just as in my last comment here.

CONGRATULATIONS for a well deserved victory.

But can you guys do us a favor,
celebrate, as much as you want but can you exclude real madrid from your comments(taunts). The victory in the final was against Man U and not real madrid nor Jose Mourinho.

Once again congratulations.
looking forward to a competitive next season both in laliga, cdr and ucl for all spanish teams.

viva real madrid.

now those who accussed mou of negative football will realise that he deployed the right defensive tactics suited for this barcelona team.

then he was accussed of being lilly livered, now they will have realised he once again was right.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Will Chelsea And Arsenal Fans Support Man U Against Barcelona? by usbcable(m): 7:12pm On May 27, 2011
i feel just like last years inter vs barca ucl semis, most guys 9ja and non9ja will support man u.
because of the simple reason that they've all tasted defeat at barsa's hand fairly or controversially.
and sadly IMHO last years joy may not repeat itself 'cos barsa are playing incredibly now and they've also learnt the bad habit of play acting.
so they have the good traits which is closer to perfection and they've iherited the viral traits which is simply hollywoodistic.

sorry guys barsa wins tomorow.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by usbcable(m): 6:51pm On May 27, 2011
i feel the UCL classico(1st leg) hurt barcelona's image a lot. Until now the team was flawless both in conduct and play, sadly the behaviour on that day is what most folks have been looking for to crucify the team.

As much as I HATE the events that transpired that night, I dont cry over it since I know most footballers playact on d field(albiet barsa own 2 mush dat nyt).
Its like barcelona just played into the hands of those always wanting something to crucify the team with.

all I know is decisions go against you today but tomorrow they will surely favor you. Am just waiting for RM's day too.

That's Atleti's fault. Atleti are very inconsistent. They usually struggle and only recover close to the end of the campaign to qualify for Europe. Aguero is really good. He has had to carry Atleti on his back all season since Forlan's demise. His goal return for Ateti is pretty impressive and he's only 22. Pray he joins Juve or any club but this club.
you are no different from the old man cryuff. lipsrsealed

medjai:
I think the Callejon move was pretty smart in the sense that he's young and also good. I've watched him play a lot of times and truth is, he's the business; very promising. He and Osvaldo combine to devastating effect for Espanyol and on their day they can take almost any defence apart.
I guess this paves the way for Pedro Leon's departure.
if its pedro he is replacing then too bad 'cos pedro didn't really feature much in the first instance.

moreover, its all media hype IMO.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 5:46pm On May 26, 2011
while he was in the castilla he was a point man
when he now joined espanyol he gradually migrated to the wings.

but why buy something you will never need on the long run.

i feel some people in the hierachy just dont want Adebayor. so they try to sign a tall striker with same strenght.
maybe they couldn't price away llorente.
but why do a remix of a song when the new lyrics are no better off than the original undecided

callejon/altinthorp/sahin are not better than the present.
at most sahin has the record of a performer.
but having UCL experience alone dont count enough to sign hamit.
and what the hell reason do they have to re-sign callejon( abi na because na former madrid alumni).
SMH.

Walahi, God bless you. but again the guy fit don colo ooooo shocked

I could have bet my life on it that those guys were not his signings. but never say never.

The only thing he ever asked for last season was a striker which when he got the team improved overall.

na politricks go finish all those old baba wey dey madrid.

sahin is like ozil
altinthop cannot be placed as a better substitute for anybody
and callejon of all people dont add up except they want to give adebayor back to city, which i dont understand the delay in the transaction if thats what they want.

and just as valdano once commented, what is needed is not a structural adjustment but more of a cosmetic. and these we noticed in the later part of this season.

i tire for the hierachy sef angry

my ''church mind'' says there is much more to the decision than we know.
there are so many powerful folks in RM, and its just odd that perez could fire valdano.

both guys have come a long way together. so maybe its not just the valdano-mourinho saga that lead to his exit, but many more things must have happened.

khanye:
Aguero cool
if Mou signs this guy then we are officially-technically in trouble.

I still dont know what they want to do with manolito with the arrival of callejon and the availability of morata. although morata's case is understandable, na callejon it cant fit explain at all.

I thought any Madrid fan would know that sacking John Toshack mid season(November 1999) brought good fortunes to Madrid.

Liverpool sacking Roy Hodgson was the best decision made this season

Bayern sacking Louis Van Gaal and klinsmann mid season were perfect decisions then
o.k then,

the reasonable thing to do in mid-season is to sack any sub-performing or non performing coach.

does ^^^^ sound like a better approach.

No club is undefeatable, but Man Utd's ability to defeat this barcelona will have to do with many things of which it all depends on the coach's ability before and during the encounter.

but in all sincerity I dont think Man U can, but I believe they have the capacity to.

And Messi didn't help Argentina to the finals of Copa America in 2007 and Q/finals of the 2006 and 2010 world cup?
hmm hmm hmm
since you are good at bringing up the negatives of any acomplishment lemme give you one.
in the round of 16 match against mexico in SA2010, 2 of argentina's goals were illegal and mexico were denied valid calls for a penalty in the game, so he may not have actually gotten argetina to the quarters. grin grin grin
but seriously, he actually was being literarily expected to play like Apollo or Zeus in the world cup of which he didn't live up to the pressure.
but i dont blame him I blame the press. wink

Ancelotti should have been sacked in January if this was the plan all along. Why waste half a season when you knew you were going to fire him anyways?

Oh - because you also sacked his second in charge and had no Avram Grant who could come in and hold fort till the end of the season. By the way, you appointed a coach (Emenalo) he never wanted to work with. Yet the blame is on Ancelotti.

Meddling from above eroded Carlo’s authority and his ability to turn things around at Chelski. You don’t go from double winning to rubbish in a year. While Chelski’s form was poor, winning the league with 80 points showed the league overall was poorer at the top this season.

First hire a new coach, sell off a number of ageing/unwanted players and then try to ‘rebuild’ all in the same summer? One step too far I think. . . .the results will be interesting to see no doubt.
sacking a coach mid season is suicidal
IMHO
and what now becomes of our former super eagles player emenalo?

thank you as if they all are blinded by their jealousy for another man's success in something.

mention mourinho's success and achievments as a coach they start talking about guardiola being the true ''special one''
mention real madrid success as a club they will shout its still way behind barsa style of play
mention ronaldo's success as a footballer they cease to have rest again and start telling you of messi's acomplishments.

they always tend to think everything and anything has a reference to them.

@ statement in caps: That would have been the icing on the cake grin Messi won the league and is in the CL final, scored some spectacular goals and overall, was a better all round performer. He was the best player in Europe and by some pretty long distance too. He owned Ronaldo in pretty much all of the el-classicos this season.
one big problem you have which is quite incureable is your disdain for Ronaldo.

he made a history, and the point you and firedrops refuse to see is that the pichichi is not messi's property nor was the record previously owned by him.

Ronaldo's feat was to beat telmo zara's and hugo snachez's 38 goal record which he achieved.

what is your problem with that. the record is not about winning the la liga nor about any other present player in any way. cant you read the heading of the topic. its not about comparing CR7 vs messi, its about history in the making.

no body is asking for all this analysis
last season messi scored the highest number of goals in europe but was able to win only one trophy(la liga)
no body said all the goals scored were worthless because he didn't win the treble.
sneijder won a treble without many goals,  we know the rest of the story.

na wa for una sef simple english.

topic reads he breaks a 21 year old record in his second attempt, and you all barge in here just to discredit him and credit messi as if the record was messi's.
did the articles in any media even talk about messi.
yet you all want to kill yourself over something totally not connected with his feat.
