Havertz10: Havertz has scored against liverpool
Had an assist in the super cup final
All this season
Mount has been stinking since the euros but he is grouped with havertz
That other one is playing narratives with me, pushing lukaku agenda to suppress how pathetic mount was, this thread For someone who played just 1/3rd of the entire game. I ddnt even see him get into gear yet all the warthogs are out |

Havertz10: Some people will say anything just to get likes
Anybody that has been paying attention will notice that havertz has had his best games playing from the right and roaming, tuchel pins him to the left and he struggles, even if you check his career stats, havertz doesn't play from the left, it's done to accommodate ziyech but it's better he doesn't even play than playing him out of position
Tuchel will have to settle for havertz lukaku werner, that will eventually be our front 3 In that Arsenal game, I did notice both lukaku's and havertz's going for the right half space near the box. Almost as if they were clogging each other's movement there. Good Job on TT for spotting it. Even in the last game I did see Lukaku drift there. Pay attention to Lukaku's movement in the final 3rd, u'll see what I'm saying Could be why havertz needed to be moved to the left side, which as you said doesnt look good for his individual progress. Hopefully tuchel finds a balance. He's good at tinkering stuff and finding solutions |

Well cant blame the people. they've been desperate for an academy superstar since the retirement of John Terry.
Sadly they pitched their tent with the wrong person; one without a football brain. All they are just doing is setting him up for an epic fall.
Particularly liked that TT didnt feature him, we ddnt need all that useless attention on the day. The boy who had a dream my a$$ |

This happens a lot with him |

If there's someone we absolutely dont need in this match, its definitely Mount.
Look at all the space in the middle. Add that to a Mount that also drifts wider, The situation definitely becomes worse. Only way now is to take out Saul or probably change to a back 4. Odoi as a WB is rubbish |

Shukusheka: Saying this once again: 1: By the time he settled the ball on his feet, Lukaku was already offside. 2: The only way that ball gets to Lukaku is if he hits the pass one-time as he received it from Kante. 3: The only way he hits the pass one-time is he had noticed Lukaku's run (change of direction) before the ball got to him. 4: One-time weighted pass from the inside foot is difficult to make especially if the pass is going to be short. 5: All of these happened in a second.
Summary: it is not as easy as it looks. Very Apt. Are u in my head. U express it better than I could have |

Shukusheka: Yes Bro. We are not saying the pass is impossible to make, but it not as easy as it looks in picture. Bear in mind Havertz is left-footed and needs to make that perfect one-time short pass while sprinting. Thank heavens someone else saw what I did in real time |

BlueAngel444: if KDB renewed few months back then he would be on £400k per week as the highest earner in EPL, till Ronaldo came
Kante renewed when and when, I know of 2018 I think, when did he renew again? Ure one funny person. you blow up other clubs wages but become parsimonious when it relates to Chelsea |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 12:47pm On Sep 01, 2021 |
BlueAngel444: and Chelsea increases his salary is it now to double it to 290k after just two seasons when our highest earner was Hazard at 200k
Anyway what they pay them, it's their pocket. The team better play well and win. What I do know is that Werner is not on any salary close to 300k nor is Lukaku receiving close to 400k, when it was reported Werner signed for €10m per year and Lukaku on €12m per year
The same salarysport claims KDB earns £230k per week, when we know he earns more than £300k per week Kante has renewed twice since then. The information is everywhere, why are you even disputing this. The information there is as at 2020/2021 season, KDB renewed few months back, so understandable if its not been updated. |

Jodera: You sef see am na, exactly wetin I tell Chelsea fans. You can't give that as a penalty then turn around and say it's not a red when it's very clear that the player "denied an obvious goalscoring opportunity" even though unfortunately. It's only emotional pundits or fans that will say it's a penalty and Yellow card. No Ref will ever give or say it's a penalty and yellow card when the rules on that is very clear.

User09: Disagree. Here's IFAB rule on handball.
A handball offence is when a player:
- “Deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball;
- Touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised; or
- Scores in the opponents’ goal: — directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper; or
— immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental.”
Can you at any point in James play confirm the bolded above to be 100% certain. Either way u can make an argument for or against.
If u agree with the above, the one argument I think is impossible to make is that it was a clear and obvious error by the referee to allow play to continue. Hence it was needless for VAR to stop play and interfere
In other words, The biggest mistake in the whole play was allowing VAR to involve itself in a borderline call to begin with - they should have stuck with the initial ruling by the referee in real time that no handball occurred. Then they show a frozen image which makes the whole thing even stranger The last 3 paragraphs captures my opinion |

Jodera: to be honest, I've never seen any clear/obvious goalscoring opportunity (esp on the line) that involves handball and the player wasn't sent off. It can't just happen. The only way out is if the ref didn't blow at all.
As for the bolded, is it in reaction to the ref not giving the penalty at first?? Well, he didnt. hence my point |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 1:17pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
Jodera: The issue here is that it didn't factor in goalscoring opportunity.
As long as it denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity, then it's a red all day long. The only situation that can be averted is if the ref did not blow it at all.
Once ref blows such an incidence, a red card must follow, cos it's then a hand ball offence which denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity. They can't give yellow card for that
A very harsh rule, but then it is what it is. Wrong. Only when the handball offence is confirmed can you talk about the goal scoring opportunity. Read your attachment again My posit is simple. That was not a handball offence at least not 100% confirmed for the VAR to stop play |

Jodera: But Chelsea fans sef, how would you look at that handball and say it's not a red card. Una even go as far as petitioning the ref online . Granted, maybe the ref have blown wrongly against you guys before, but then make una no see black paint am white na.
Hopefully, I hope Chelsea appeal the red card let's see if Fa will rescind it but e sure me say Fa will still uphold the 3 match ban Disagree. Here's IFAB rule on handball. Most of my comments ddnt dwell on this yesterday. Mount and Havertz were both poor in final third decision making yesterday and they should both be criticized. Not criticize one and cook up excuse for the other U know who else was guilty of this yesterday? Kante and Lukaku!!. The only reason why Mount is getting it is cos it's turning to a regular theme with him |
