The rich keep getting richer why the poor keep getting poorer, the middle class has been completely removed with the gap between the rich and poor widening daily.

That's why politicians will never do anything about the naira because they save their wealth in dollars not naira.

Great development.

But Nigerians are Nigeria's problem. I hope we don't sabotage it ourselves and go round to blame the government.

The custom's auctions have been hijacked by fraudsters that no one believed any genuine custom's auction again.

How do you hijack what you don't have control ?
Custom don't auction anything to the public, they sell them to themselves at ridiculously low prices especially impounded cars.
The public auction is just a gimmick to make the public believe that they are actually auctioning seized goods, senior custom officers don't buy rice as they always have more than enough from the ones seized from smugglers.

Ceremonial E-portal of course, all major impounded goods will still be sold to themselves at ridiculous prices.

That has been the practice and it's not changing anytime soon, Customs, Immigration and Police are some of the most corrupt government agencies in the country.

He admitted it belongs to his family but he resigned. Go watch that interview again.

Watch from 18.00 in this video. He never denied that NEXT still belongs to his family. He only explained that he resigned from the board of directors. If you watch further in that interview, he even openly admitted to putting state money in businesses/banks he has shares in.

The company has just two shareholders, himself and his wife and he is the major shareholder therefore the owner of the said company.
You can be a director but not necessarily the owner of the company, but you can't be a major shareholder and not be the owner of a company.

Ok.
May be you are right.

Are you now say..if you have a company you must not allow your company to bid for any government project as long as you are serving in that administration?
Even when you know your company have the requirements to bid and win a contract without your influence?
That's the law as a civil servant, it's to stop politicians from awarding contracts to themselves which will give room to overinflation of contract sums and embezzlement.
The rule is there, you can check it out yourself.
One thing should know is that there is no ignorance in law, laws are laws therefore no one should be exempted.

Wait o !
Nnaji's company was shortlisted for a project in a ministry where Nnaji was the minister while Bunmi's company was awarded contract in a ministry where is not the minister.

How do you equate both?
In civil rule both point at one thing, CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

Barth didn't resign because he think he did something wrong. He actually defended his action in several media briefings. He was however forced to resign as an honorable way to exit his office to avoid being fired as the situation was tensed and the government was struggling to redeem its image.
In fairness, Tunji Ojo didn't committ any crime. His company can bid and get contract if due process was followed and it met the criteria.
His company cannot get a contract from any ministry as a serving civil servants, that's conflict of interest.
Tunji-Ojo is the owner of New Planet Project.
It was discovered that Barth had a link with Geometric Power which was one of the company shortlisted for bidding of the two power plants, not that money was found in his company's account.
Barth also resigned his position in the company long before becoming a minister.

I will asume you are not joking equating the 2 scenario.
It doesn't matter whether Barth resigned or not.
He still held a stake in the company and his ministry was dealing with the company.
More importantly, he resigned because he thinks he did something wrong.
Has New Planet Projects executed a contract worth N423m with any ministry before ?, the answer is NO. So who do you think lobbied for this ? Bunmi of course.
Who owns the company ? Bunmi of course.
Who is the majority shareholder of the company ? Bunmi of course.

What a dumb post.
Barth Nnaji awarded contract to his own company and chose to resign.
Therefore, Tunji Ojo should resign because his company won a contract in ministry he has nothing to do with.
What a logic!
Geometric Power was one of the companies shortlisted to bid, he didn't award any contract to his company as the bidding process was cancelled.

He had also resigned his position in the company before becoming a minister, do point out the difference between the two scenarios, I am waiting.

Tunji-Ojo should resign just as Barth Nnaji resigned as minister of power in 2012, in the case of Nnaji he didn't even siphoned money from the ministry's account like over N423m was paid to Tunji-Ojo company but it was only discovered that he had a relationship with Geometric Electric Limited, one of the companies that hidden for Afam and Enugu Generation Company at the time.

Barth had resigned from the company long before he became minister, but he was still forced to resign as that's the honorable thing to do.

New Planet Projects Limited has just two major shareholders, Olabunmi and his wife and he is the majority shareholder there the owner of the said company.

New Planet Projects Limited wouldn't have gotten such N423m consultancy contract with his involvement.

Therefore the honorable thing to do is for Tunji-Ojo to resign his position as the ministry of interior.

I know of a woman in my former area who left her husband and children to live permanently in Synagogue on the instruction of TB Joshua and was there for years. The man and children were flogged by the security whenever they went there to demand for the woman, on one of such visit the man was locked up at Ikotun police station.
After many years the woman rebelled against Joshua and was released, she made attempt to confess na reveal what she experienced at SCOAN but suddenly ran mad.
This is a woman I knew personally not hearsay, this thing happened in 2007 when my son was 10 years old.

He owns the company as the major shareholder, there is nothing that will happen without his knowledge.

So if he had identified himself the governor would have let him go abi, inspite of the fact that he broke the law?
From the video he was riding in the same direction as the governor.
The governor's entourage were also reckless with their driving and behavior that day, I had to park just after Iyanera bus stop to allow them to pass, by the time I got to Vespa bus stop a commercial bus and a camry were already involved in a serious collision and the governor and his convoy didn't bother to stop and take care of the injured passengers.

BRT has been plying that route for more than a year.

As at 2022 it got to Barracks only now they also pick up at volks down to CMS.

Haba.

Something that there's Anti BRT lane patrol van that catches vehicles who pass there.
You can't tell me things about where I have lived for 40 years, my office is in Festac and I have properties in IBA and along Badagry expressway, there is nothing of such.

As I am typing this from Oke-afar where I and my wife came to check one of my land, I have property in IBA where my family lives so I frequent this axis, like I said no BRT Buses around here. You only find Okada and mini buses on BRT lanes as many parts of the roads has not been open to the public especially around Iyana-Iba.

How, why?

Did he not fault the law?

He was riding Okada on one way, in November in that same axis of Ojo barracks, a BRT killed an Okada man and two of his passengers who were on my way.
They vandalized the BRT despite them being the cause of the accident.

If we want a working country as we claim, obeying this kind of law should not be an issue.
One-way driving is very dangerous.
BRT Bus in Ojo ? That's a fat lie.

my brother, that coach selecting francis uzoho is what I can't actually understand,

i have seen that goalkeeper concede 3goals that are all out of the goal post area goals, two free kick goals which he has failed to stop any, yet he kept been selected.
Why not try another option as a coach.
The coach is grossly incompetent, he will definitely cost us the AFCON title.

yeah you have a point though, but unlike martinez of arsenal, okoye is not really our first choice in Nigeria recently.... Francis uzoho is.

This our calamity of a coach would most likely have still used francis uzoho as his first choice even if maduka okoye were to have been selected.

Maybe let's see his lack of selection as a blessing, he just started his first match for udinese this season in the league, hopefully he is gradually winning the heart of his coach into the first eleven at his club.

The.coach is actually the problem not Okoye, he was playing in Eredivisie which is a top league in Europe and was dropped simply because he made a mistake.
De Gae, Ederson, Martinez, Alisson, Kepa, Stegen and other top goalkeepers have made worse mistakes in the past, I don't want to even start with Onana.
Mistakes are part and parcel of football and no goalkeeper is immune to mistakes, dropping him after a single mistake will affect the keeper's confidence.
Uzoho himself has cost us many matches with his secondary school goalkeeping.
