized arms with instruments, the 5G network enables the instant response of the same robotic arms on the other side of connection. According to Dr Zhipei, the feeling is as close at it can be as if the patient was really in front of him.

“You barely feel that the patient is 3,000 kilometers away,” he said.

The advantage of 5G digital networks over standard 4G is in their reliability. Conventional 4G has no capacity to transfer video without lagging, which often results in jumpy movement of a picture or video.

For years manufacturers of medical equipment have been racing to produce gear that lets surgeons operate from a distance, like the robotic “telesurgery” provided by the American da Vinci Surgical System. However, the system was too expensive and has some technical issues. The new 5G network offers the change that medical tech giants were looking for and China just proved that remote surgery is a new chapter in the history of medicine.

Remote surgery benefits are numerous. It could allow people from far-away regions or war zones to receive immediate help from top doctors around the globe.

A sex worker who is also a mother of two has revealed that she pays her bills and supports her family by sleeping with married men who are willing to pay and that her services are to help their wives at home, with their marital duties.

Her story is one of the powerful narratives that make up 5Star documentary, Sex On The Streets reported by Mirror Online.

Journalist Storm Huntley speaks to a high class call girl operating from her home in south London, a sex worker who has been brutally attacked and finds out what it’s really like to sell your body on the streets.

But one mum-of-two, who admits she has several married clients, insists sex work does not end marriages – and can have the opposite impact.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “I help families and keep them together. “I do worry about the pain I cause but I find if a husband is using escorts then it’s better than if he meets another woman and develops feelings. “This is just sex and just physical.”

The mum reveals how she came to be working in the sex industry, where she can meet with up to three clients in a single day.

She said:

“After I had my two children I was left in a lot of debt. A friend did this and she suggested I should try it and I’ve never looked back.”

The mum only has men in her home when the children are not around, has a very strict set of rules for her clients and always practises safe sex.

Professor Pius Adesanmi's widow, Olumuyiwa Balogun-Adesanmi, has released an official statement since the death of her husband who was one of the victims of the Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed on Sunday, 10th of March, 2019.

Ms. Olumuyiwa Balogun-Adesanmi, in her tribute to her late husband described him as a gem who stood by his words and was also looked up to by his peers and proteges.

I have no words to describe the depths of my pain on the untimely passing of my husband, Pius Adesanmi. He was an extraordinary scholar, husband, devoted father and a fine gentleman.

He was an uncommon breed. He wrote about human rights, gender equality and human dignity. He practised what he preached. I am a living witness to the kindness of his soul and love for others.

Pius Adesanmi enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Our daughter Tise’s words often tugged at his heart every time he needed to travel. He compensated for his regular absences by being generous with his time. He was witty, funny and a joy to behold.

My family and I have been touched by the incredible demonstrations of support and waves of condolences sent our way. I have learned about people of all ages and backgrounds, who never met Pius Adesanmi but broke down in tears when they learned of his death. I am comforted by the sheer enormity of the lives he touched. He lived and died in pursuit of a better world.

He lived and died in service to Africa. Nigeria was dear to his heart and he longed for Nigeria’s development. Pius Adesanmi was also a Canadian citizen and deeply appreciated the blessings of making Canada home.

I appreciate the tremendous support from the Canadian and the Nigerian governments. The administration, students and faculty at Carleton University have been exemplary in our moment of grief. The academic community in Canada, Nigeria and around the world have been immense in their tributes.

I applaud all individuals and institutions around the world that have held or plan to hold vigils, processions and other events to mark my husband’s transition. I thank all local, national and international media organizations for their professionalism in the coverage of the unfortunate crash. Our extended family, neighbours, and friends from all areas of human endeavour have stood solidly by us. I am deeply grateful. Mo dupe, E se pupo, Merci. Thank you.

A man has taken to social media to give an narration on his domestic violence experience in the hands of his former girlfriend.

The man identified as @taiwanesebby took to his handle to share the story of how his girlfriend who he had known since childhood, inflicted serious injuries on him during one of their fights, before they eventually called it quit.

This was last year when my ex girlfriend burned me. No one gave a shit. I want to have a conversation about domestic violence towards males, if anyone's ready.Fast forward years later, we reunited in high school.

We did the usual catching up and grew close over the weeks. Eventually after some months I asked her. I thought she had calmed down as a person, but boy was I wrong..

She accused me of hooking up with my coworker who was like 20 years older than me all because we were laughing and talking on the phone for a while. She told me laughing with other females means I'm showing interested. I said my coworker is like a sister and then-

She started crying and accusing me of treating her like she's dumb. I tried to apologize (For nothing) and hug her, but I kept getting shoved back. So when I left her alone, I was then accused of not caring about her.

Few weeks later we were at a group outing with some friends and I was with a girl. My ex got jealous but the reason I was hanging around the girl is because she was Taiwanese too and I could relate to her about a lot. My ex then came to me crying and pulled me over.

I asked her whats wrong and she told me her period's been missing and she believed she was pregnant. So I told her to take a test and she said no, then I said let's go to the hospital and she said no. I told her we should talk to our parents and again, she said no.

Days later I truthfully told her that I don't want to be with her anymore because she's always treating me badly and putting the blame on me. I wasn't allowed to talk to any girls, had to send her pictures of me when I was on the bus to make sure I wasn't sitting next to girls-

And couldn't post pictures of myself shirtless even though she knew I was updating people on my weight loss at the time. She's an emancipated minor so she texted me as soon as I got home asking me to come to her apartment because she wanted to fix things. I said okay.

As soon as I get there, she's hitting me and cursing at me for apparently causing her to want to kill herself. She said she wanted to hurt me like I hurt her. I never in my life grabbed a pair of scissors and tried to jab it into her thigh, but that's what she did to me.

A French couple have been barred from naming their baby Griezmann Mbappe after a five-month court process.

Last November, an issue arose when the football supporting family attempted to register their newborn under the World Cup winners’ names.

His parents have decided to call him Dany Noe instead.

A local official who deemed that “Griezmann Mbappe” — after Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe — was “contrary to the child’s interest” referred the case to the public prosecutor.

Other names to have run afoul of the law in France in recent years include “Jihad”.

Best known in France as the term for an Islamic holy war, “jihad” can also mean a personal and non-violent struggle against sin for Muslims.

President Donald Trump of the United States has ordered the grounding of all Boeing 737 Max 8 and 9 planes across America.

The President told reporters that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will ground the planes in question in the US as part of an emergency order, “until further notice”

The President said the paramount concern of his administration is the moment is the safety and well being of the people of America."The safety of the American people, of all people, is our paramount concern,” he said. 

A flight attendant union said the decision to ground Boing 737 Max planes is "good news."

The president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, Sara Nelson, urged everyone to "focus on the needed fix, rather than the uncertainty of flight." “Lives must come first always.

But a brand is at stake as well. And that brand is not just Boeing. It's America," she said in a statement.

"What America means in international aviation and by extension in the larger world more generally — that we set the standard for safety, competence, and honesty in governance of aviation"

She then said further that what aviation workers only care for is the safety of everyone on and off board:

“We must be leaders in safety, always. We thank all who spoke up. Aviation workers will always stand up for safety. We have that ability and right through our union. It's important to recognize the critical role unions play in raising issues, demanding the best of ourselves, of management, and government.”

The Association for Formidable Educational Development (AFED) and National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) – have denied associations with Ohen Private Nursery and Primary School, the school within the collapsed building on Massey Street, Lagos Island.

National President AFED, the umbrella group of private schools that serve the low-income members of the society, Mr. Emmanuel Orji, told The Nation that the group had no records of the school’s membership.

“We have tried searching for information about the school.  I don’t think it is one of our members.“I have called people in that area to confirm.  But if anything comes up, would let you know,” he said

Popular Ghanaian atheist, Chris Vincent, in his reaction to the death of 157 people who perished in the Ethiopian Airline crash, blamed God for looking away from them.

On Sunday, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane managed by Ethiopian Airlines crashed on it way from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, Kenya.

He took to his Facebook page to type thesis, asking why God couldn’t save any of the 157 people lost their lives in the accident.

Amongst 7 reasons he ascribed to the traffic incident, he said God was drinking beer with Satan so he forget to save his people.

He wrote:

Is it not sad and mysterious that none of the 157 people who died in the plane crash yesterday was worth saving by any of the Gods believed to be up there?

I mean, so none of the 157 people which probably included children and infants was really a decent person that called on his or her God and the God answered?

There are a few possible reasons why none was saved:
1. God was sleeping
2. God was busy drinking beer with Satan
3. God couldn’t be bothered as he does not care about homo sapiens
4. God caused this evil to happen himself
5. God is powerless and couldn’t do anything
6. God has been dead a long time ago but no one came to tell us
7. There is no God

Nigerian soul singer, Darey Alade in his reaction to Babajide Sanwo-Olu's victory at the Lagos governorship election, has allotted to the governor-elect his first assignment in Lagos.

According to Darey Alade, Sanwo-Olu should ensure that his campaign posters and bill boards are taken off the streets and major roads in the state, once he resumes office.

“First thing Sanwoolu needs to do once he resumes office is to rid Lagos of all his campaign posters and paraphernalia! Restore some sanity!!”, he tweeted.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress won the election by defeating Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He will be succeeding Governor Akinwunmi Ambode come May this year.
