If you don't know their history then you should stop quoting people!

Were you expecting Jose Mourinho to directly say he trained him or what? Oga I am telling you he was trained by Mourinho u Dey say he wasn't, I no understand.
I started following football in 1986 long before Mou dreamed of becoming a coach, Jose Mourinho first coaching job was at Porto, at that time Jose Peiseiro was with Real Madrid as assistant coach, in 2005 he was made coach of Sporting Lisbon while Mourinho was at Chelsea.
In 2006 Peiseiro moved to Al-Hilal before taking over as the national team manager of Saudi Arabia.
He has never worked under Mourinho, Rui Faria was always Mourinho assistant except for Inter Milan where Baresi was his assistant.

So tell me when and where he was trained by Mourinho ?

masseratti brother you see what I was saying the other day, banter and trolls are part of modern football. Now DSTV Nigeria is trolling South Africa where the company originates from.

how? He's even underrated sef.
Mbappe is not underrated, he is more of a burden than an asset because he hardly track balls and giveaway balls more than any other player. He was the reason PSG drew against Brest, he has played in a weaker league dominated by PSG all his career let's see what he does in Spain.

now I don't want to say things that will upset cos now am getting tired with all this front and back.. What I said in my earlier post is very simple, now try and read very slowly so that you can understand, there is a difference between trolling and banters.. You said it's allowed by CAF.. I said if they continue that way and it gets out of hand, one day CAF will explain it's self in court.

Now look into getting put of hand.. If CAF has a sport organization allow an unabated freedom for its handlers to say whatever they like on social media recklessly or troll other people, organizations or entities, they can be sued in court and the court can ask CAF to come and explain its self, you are opine that CAF can not be sued and am letting you know that hell no. It can be sued by anyone or any entity for reckless statement.. That has nothing to do with sport which is the jurisdiction of CAS.

At no point did I say Angola can or should sue CAF... And yes if CAF mess up Angola can sue CAF.
This current AFCON we are watching taking place in Ivory Coast was held because Ivory Coast sued CAF ass after CAF gave the hosting right to another country.

Let me reiterate for the last time if CAF or DSTV does not regulate what their handlers are saying on social media it will land them in court one day.period
No more argument, I am in celebration mood, Abidjan is my second home so my money was on Ivory Coast winning tonight and we won.

no organization under the sun cannot be sued, let me ask you a question, if me has an ordinary person got called out or got defamed by a handler of CAF on Twitter.. You has a lawyer who will i sue for false defamation and which court with i go to? Will I sue CAF or or the handler? Or will I go to CAS or a normal court of jurisdiction first?

Am not trying to be intelligent and don't bother trying to shift the goal post.. This thread is about DSTV and me adding CAF is a word or caution to them too, if care is not taken they will definitely answer one day in court.
To let you know CAS has to do with sporting activities, when you go beyond that and you start saying, posting things that will put the court or sport organization in trouble CAS has no jurisdiction, you can sue their ass in any court of Jurisdiction either where their headquarters is or you home country, oga if you are a lawyer.. I really don't know what to say anymore am done... You are right I agree.. Happy now?
You're still trying to make yourself feel good, I mentioned that CAS is not like your Appeal and Supreme Court where you find pot bellied corrupt judges, that should tell you I was referring to Angola suing CAF to CAS.
I have been involved with football since 1986 till date and I can tell you that Angola cannot sue CAF because of a simple troll.
As for DSTV what offence will Angola be suing them for ?
Defamation, cyber bullying or cyber stalking ?
Which one exactly, make it clear to me.

Stop trying to sound intelligent because you're not, you said CAF will be in court to explain itself soon, now you're making it look like you referring to DSTV after I appointed out your ignorance.

In my opinion, dstv is different because they provide other programmes besides sports so their customer base is much broader. You shouldn't antagonize your customers.
HahahahaI can't be trolling at my age, my 24 years old son should be the one doing that on social media not me. I am only saying things as they are, DSTV like ESPN and Sky ware all media houses, no difference.

Since morning I have actually being on Angolan Twitter space, a Nigerian was even asking what is the meaning of obrigado as that has been the most word used by Angolans since yesterday.
Well obrigado means "thank you" in Portuguese.
ESPN and Sky Sports trolls top top clubs and players daily, even trolls FAs.

DSTV is present in Angola and Angolans are not complaining, DSTV is involved in Sports just like ESPN and Sky Sports who trolls nations and clubs too, like I said it's just a football banter and it's part and parcel of the modern game.

What was the satellite for?
Kanu left Ajax in 1996 not 1995 and same with Finidi
The Satellite was for reception of signal for transmission of their TVs and also for CDMA phones.
My grandfather was a US trained cook and was working for the whitemen, he was given a four bedroom apartment within the quarters, I grew up with till I left in 1999.

1995/96 is still mid 1990s.
You don't need to have big satellite to watch DBN, ait and mbi. Normal Yagi antenna will pick them then.
Ok you didn't get admission on time. I get you now.
The satellite wasn't for DBN as DBN came on air in 1995.
You said they played for Ajax in mid 90s which wasn't correct as they left Ajax immediately after the 1995 UCL final loss to AC Milan.
Sports / Re: Like Mourinho Like Peseiro: How Portuguese Tactician Is Silencing His Critics by uniquetechng: 8:50pm On Jan 30
Agboriotejoye:

Finidi and Kanu played in Ajax in mid 1990s
Kanu left Ajax in 1996 after Olympics for Inter
What European football show was about is highlights
You mean you had kids while you were in 300L in Uni?
Finiidi signed for Ajax in 1993 and Kanu joined immediately after the U17 world in 1993, they didn't play mid 1990s as Kanu left for International immediately after the Atalanta 1996 while Finidi moved to Betis in Spain.
If you read my first comment you will see where I mentioned living in White men's quarters at Apapa where we had big satellite, and yeah seelected full matches were shown weekly on the European football show after highlights of matches across the leagues.

In my time getting admission to the University wasn't as easy as it's today, my son born before I got admission into the university.

Oga DBN never showed Eredivisie. European football shows was only for highlights.
The name you're referring to is Callistus Ebare.
Deji Omotoyinbo used to anchor Monday night football as well on ait.
Go back to my comment, this time read it slowly.
And yes every week one match full were shown on Wednesday night and Thursday night on the European Football Show, except you were too young to stay awake to watch matches then.
Remember Ten Hag played till 2001, even the 1993 U17 World Cup, 1994 World Cup, 1994 Nations Cup, the 1994 UCL final, 1995 UCL final, the 1996 Euro hosted by England, 1996 Olympics in Atlanta , 1997 U 17 World Cupas well as the world Cup in France in 1998 I watched all in my house without stepping out.

By the time Ten hag retired in 2001 I was already in 300L in the university and my first son was 4 years.

How do you think we were able to watch Finidi George and Kanu at Ajax ?

Agboriotejoye:

Are you sure you watched Eredivisie in Nigeria in the 90s? What channel pls?
Tuchel plays 3-4-3 not 3-5-2
Yes, even as far back as 1992 we were watching European Football show sponsored by Rothmans every Wednesday and Thursday nights, Serie A, Dutch League, Belgium Pro League, La Liga and Scottish Premier League matches were shown in full. Premier League wasn't popular at the time, I stayed awake all night to watch them and full matches were rebroadcast across Sports Programs on weekends on NTA2 Channel 5 as well as DBN anchored by Ebere Ibare, Deji Tinubu and Deji Omotoyigbo.
I lived in white men's quarters are Apapa in the 80s and 90s where we had big satellite.

Agboriotejoye:

Klopp played professionally. Where did you watch Ten Hag. I want to believe it was not in Nigeria.
Witsel starts as a midfielder then reverts into CB position. He played as a midfielder in Dortmund. But that's not a problem. It is generally agreed that Simeone uses 5 at the back sometimes. Simeone is not exactly the coach that comes to mind when talking about good football I hope you'll agree.
Ten Hag played for Utrecht and Twenty, maybe you never had the opportunity to watch Eredivisie in the 90s or you were too young, I started following the league because of Finidi before he was joined by Kanu and I was a huge Ajax fan at the time.
I didn't watch Klopp but I watched Conte, Allegri, Guardiola, Enrique, Pochetino ( was teammates with Okocha and Arteta), Simone, Izaghi, Deschump, Zidane, Koeman, and many others.

I was trying to point out to the other person that Simone dont play fancy football he was arguing, at Dortmund Witsel played in his natural position as a DM but since arriving ATM Simone has had to use him as a CB because he can't bench Koke in that DM role.

I had to go back to matches of 2020 to show him that ATM has been playing 5 at the back long before Witsel was signed.
Tuchel deployed the same 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 formation at Chelsea.
Sports / Re: Like Mourinho Like Peseiro: How Portuguese Tactician Is Silencing His Critics by uniquetechng: 7:23am On Jan 30
Agboriotejoye:

You watched Ten Hag play at utrecht?
You watched Klopp play at Mainz? His Dortmund team is recent. You're talking of 2013-14 just ten years ago and that's not his early coaching days.
The difference between Witsel and Mascherano is that Mascherano plays as a starting CB while Witsel starts positional as a DM before moving into CB position at atleti.
Barca don't play with 5 defenders unlike atleti
Not all coaches played professionally, I watched Ten Hag played for Twente and Utrecht. maybe you were too young then.

The formation you see before the start of a match is the starting position of the players, Witsel starts matches as a CB and remains there as a CB, Simone has only used three formation majorly since he started coaching 5-3-2, 3-5-2 and 4-4-2.

Sports / Re: Like Mourinho Like Peseiro: How Portuguese Tactician Is Silencing His Critics by uniquetechng: 10:27pm On Jan 29
Agboriotejoye:

Really? You watched Ten Hag transition? You watched Klopp too?
Anyways, having a DM drop into centre back when the team is defending is not playing 5 at the back. Ten Hag does it with Cas, Guardiola does it with Rodri.
Having 5 full defenders is different from that.
I will be 50 in a year from now, I watched Ten Hag at Utrecht not even Ajax where many people got to know him, and for Klopp he was at Mainz before moving to Dortmund, I watched his Dortmund team that had Lewandowski, Gundogan, Marco Reus, Mario, Hummels before Abumeyang was added to the side, so yeah I watched his early days as a coach.
For someone who watched Mexico '86, Italia '90, Senegal '92, Tunisia '94 and USA '94 what makes you think I didn't watch coaches who made their coaching debut in 2001 ?

Witsel plays as a CB not as a DM dropping to CB because ATM plays with three midfielders De Paul, Koke and Lino with Griezmann and Alvaro Morata upfront in a 5-3-2 formation.

I have attended two top coaching clinics so I understand football formations well, Machesrano at Barca was a CB same with Yaya Toure who played out of position before moving to Barca in 2012.
Sports / Re: Like Mourinho Like Peseiro: How Portuguese Tactician Is Silencing His Critics by uniquetechng: 9:02pm On Jan 29
Agboriotejoye:

Witsel is actually a midfielder.
Someone plays a 4-4-2 or 451 depending on the opposition
Witsel plays as a CB for ATM just as Mascherano partnered Puyol at Barca.
I have been watching that team from the time Simone was a player till he became a coach of Catania after being hired from River Plate, so I know everything about his game setup.
I started following football in 1986, I know everything about all the current top managers because I watched them transition frrom player to coach except for Mourinho and AWB who were understudy to Bobby Robson at Barca.

Remember Witsel only signed in 2022 from Dortmund, before his arrival Simone has been playing 5 defenders at the back just as Tuchel and Conte did.

Eerm... Mourinho and Simeone never played five at the back but that's not the issue
