Well, I think Nigeria will only be doomed if PdP wins. Their candidate has nothing to offer. He is the most inexperienced of the 4 top contestants. People only think he has experience because he has been contesting to be president since the 90s. But in reality, he has never been in charge at any level of government. I think I’ll put him just above Sowore because he was VP while Sowore was SUG president. In an ideal world, Atiku should be chatting with Sowore My worry with Tinubu is we have seen what he can do with power. Lagos is in his back pocket and nobody can aspire to be governor if you don’t play Tinubu’s game. And then his health too. Obi made a good decision to join LP. He has given people an option. For me Obi, Kwankwaso, Tinubu as president, in that order. |
Yimu |
Ireportlive:Leave him. He has no achievements. He is desperately looking for what to campaign with. TheWorstPresidentNigeriaCanEverHave |
God forbid bad thing |
Hmm |
Watcharena:It’s higher abi? |
Na why when people dey blame others wey dey japa, I go just dey laugh |
So what happens to his ticket? |
Lol. Governors fighting for themselves, claiming they are fighting for the masses |
Lol. Once they make a decision for their pockets, they’ll say it’s for national interest |
I’ve always said Tinubu will be a better candidate than that of the umbrella party. But I don’t think he is the best option. The job of a president is mentally and physically demanding anywhere in the world, with Tinubu’s current state, he shouldn’t be going to the Villa. His health and mind is one of the reasons I’ll pick Obi over him. This isn’t the Tinubu of 1999, everyone pushing him to run are just being selfish and looking for how they’ll govern Nigeria by proxy when we have a president who isn’t physically and mentally capable. Nevertheless, A sick Tinubu will be a better president compared to what PdP are trying to sell to us. |
Lol. Because they aren’t supporting your candidates, they are tribal bigots. You didn’t call them this in 2015 peepydelano: |
Lol |
odinga1of:Now you are talking |
odinga1of:Lol. Atiku is the worst president Nigeria can have. If you care to know, I have always been pro PDP, I was a member of PDP back in Naija. I don’t even want to talk about how your candidate was one of the key players that made us lose the 2015 elections. I don’t care what you think, I hope Obi wins. In all honesty the only issues I have with BAT is the Muslim muslim ticket which will set a bad precedent and his health issues but that doesn’t change the fact that a sick BAT is better than someone whose only achievement is fighting his principal and destroying the PDP because of his personal ambition. |
BAT was right. This cabal doesn’t mean well for Nigerians. BAT is a better president than Atiku any day any time. |
Wawu |
Bebigiby:No I won’t cry. These policies don’t affect me directly. Good for you if you have no political affiliation and you are genuinely concerned but if you are writing this epistle and you are a BAT supporter “you will surely cry later” I’m not trying to dismiss the fact that Nigerians are suffering but BAT and his camp are the ones that have been crying a lot publicly because this affects them. Look at FFK. |
Bebigiby:Lol. |
BATists seriously fighting back. Ya’ll are sounding like you care about the masses. You only care about yourselves. |
That’s what we all thought but after we tried it and looking at other countries that have tried it, we have come to the conclusion that age matters and I am sure Mr Obi has too. He knows better now. We all know better that age matters. End of. You guys use the word “ideology” casually. Please check the meaning of ideology first. Additionally, opinions change. Experience and other factors shape our opinion. Whether old or not old. It’s one thing to be old and strong, it’s another thing to be sick and old. It’s also different to be old and wicked/greedy. |
Lol |
Lol |
Hmmn. |
I disagree. It was this same Atiku that told Delta people and Niger-Delta people that he chose their son Okowa as VP out of love and suggested that VP is a stepping stone to the presidency. Now he is telling south east that their best chance to presidency is to vote. Shows you this man is full of lies and deceit. In my opinion, SE has a better shot at the presidency with APC than PDP. If after 24 years of supporting PDP, PDP didn’t even regard SE and someone from the zone didn’t emerge as 1 of the top 2 candidates in PDP primaries, then there is no hope in PDP. It gets to a point where you count a fruitless investment as a loss. SE investing in PDP is a loss. They should move on. Their only hope is if a 3rd force makes it happen for them or alternatively they start investing heavily in APC. It may sound foolish but it’s the best. |
I don’t understand how you will say Tinubu can’t hold a tea cup and then decide to support the worse of them. My prayer is that Obi wins but the truth is a crippled Tinubu is a better candidate than PDP’s candidate |
aylagos:Lol. Go and sit down. Which elective positions abeg? AYofLagos will just open his mouth and spit nonsense. You guys sit in Lagos and think you know everything about Nigeria. If there is anybody that was fortunate as a politician, it’s Oshiomhole. He became Governor because of how terrible Lucky Igbinedion’s government was. In short Oshiomhole had no political value at that time, he couldn’t even fund his campaign. It was people like Ize Iyamu and Edo PDP bigwigs who were aggrieved that Obasanjo tried to impose a candidate on us that secretly supported Oshiomhole. How else did you think he was able to fund his campaign and become governor? Oshiomhole of 2007 in Edo state is the Peter Obi of today. Adams defeated godfathers in the state, it wasn’t because he was special, it was because the people chose him. Oshiomhole had no structure, no funds, had no base in Edo State. Edo people backed him because we had a terrible government and they voted for him massively at the polls. I didn’t vote for him though, I always knew he was not different. Even when he was denied his mandate, Edo people stood by him. This is the one of the reasons people were angry when he tried to play godfather in the state. Today, Nigeria is in the same position, failed government and the people are backing Obi. You now want to tell me Oshiomhole was perfect timing and Obi is daft because you are supporting Tinubu. If there is anything that mirrors Oshiomhole’s march to Osadebe Avenue, it is Peter Obi’s emergence. The way Edo people rejected PDP because of Igbinedion and voted for Oshiomhole, that’s how Nigerians will reject Tinubu because of Buhari and vote for Obi. |
Hmmn |
Lol. Everybody must push bigotry and tribalistic narrative in an attempt to demarket LP and Obi |
If that’s the girl’s picture up there, then Adaobi is pretty! |
Lol. He started the game, I remember unfollowing him in the early days of the election campaign because of his controversial posts. You can’t trigger people and expect them not to react. When they react you come online to cry foul. That’s wickedness. My point is, you can’t decide how dirty you want a dirty fight to be. NB: I am talking about the part where he called out lies, intimidation and abuse. I do not support death threats or any form of threat. That’s just a step too far. |
