I share a little of that sentiment but not ALL (so please don't direct ibime's question on jorginho to me)
Jorginho is not special and what he does is so simple and doesn't merit the praise and backlash he always receive. We've seen Gilmour play that role for us and perform on par or even better than jorginho against the high press of fabinho and co.

The regista that i know are so hard to dispossess on the ball and because of that they draw 2 or more opposition player to themself thereby creating space for other midfielder and attacker high up the field and quickly releasing pass to them to progress easily but jorginho can't do that slight press from a player will result to him playing back pass but we can assure we will control possession in our half.

Jorginho is basic nothing special but the backlash sometimes is way too much.

While mount makes very poor decision in the final third, havertz usually takes a lot of time before making a decision.

Another problem i have with both of them is their very poor skill set. They can't dribble at all!! They always rely on passes to beat defenders. Their take-ons are usually very bad.
I've noticed that even Lukaku can delete players and dribble better than them. If you have wingers who can't dribble and take on players, you're bound to suffer. That's why people prefer pulisic and Hudson to them. We're crying out for dribblers with better end product.

Parallel rate is the real rate. Emefiele should stop this nonsense. To exchange Naira onto any exchange eg Binance etc requires the parallel rate. Most Nigerians can't access Forex except at parallel rate. Most foreigners can't access exchange except at parallel rate.

Also its common knowledge that CBN rates is useless to the average person as no one gets to buy at those rates. If you are in Lagos today and want to buy FX, the surest way is to go to abokis and their rate is different from CBN rates

This is the problem. We dont need penetrative passes especially with a Lukaku who plays with his back to a goal/defenders and looks for runners all the time. Of course except during counter attacks or Isolated scenarios.

Our best forward pairs IMO should be Werner on the left, Lukaku at the center and Havertz on the right. Pulisic coming in for Werner on the left while Ziyech for Havertz on the right. We need goal threat and quick transitions in the final 3rd to keep all defenders busy

Mount played on your psyche. He failed in his primary duty and he decided to make up for it by chasing every Tom. Lemme assume you watched the game well, did you notice Mount clogging spaces? Sometimes he follows the sequence of play down to another person's position. That is what running like a headless chicken means.

We didn't need to press Zenith; heck Zenith had no intention of playing on the front foot. What we needed was to break down their defence and Mount's effort toward that end was abysmal.

We needed quick transitions and runners in the final 3rd. Ziyech and Mount held on to the ball longer than they should have leaving Lukaku Isolated.

All Zenith defenders had to do was drop back and hold. At some point there were 3 defenders on him yet clowns like Ziyech and Mount kept looking for defence splitting passes probably to fool people like Popizaino when the better alternative was to drag the defenders out. Wrong options all the time. Alonso was also guilty but at least he kept it moving when the ball was in transition

No way both of them come out of that game unscathed.
