Theunbothered: The government is rewarding terrorism, all we ask is punishment for the criminal herdsmen yet they keep spitting in our faces.
They were talking about establishing cattle reserves yet still want grazing routes.
All these must be rejected by every serious southern leader. They shall receive due reward/judgement for how they treated the people God gave opportunity to lead. |

The entire middle belt and southern Nigeria has to be grateful to the Benue people especially the TIV who single handedly defeated Usman Dab Fodio jihadist war in Nigeria. Ever since then the Fulanis developed an eternal hatred for the Benue people and which is the root cause of the killings in recent history in Nigeria. Come to think of it, APC won the election both at the federal level and in Benue State, and what happen immediately Buhari was sworn in - Agatu killings started. How will you explain this? It isn't political because both the state and Federal were of the same political party, why was there no peace when the state should benefit military presence as a result of the affiliation it has with the Federal government, but no the killings continued unabated. It wasn't and has never been political but ethnical for the Fulanis never forgive no matter how long. This is the sole reason Southern Nigerians must fully support the Benue people in a time as these for they were instrumental to our safety in the days of yore. As for me Benue has my full support |

I don't think it is a sin before God except when your worship the tattoo or it influences you negatively. that's because you are no more living for yourself once you surrender to Jesus. You start living to honor Him. The person who asked this question wants to honor God |

I sincerely hope they would respond. It is shocking that world powers are not taking decisive action towards the growing insecurity in Nigeria. Be that as it may be, we as Nigerians have yo brain storm in finding ways to defend ourselves and our land by whatever means possible. Oh that corruption has not infiltrated our police and security personnel, oh that they pursue this career of theirs with unbiased passion. I feel for my fellow countrymen, yet I have hope that Nigeria will be great again, as good men choose to do what is right |

Where is Nigeria heading for? What is the cause of all these predicament that has befallen this nation. What kind of soldiers do we have in the Nigeria Army? What type of orientation were they given? Why will a soldier keep 2000 live ammunition to his personal custody ? For what use 1. Is it for self defense? No 2.To be sold to criminals? That's terrible, meaning he wasn't trained or rejected the training given 3. To kill those who have offended him or his loved ones? I just tire |

Rosskiiku: Thanks for your common sense approach, and sorry for your loss.
I always tell people they underestimate what they have in Nigeria.
You have grown men saying ignorant stuff like ''the police don't do anything except extort money at checkpoints''.
It's just pure foolishness.
That is the height of ignorance. The police patrol the streets at night searching for armed robbers.
It is not your flimsy gate or fence that keeps robbers from raiding you.
It is the presence of the police.
It is the police that keep the masses safe from armed robbers.
Even the mere presence of a policeman or police checkpoint is a deterrent to armed robbers and criminals.
To say ''oh they extort money from motorists, so let's get rid of them'' is the ultimate case of throwing away the baby with the bath water. It's pathetic that IPOB are using the security situation to push their agenda in a manner that will greatly affect southeast in the coming days if the attack on security personnel is not stopped. I weep for my people |

How I wish Northerners will point fingers to tell us who is behind banditry and Boko Haram in the north. But northerners would rather support their own like gumi voluntarily became their spokesperson
Southerners will continue to expose each other. Southerners can never unite What unity are you talking about. Unity in making a region once peaceful becoming breeding ground for criminality to grow. It's unfortunate people can't see the colossal danger of not having security personnel on the road. Perhaps you will understand better when you are terrorised on a broad day light in the city of Onitsha, dispossessed of all you have and the people around are looking like its just a drama |

What daily trust is saying is the truth. If the security men are not back on the road, those crazy touts will take advantage of the situation. In fact they are already taking advantage of if, I was robbed yesterday evening. Three guys on a bike attacked me from behind on express way with o long knife and went away with my bag containing my laptop. Many people don't know the implications of security men off the road completely it is another dimension of insecurity altogether. |
