You hardly see Nigerians teaching coding or talking about programming related stuff on on social media, especially on Youtube. This is because this is actually a legit way to be a successful person and it involves a lot of hard work, determination and consistence.

Nigerians only like to propagate get rich schemes and fraudulent stuff like plagiarizing books to post on Amazon or some rubbish Ponzi scheme. The common thread that links all these is that they don't involve much work and all you have to do is just do the little, then sit and wait for money to start pouring into your account. I admit there are a tiny minority of people who make money from these, but it's usually for a short period of time until it crashes or they get banned from Amazon, or get arrested, but the majority of people don't get shit, rather they jump from one get rich scheme to the other until they realize they've wasted their time.

Programming will never be saturated with competent programmers especially in this country because majority of people don't have the discipline and delligence to actually become competent programmers.

For the past month I've not been on social media. I deleted my Twitter, Facebook Tiktok, Instagram and vowed to never check status on WhatsApp because that's a very huge distraction. I only use Nairaland and Reddit, particularly for programming related information. I deleted every movie from my laptop and haven't watched TV for weeks.

How many people can do this? How many people can sit at a desk staring at a computer screen for 12+ hours everyday?

Nigerians are very lazy and are addicted to quick gratification and this works in the favor of programmers who are serious, because it reduces the competitiveness of the job market.

You totally wrong @op, Nigerians are not lazy but "some" Nigerians are lazy. Nigerians are hardworking and sincere people but some of the bad eggs makes it look like all Nigerians are lazy and into fraudulent activities. It's obvious and most of the people from the developed states are aware but they will not make it public. Fraud is a global menace and not from a particular tribe or continent but the media escalate it when someone from Asia or Africa, most especially, Nigerians are involved.

You did just 12hours, and you here praising yourself. When there's an emergency, some of us work for 48hours or more non-stop.

Please note, Nigerians are hardworking and sincere people. Do you know how many Nigerians that's working for Google, Microsoft, meta et Al currently? Do your search properly next time before you come on internet to write nonsense about us.

It's called accountability. Fraud is normal thing in APC and PDP, you will never hear them query their leaders on how the spend party funds.. All the Nigerian labours should vote for their party coz I believe it's the only way we will move forward in this country. These people have been maginalized and now the speaking up. It's difficult to implement 30k minimum wage for a group that contribute 90% of the growth of acompany(country) but not difficult to pay werey politicians outrageous salary and benefits.

Your father has been working for the past 20years and still struggles to feed you, and you here shouting I'm batified or unified, your mumu never do.

Nigerians would be shocked to find out that Simon Ekpa was planted by APC to destabilize the east. APC government gave him relevance after arresting MNK. They give Simon Ekpa announcement to make and his foot soldiers will carry it out.

They realized that Obi is gaining so much ground, they gave Simon Ekpa a new instruction for a 5 days sit at home that doesn't make sense. I saw a post where IP0B denied ever giving such instruction and instructed people to go about their daily lives. But the blood thirsty APC government went ahead with their plan to attack the east.

The only sensible comment here. If FG is ready for peace in the east, they will fish out all those boys, eastern part is like room and parlour, no thick forest for evil doers to hide unlike the northern part of the country. Let them continue to distanilize the region, they will regret it soon.

I've been under a few other men of God but none stood out for me like pastor Adeboye. As in the power of God I've experienced from him, his humility and genuine walk and spiritual exercises just makes him outstanding among his fellow GOs.

Yesterdays holy ghost service was one of a kind. The power of God truly came down and I felt it. When he was doing the 360 turn, the power of God was just moving so heavily I felt I was going to throw up my spirit from within me. My spirit was literally trying to jump out of my body. Hmmm.... God is truly with Adeboye..
