Silencing which critique?

This Portuguese fraud is one of the worse coach of the Super Eagles with this Haram style of eyesore football though... Also with Gernot Rohr and Lars Lagerback.

I still prefer an Austin Eguaveon to this guy.
Mourinho achieved everything in football playing Haram football, the only that matters to Mou is result not beautiful football.
And yeah that's how you win a tournament, DR Congo are yet to win a single match but are already in Quarter finals.

brain54:

Well invasion and colonization are different...

Both might have different underlying purposes. The aim of an invasion might not be to colonise. Sort of what is going presently like the "invasion" of Ukraine.

But you are right. Russia had little interest in colonization because it already had vast amounts of land which was even a handful for her to manage at the moment.

She had enormous resources at her disposal and did not really need to colonise or exploit the resources from African countries - all the countries that scrambled for Africa did so because of the resources they could exploit.

Russia is a self sufficient country and even till today all the sanctions she has faced and still faces would have crippled any other country but Russia still stands because she has all the resources to be self sufficient so why bother.

Russia had little access to the sea... We can say by the time they were ready to navigate the Baltic sea and move to Africa most of the juicy and easy lands or parts of Africa had already been acquired by other colonial lords/countries.

Russia also had Siberia as her colony which herself also had enormous resources to sustain Russia was also difficult to manage so they had a lot on their plate. Yes Russia had a colony - Siberia.

The size of Russia alone is massive - bigger than a continent. It takes resources/logistics to manage such.

Funding such expeditions would actually have cost them more than they stood to gain in the end.

Same reason they sold Alaska to to US!
Russia became that big by invasion and annexation of smaller nations.

I don't understand the kind of opportunity you're talking about, maybe you should come simpler...

You mean Russia did not have the opportunity that Portugal, Spain, Belgium, France have??... Sometimes you guys just talk as if you're senseless...

Imagine saying Russia did not have opportunity to colonise Africa... The same Africa countries like Belgium colonise?...

Who can stop Russia then and now?.. No one. grin
Do you know that Russia/USSR is the only country that has invaded and annexed over 20 countries ? Yeah that's how Russia became the largest country by land mass, you can google the list of countries invaded by Russia.
To colonise a nation is expensive, as at the time Russia didnt have the financial means to voyage to Africa and colonised nations here.

How can that be their problem when they used same policy to win 8 AFCON? Come on guy. They used that same policy to be a global threat when they met Brazil and showed class. Baba, the problem is that the players want to pass all the balls to Salah. Cant u see as he left, the players became very determined to play their normal games, drimble, shoot the ball. There is this intimidation when u have a global star around u, ur squard immediately feels that the global star should take all shots. This was the problem with Ivory Coast too during Drogba era. Same reason Argentinal struggled at world cup too.
U saw a different Egypt as Salah left. I hope the coach can see this and not start Salah during their next match. Cant u see how the forwards now play great football.
Omo, Zamalek and Ahly are reliable club and have done it over and over again for Egypt. Na from there Aboutrika came out from who was mentioned by Jose Morihino as a superb player to watch. Egypt won AFCON 3 times in a row with these players. They deliver, they arent ur regular Nigerian club abeg.
nigeria that uses all foreign based players, how many AFCON have we won? Dont forget that Egypt also played final in the last edition.
The policy worked back then because the other teams competing didn't have much stars playing in top European teams, in the last year final Senegal fielded a starting eleven that had 11 players who played in top 5 leagues in Europe including Mendy and Mane, the Moroccan team that got to the semi final of the world Cup had over 18 players playing in top 5 leagues in Europe.
It may also interest you to know that in the past Egyptian Premier League don't allowed foreign players, in the last few years that ban has been lifted and some of the best players in the league like Percy Tau are foreigners.
Times have changed, Al Ahli cannot even stand an Everton team, it worked in the past doesn't mean it will work in 2024.

Egypt has become fire since Salah left. I told someone that Salah is the problem of Egypt. Since Salah became a star, the team struggled becus they all want to give all him all the ball to score. I hope the coach learns. The team play has improved. The coach needs to fix this issue.
Salah plays a different role for Egypt, he is actually their chief creator and often switch to the number 10 role unlike Liverpool where he cuts in from the wings to score goals.
Egypt's policy of relying on home based players from All Ahli, Zamalek, Future and Pyramid FC to execute international tournaments is their problem not Salah, Mo worked hard to take them to the final last year.

Aside shop rent

700k go run am well

Many of those stuffs there are biscuits n minor things that aren’t that expensive, don’t b surprised a carton might b 2k n 50 cartons will b 100k n once u see it assembled together u go think say na one big thing

Op don’t mind those people mentioning millions cos it’s obvious they don’t know much about it, start with any amount n u will start restocking with the turn over

U can even b lucky that some companies will give u goods on credit n u will pay later

Try enter contribution n tell them they should give u d first one so u can use it to stock your shop

U don’t need millions jare

Start first with whatever u have

The reason I don’t rate comments here on nairaland is because many of them don’t even know what they are talking about but they just want to call amount n feel big

If u doubt me, go to auto section and tell them u want to buy a bicycle n your budget is 50 million naira, they will always tell u the money isn’t enough

They will start calling ridiculous prices way above the budget
I opened something similar recently to keep my wife's younger sister busy, I spent over 2m without shop rent.
700k can't stock that shop, it may look small but it's not. By the time you get a fridge, AC, stock cartons of wine and the rest.

Why recruit criminals into an important security agency as the NPF, this will give the criminals the needed security cover to carry out their criminal activities unchecked.
The fact that a Police spokesman is defending this on social media makes it the more worrisome.

So why was he invited ?

Maybe you should ask all the technocrats in public office shut down their businesses to please a grumbling toad like you. Do you know how many SANs in public office collecting briefs on behalf of government?

I am at almost 50 years of age I and your father should be age mates therefore your miserable father is a toad.
With that said, in 2012 bid were submitted by two power companies to take over Afam and Enugu power plants, one of the companies were Geometric Power, a company discovered to have link with the then minister of power Prof. Barth Nnaji. Prof. Barth was able to proved that he had resigned his position with the company long before he was made a minister, though he was still a shareholder of the company just as Tunji-Ojo resigned his position but still owns the company.
There was public outcry and Barth resigned despite being the most performing minister at the time, he admitted he went against oat of office and tendered his resignation as expected.

Now tell me the son of a miserable toad, is their any difference between what happened to Barth and what is happening now ?

At least N423m wasn't discovered in Barth's account unlike Tunji-Ojo's.

he doesn't need to award the contract himself, common sense should tell you that he influenced it because the company has never won or bidded for such contract with the federal government.
Even my 24 years understands civil act far better than what you just displayed, once you are linked to a company awarded a contract by any ministry as a government official it's considered a crime and conflict of interest.

Do you think Dangote refinery can refined fuel that covers our daily consumption ?
Local supply alone can also not sustain the day to day running of the refiinery as they need at least 4m barrels of crude oil weekly to maintain 350,000blpd refining capacity.
At the end of the day the refinery still have to source crude f omg outside the country, it's operations will have no effect on any forex.
