superstar1: Tbh the eastern region came into existence in the 1950s. What she explained up there started existing in 1900. And like she mentioned the eastern, western and northern regions are simply administrative regions and do not have any recognized borders whatsoever. Almagamation was simply joining the Northern protectorate and the Southern protectorate(which included the colony of Lagos). NIgeria will either remain one nation or dissolve along the lines which it was amalgamated. The reason all these Biafra and Oduduwa republic is just child play and waste of time. Until people begin to demand the resolution of amalgamation and Southern Nigeria and/or Lagos Colony becoming (an) independent nation(s), nobody will take the agitators serious |

The "giant" of a continent will be in Biden's DM begging for vaccine doses just like the way the begged for ventilators last year. Oh, I forgot, they banned Twitter. |

Lol. And the stupid BMOs will come here to be talking about sovereign nation when it has to do with twitter ban and their stupid government policies. They forget that Nigeria will be in shambles if not the aid they are getting from these foreign countries. UK funds this in Nigeria, US funds that, China funds this, EU funds that.... every time ffs! As for the topic of the thread, I have nothing to say other than the federal & state governments should take up it's responsibility and do the needful. You can't claim to be the giant of a continent and still be collecting aids meant for developing countries. Developing giant ni. |

Politics / Re: I Will Be Deleting My Twitter Account For Now - Aisha Buhari-photo by Upton: 2:37am On Jun 05, 2021 |
Who cares for real? They threatened war and referenced a genocidal attack carried out on a specific group of people, twitter deleted the tweet as it goes against their policy which instigates violence and they retaliated by banning Twitter. They have an agenda and they will not let anything stop them from achieving their goal, even if it means taking away your freedom of speech and information. My thoughts are with everyone who wants out of Nigeria but haven't been able to do so. You deserve better! 1 Like |

Racoon:Hehehe. To be honest, the union isn't really the problem, our system of governance is. Even the UK, Canada, US and several other countries are a group of nations united into one country. Nigerian State governments should be given more powers to control their own resources, people, education, healthcare, security, inshort everything that directly affects the people, like the US and Canada does. The Federal government should focus on national issues like borders and national security etc. There's too much power in the centre and those at the centre will not want to relinquish some to the states, so we are stuck in a system that isn't working. On the downside, our leaders are greedy people and governors could turn into demigods if given more powers. 27 Likes 1 Share |
