Because I’m thinking and of the opinion that those customer support staff who usually respond to us on Twitter would be sacked. Otherwise what do you think the companies would do given that these jobs have become redundant? You put up a baseless statement as the topic....if you wanted to ask a question, put a question mark. |

The reality is that University education is not cheap. However, we could argue the point that our universities aren't up to the standards of charging premium fees.
Unfortunately, we have a system that isn't capable of sustaining people who went to secondary only. Which would have been a lot better for them to start working.
This was why I was against Jonathan building universities. What he should have done was build fully equiped vocational centers with seasoned tutors and good equipment where people can learn real skills that can be used anywhere in the world. Our university system is broken and keeps churning out half baked graduates, most of who will end up learning one skill or the other after at least 4 years in school to make ends meet.
But like always we hardly think |

BRATISLAVA: She's not the first to have it, so she doesn't need to dramatize it. Everyone will experience depression if they haven't already. If everyone neglects their commitments, what will happen? How many depressed people are all around the world and still do what their job contracts state? When did introversion stop people from following through?
There must be her colleagues who quietly take their medications, and she should do so, too.
Rape is different from mental illness.
If we believe everyone solves their mental health their own way, what are the therapy you mentioned and medications for? Why don't we allow everyone to do as they please and introduce chaos? After all, it is each person's way of coping with it. Well she is not dramatizing just expressed herself. And you keep mixing up introverted and mental health. She said she is an introvert and also saying she suffers mental health issues. And as for dealing with mental health by putting up a smiling countenance and "fulfilling the contract" a lot of people enter into depression and commit suicide. She is saying she doesn't want to get to that stage. QED |

myrrtle: This man is mad. BIafra is not a south east thing but an old eastern Nigeria thing. Rivers state belongs to the Igbos. Ikwerri people are Igbos and at the right time this stupid politics that the ikwerri elders are playing for them to be regarded as separate ethnic group will stop. It's a big shame that you can go as far as denying your identity and your own blood because of hausa fulani or to free yourself from the descrimation that the Igbos face in Nigeria.
Modified: All you ignorant people mentioning me and speaking out of ignorance should know that the igbo deity of Amadioha is in present day Rivers state. Some say the language that ikwerri people speak is different from igbo. They should also hear the Nsukka or Ebonyi people speak, and also research on the igboid languages, the DNA evidence, before coming here to show their ignorance. Ikwerre is igbo and the land is igbo. Know this and know peace. If you feel you are not igbo, you can leave the land and go back to where you came from. That land is igboland. It's an Amadioha territory, and no form of politics can change it. I thought it is self determination. You contradict yourself if you want to force people to join Biafra that don't want it. Don't become what you are fighting. |

BRATISLAVA: Oga, many people are scared to stand on stage and speak. Yet they are doing it. Many people are scared of heights, yet they are doing things high up.
All this mental health wokery is bullshit.
We can't hide behind it when we don't want to go out and do things. Will every introvert claim mental health when they get nervous in public? Will every extrovert claim mental health when they have to be quiet in public?
Just because we don't want to do things or they make us anxious, it doesn't mean that it is a mental health crisis.
The more people focus on it, the more ridiculous it gets. There are real mental health problems and there are these mockeries. All the publicity on it is for what purpose? Why not take her meds and quietly deal with it?
Very soon teachers who are scared of speaking publicly will insist they teach from behind screens to save their mental health. In fact, a president will refuse to address his citizens to avoid tinkering with his mental health. You are still missing the point. You shouldn't expect someone having mental health issues to resolve those issues in a particular way. Because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. She publicising it will actually help others. It's like when rape victims keep quiet, it creates a case for the rapist to continue. And if her way of dealing with it is to avoid the public, or a solution recommended by her therapist why should we question that? |

BRATISLAVA: How many people are on stage talking to people though they are introverts? How many other people have to overcome their fears and not hide behind the screen of "mental health" just because they don't like to do something? The more people appropriate things to "mental health" that aren't issues, the more they trivialize real mental health cases.
She's just being ridiculous and playing on wokery because she knows BLM will help her voice that ridiculousness. Why isn't she too introverted to play in public? If I get you right, you are blaming her for not overcoming her fears? Some one says she has mental health issues from having to deal with a particular aspect of her life and all you could come up with is "she is hiding behind a screen". Probably your kind will be happier if she starts taking drugs like some Hollywood stars do so she can "deal with it". And just so you know, it is those little things that you feel people appropriate to mental health" that more often than not leads to full scale depression. Sports is one of the ways you deal with stuffs |

Godada:

This matter has not gotten to the point of sending her away. Do you have a marriage sponsor? It's time to get them involved. Also you need to call a meeting among the elders to iron out house keeping and management. It is usually a male ego thing as well as a societal responsibility forced on men but at this age, it's not out of place for a woman to contribute to the needs of the family.
It's imperative that she contributes to the family welfare or at least she takes care of herself alone this should include her clothing, needs and paying for her shop. If she cant afford to pay for herself it spells she doesn't know what she doing and the shop should be closed.
About her insulting you, she should be warned in the strictest manner possible that a repeat cannot be tolerated.
On a final note, It's obvious you didn't know what you were getting into. Her asking about your salary and demanding for a shop should have raised red flags. But I can guess you got carried away.
It's not wise to spend so lavishly on a wedding when you could have had her choose between wedding and a shop. Your wife is a selfish woman.
I hope the elders from both family can resolve this matter. Your marriage is too young for such misunderstanding He should get a divorce, the earlier the better. |
