@usbcable

i like the pictures you posted but will want you to also objectively state if that lunge by pepe was towards the ball or to leg. now try conceptualise if that stud had the contact with Alves leg which it obviusly would but Alves saw it coming and withdrew leg in time.

What does the rules punish? not just actual tackles but also intent that look vicious.

to say a red was harsh i may agree but that it was no card offense cos there was no contact is just too being bias!
check all my earlier posts, all I said is was it worth a red card?
Watching the replay, I noticed the ref was not close to the event and judged the offence based upon shouts and cries from the barcelona players.
a referee in any derby match should the least not allow any of the players approach him for any matter as if he takes action it will breed room for controversy about his decision.
And thats where d ''wolf'' got it wrong.
showing your studs is a punishable offence(when contact is made) but having an intent to foul a player is not a red card offence and worse still a straight red card with no previous booking.

but this is football live with it but acknowledge it
what goes round would surely come around.

to my barca friends here I say congratulation but beware of the revival of los blancos and maybe we may pull an up set in the camp nou.

btw,
It goes to show that octopus predictions is crap. Its silly mythology come idolatory

From Madrid's website?

Seriously, don't sulk. Even Scholes can argue that he didn't touch Zabaleta. Pepe should not have shown studs. If he had actually made serious contact with Alves, his leg could have been broken, a la Eduardo. Referees usually punish intent.

See the tackle on Eduardo that broke his leg. You think Alves should have left his leg there for Pepe to break?

[flash=350,400]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2s0Sz54BAY?version=3"[/flash]
scholes tackle got zabaleta on the thigh, meaning the boots were more or less horizontal.
pepe's ''lunge'' was below the calf, was not horizontal and it didn't in the least touch alves. So Mr. AJ how are they same talkless of ed's broken leg.
am getting disgusted by the kind of arguments being put forward by all you bunch.
its appalling to say the least.

We all try to defend our clubs but when people you aften see as being more objective than you on most occassions show a base outlook towards the truth then its a real shame.

What do you think about the challenge? Let's all be objective. Remember 4 yellows and a red had already been showed before this.
4 yellows to both teams players of which non was Pepe's
and
1 red card to a goal keeper that would not suit up to even play.

Walahi I would be dissappointed in you of all people if you continue this way.
If it was eyo or holy or dipsex i wont be surprised and I would definately care less for one rudeboy.

@ Ajanlekoko,

I vividly remember reading through the barca thread, where you all(except for eyoniggar) accussed Guardiola of being ''naive'' and ''misread'' the past matches.

So dont give me that bull crap that Guardiola is now a master in mind games.

He got fed up with mou's antics and he voiced his discontent and thats it nothing more and nothing less.

lest I forget, Congratulations on the victory

and I ask you all,  please answer this question

was Pepe's foul a Red Card offence?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by usbcable(m): 10:08am On Apr 28, 2011
within the last few days
I observed a great sense of fear from the ranks of Barcelona supporters here
most talked so much about trying to get a draw, and only a tiny handful had envisaged they could actually win.
now they won 2-0
the song has suddenly changed

Sadly I couldn't see the match, but feelers I get point to the fact that the red card's were undeserved, and sadly my barcelona colleagues here even the most respected ones amongst them refuse to acknowledge it. and that says alot about their perceived courageousness.

But just as my very good friend Pharoh said ''its not over yet'' and I believe so.

and just as they were drooling about before the return leg of the league classico about giving us another ''manita'', they've started yanking about again like poisoned ivy's without a remedy.

its just amazing how a single man can so much put fear on a whole myriad of barcelona fan/player/COACH/mgt.

Mourinho is indeed a great person, and even in defeat he will forever remain ''the special one''

Let everyone talk and be able to really deduce some salient points about thier mentalities and thoughts.
I really enjoyed it.
Though I felt a vey strong and compulsive urge to just respond to some comments on the threads.

All in all,

CONGRATULATION TO THE CULES.

God knows I dont even pray for one.
it will cost money, time and most probably more lives.

but i just thought of it that, if assuming in the slightest of margins which I deem improbable, a rerun were to happen does cpc/buhari/his nl supporters and the evil rioters think he will have as much votes as he did this last election.

i really doubt it.

even more do i doubt if pastor tunde will show face again to rally support for bb camp(since he has refused to utter any word)

Indeed pastor tunde's word of a ''wild, wild north'' did come to pass and i doubt if he is happy about it.

i even foresee a lower vote count for gej too due to apathy for the violence that occured.all in all gej will still win IMHO.

buhari and bakare both erred big time.
Politics › Who Would You Vote For In A Rerun? by usbcable(op): 7:27am On Apr 22, 2011
within the levels of accusations and counter accusations in the last few days, who would you vote for as your president if a rerun was the verdict given by the tribunal/court.
who you still vote for gej/buhari on same principles which you choose them in the first election
or
would you choose a different candidate based upon their handlings of the post election events.

we all know what they both did and didn't do or what they said or didn't say on time.
We all know what actions they took and what steps they didn't foresee as necessary to put in place to check the eventualities of rigging and post election protests and violence.

lets hear your choice and views if a rerun was to be the final decision.

Precisely what I'm saying. Del Bosque masterminded RM's most successful spell in modern history. Why was he sacked? Both Del Bosque and Fernando Heirro were released unceremoniously. . .na board room madness be that.
So thats to nullifies your suggestion that RM wants to win and win in style hence the wahala they are dishing on JM.

Del Bosque's sack was one of the many after-effects of Madrid's failure to win the CL in 2003 following the 3-1 loss to Juve. Hierro's contract was also terminated.
Pellegrini was sacked because:
The 4-1 defeat to Alcocorn. They found it simply unacceptable.
He failed to win trophies despite over €250m investment in players.
and thats my problem with them.
WIN AT ALL COSTS.

would it make sense to kill your child just because he came second in an exam of 300 brilliant students.
Absolutely NO.

there is absolutely no need for the players to be scared.
if we loose

but if we win
the next day headline will be; is this the beginng of the end of barcelona

no matter what happens'' we will continue working''

and expect sensational headlines from the press nonetheless.thats their speciality.create a tsunami in a bathtub.

^^ That's right, Eyo. The Madrid hierachy want to win and win beautifully. That's why JM's arse being grilled.
that is not their problem IMHO.
beauty is not wanting to look pretty like someone when you have you own way of beauty.
the greatest diservice you can do to your self as a brand is to want to take up similarity to another competitors brand.
it will come back to haunt you.
WHY?
its the same set of people critisizing you for not looking ''pretty'' and ''yellow'' as sandra that will come back and accuse nkechi of bleaching and use of wig and artificial air.

barcelona's way of play is not a laboratory project but is something that came to be through diligence and continuity within the players coach and staff(and board) genearlly.

its stu'pid to want to play like barcelona when your name consists of two words to say the least.

we everyday hear that, the part to success lies in identifying your personal strenght and weaknesse and not wanting to rank xerox another persons idea. thats plagiarism and fraud.

BE
YOURSELF
thats what JM does and thats what gives him adoration from fans of everywhere he goes.

why am I even ranting sef, these over feed pot bellied millionares would still sack him at the end of the season and go ahead and employ benitez and sack him again. SMH.

sad sad sad sad sad

this morning I realised how corrupt and selfish some of the hierachy in RM's board are.

imagine someone calling himself a fan and wanting a rival to win huh its a sick mentality honestly speaking.

it good in one way now we are getting to see the faces of those that never allows any coach to blossom in the dugpit of bernebau.

sadly, JM is also being put to similar troubles and he may just simply walk away to another club cry

why cant those moofos just let him be do his work and mind their phucking bizness.

none of them was and will ever be successful as a coach like him, so its all just bad belle syndrome thats worrying them.

and that calderon is the worst of them all. angry

I just hope we win tonight 'cos if we dont the i'diots will shout hallelujah and stoke the fire the more.

why cant these old buffons just let us have a coach for as long as the contract is meant to be and not as long as their useless ego is satisfied.

i weep for my club and JM cry cry cry
