schurley: I've noticed how Chelsea academy players are being thoroughly scrutinized, hounded and degenerated on this board, but the same set of people will keep spreading love and light to expensive flops we sign....using English words and grammar to surgacote their failure.
Saw a play making clip of Ziyech today with Werner squandering tons of chances, but it's Abraham that should insulted and call all sort of names even after trying is best getting goals, while the Blonde Theo Walcot should be pampered and given all the time in the world too come good. Imagine having a striker that could score tap-ins on the pitch wey dem dey yab Abraham for scoring, we for humiliate Madrid and City for Cl last season.
The same people are always on the tail of James, Mount and Cho misdeed using microscopic eyes to dissect and enlarge their flaws. But Jorginho, Kovacic, Ziyech, Havertz despite all having noticeable holes in their game are giving free pass. I'm not making a case for youngsters but the double standard is just appalling.
I don't blame all our youngins going out of the club for lack of appreciation by the fans....look at Tomori benching Milan captain, Lamptey attracting interest in Brighton, Guhehi one the best championship defender too gone, Livramonte considering leaving
Abraham is this is that, but all our striker signed since Costa never deliver im output. I guess the hating and badmouthing the academy players whether right or wrong is now the new cool.
In what world is Tammy good enough?. The fool also thinks he's really that good to be rejecting contract talks repeatedly
Abraham has been placed in the market for 40 million pounds for so long now yet no club has indicated interest at that price
Despite the General need for strikers, Not one single top club is remotely interested in him, Even Aston Villa is balking. Well maybe Arsenal will rescue us
swiz123: I was closely observing Mount's spatial awareness yesterday and I was embarrassed. Dude's IQ is too low to manipulate spaces... Harry Kane even did it better. His manipulation of the space between Denmark's defence and their mildfield (Particularly Horjberg who could have done better... Not that I am surprised he didn't though) made them equalize that goal.
Donstan18, your birthday has passed so please report here so you will be dragged accordingly
This is one reason I would never advocate for him as a CM despite calls here. He tends to drift a whole lot leaving plenty pockets of spaces in the middle. I saw a lot during Lampard days yet he would always come out blameless. T'was as if I was watching something else
I would rather he continues among the forward lines (maybe as a sub) despite his underwhelming stats. At least we benefit from his counterpressing.
Ibime: That criteria lends weight to the criticism of Jorginho as a player you can't be consistent with, and one of the reasons Pjanic is a multiple league Champion while Jorginho has no league title to his name at 29. . . cos he drops you points constantly
Ibime: He was knocked off the ball shoulder to shoulder, trying to shade Chiesa off the ball from behind. Nothing escorting about that unlike Escortinho that Sterling ran past like he wasn't there
I have to tell u guys though. It was really painful having to read all that Jorginho carping from Ibime especially with all the sublime responses I had for all his comical lines.
To all the haters, Let me just put it out there that Jorginho will be renewing his contract soon and given his playing style; he'll most likely be playing well into his mid 30's.
Oh...did u also know that Jorgiboy has an exceptional injury record. He was last injured in 2014 and just for 7 days. He's probably top 10 for the most minutes in international football this year still.....
Ibime: Which controller claims he's being marked and hide. Any controller worth his salt takes two steps toward the defenders, asks for the ball and uses a half-turn to spin away from the man on his back, unlike your belleface controller who only turns when he is in 5 yards of space, or he hides or passes the ball back where it came from. Those with some body strength like Mikel, Busquets, Dembele even want to feel the player physically on their back so they can use the players own body weight against them to spin away.
Go and watch Xavi pirouette videos if you don't know what it means to be a controller. E no get how you want mark Xavi that he won't ask for ball.
chic2pimp: I know you hate Jorge but I make you right on this. Anytime either Chiellini or Bonucci has the ball, rather than demand for it, He points and tells them to pass it to other players.
Obviously cos he's been manmarked. Creating space for other players to make a move
donstan18: I grew up in Igbo land, I know my people very well. We are not accommodating, most gullible, most tribalistic, intimidating and hardworking.
When people call the Northerners gullible, I laugh, they do theirs strictly because of teachings they get from their religion, the South Westerners do theirs for political reasons and to stay neutral and safe, the igbos do theirs because of their hate for other tribes[Worse of them all].
Associate with fools and you’ll start seeing yourself as a god. MNK is taking advantage of most Igbos, the easiest way to get support from igbos is to say bad about other tribes, e no pass am. Just have money, small connections and fame, then start criticizing and saying disgusting things about other tribes and watch the Igbos worship you.
That’s the only reason MNK is famous, he’s a coward, a piece of shiit with no sense, took his family abroad come dey cause problems for east. He almost turned Owerri to Afghanistan, our peaceful Owerri, wanted to try it in PH, Wike warned him and his gullible followers that he’ll cut them into pieces if they should bring their madness to ph.
See the weyre wey talk say he will go to Aso rock and bring Buhari head, to slap this boy just dey hungry me.
