Havertz must be on some weird shii...Mount talented? What rubbish... Maybe this happens in training. I haven't been really pleased with the football interaction between Mason and Kai. Pulisic has a much better sync with Kai IMO |

patrickmuf: Most folks have not watched him play after his time with Manchester United but trust them to hold onto what they already know...
I want him at Chelsea just so the league is tough, I don't want City strolling to another EPL title...A strong United, Liverpool, Chelsea and City can only bode well for the league...
I am keen to see what Spurs will look like with NES...I have written off Everton, their signings leaves much to be desired...Arsenal? Not sure what to expect... Some things have not changed though even in Italy; like his poor record in big games, Who wants a player who lets us down in big matches and big moments. Not really in support of this move especially at the price quoted. Only hope this is media play to force Dortmund's hand |

He's a lot more refined, and his all round game has improved drastically. There's more than just pace and power to Lukaku's game now Meh...The pace in Italian league is much slower. Besides all that long Conte ball isnt TT style |

I've been watching Videos of Kounde. I think he's really good, but the videos all seem cherry-picked
Pep actually wanted the guy over Dias last season. Hopefully that counts for something. I like that he's good at retaining and progressing the ball and would fit in a possession based system. He's also one for the future; a long term buy. I would pick him a million times over Varane
Negatives - As being mentioned, he looks quite small as a CB, Not so sure about his tackles too. He also seems like someone who needs a good partner to bring out his best - all that overlapping |

Amoto94: So because you assumed that an employer chose not to discuss with an employee about the employee's pain points is enough reason to kidnap the person? You always have reason to justify wrongdoing with plenty words even when such isn't justifiable the other day you wrote that Rashford is hiding behind racism to avoid criticism, another day you insinuated that you writing that you slept with your uncle's wife is for the purpose of garnering reactions after you were roundly condemned. Yours is a case of nihilism when it suits your ego and decency when it do. This isnt what he was saying. I had the conversation many years ago with my Mum when she found it strange that people would attack their benefactors. Doesnt mean he's supporting them. It's just the psychology of why things are the way they are U'ld be naive to not think these same people have dreams and aspirations and intend to be your cleaners and drivers for long. Unfortunately, most of them are not that intelligent to do things the right way - school, degrees, job, career... Where does that leave them? - The negative aspect of things. Giving them crumbs changes nothing especially in Nigeria where even when stuffs are given to the help and drivers, the wealth gap still shows - sorta like gifting them the Mazda 1999 car while purchasing the latest Range Rover in town. For an entitled society like that; you have to know what follows next P.s - This is by no means a support of their actions just trying to see through the mess |

swiz123: Havertz10 I once told you about something I witnessed. I will tell this story more succinctly because I need a logical explanation for this...
Some years ago, I was told that one Akwa Ibom boy hears voices from his god and that if I write something on a piece of paper and fold it, he can tell me what I wrote on the paper without opening it. I am a very rational person so I laughed it off. To make them see their own stupidity, I offered to give the guy 10k if he does it in my presence.
Well, two days later, precisely on a Sunday morning they brought the boy. I went inside, wrote 10 things in a sheet of paper and folded them roughly and brought it outside. I remember writing things like:
1. Lewandowski 2. The prince of Edinburgh 3. De Bruyne 4. Nigeria is still a slave of their own independence 5. Kemi Olunloye has diarrhea of the mouth
Forgotten the rest... The boy did some incantations and some funny dances and took one of the folded paper, chewed it and spat it out. I held with me 9 pieces. I brought out the 1 one, he closed his eyes and touched it... After meditating for like 10 seconds he would say exactly what was on the sheet. I would open it to confirm. Note that I had my eyes on him and the paper was folded beyond recognition. ( Don't blame me, my money was on the line )..
This guy didn't even give me a chance to argue because those ones he couldn't pronounce, he would spell them correctly. Cos at a point, I was praying he would mispronounce words Edinburgh, lewandowski, De Bruyne or even diarrhea.
He crowned it by also saying what I wrote in the one he spat out. I didn't bother checking cos I knew he got it correctly..
Ever since then, I have been looking for logical ways to explain how that boy did that thing. The more I try, the more ridiculous I would sound.
So bro, I want to believe this is a mere parlor trick but I would like you to help give me a logical explanation why that happened. Cos I have failed Mistake number 1. Did you spoof for cameras? |

DumaEmpire: The problem with most academy players is the feeling of entitlement. Most of them just feel they don't need to fight for a shirt all because they played well against 15 year olds in the youth league. Solanke for one was a really arrogant kid. I remember one time Chelsea lost to Liverpool nd Liverpool upload the scores on their social page. this boy get mind go like the Liverpool post... All cos he didn't play. Oya Liverpool came nd carried him nd saw how useless he was.
Nathan Chalobah was another player who felt he was too good to be on the bench. Went Watford and today he is a mere average player.
I remember when Chelsea board were literally on their knees begging Odoi to sign a contract when the hype was in.
Tammy too started feeling too big cos to him he's a star boy now. Sign contract baba no gree In hindsight, I dont think this was a good move. Has set a lot of bad precedent. At least he had the advantage of being seriously looked at by a top club |

Amoto94: I'm not saying Liverpool was the right choice for him, he should have moved to a Bundesliga club to get minutes and move to EPL later but he chose Liverpool for reasons best known to him and it backfired just like Brewster. My argument is that he's talented enough and won both U-17 and U-20 titles during that period, for you to say he's not good enough is just recency bias at best and stereotyping at worse. Nope... I remember saying this on another forum where I was very active at the time. As always, I was heavily antagonized which typically happens when you criticise Chelsea academy players especially the English ones. I'm not one to believe hype except I have watched the player big-time and watched his interpretation of football |

Amoto94: In 2017 I think he won the Golden Ball at U-20 World Cup and it's only logical for him to take the next step in his career and wanting out if not guaranteed minutes at Chelsea. Solanke is better than Abraham technically, that his decision backfired doesn't mean that he wasn't good as at the time he was hyped He wouldnt have gotten it at Liverpool. Wouldnt have benched Firmino or even Mane at the wings so I didnt understand his delusion. What was the point of letting him go for free if he was still gonna be in the same circumstances. |

Havertz10: I don't understand schurley
All these cohbansexual people wouldn't kill me with laugh
We have academy players, that are constantly watched, if any is good enough, the manager is informed and he brings him to the first team
They are scrutinized and measured for value
Other players that are bought, were bought because they were better than what we have, haaland is better than all the strikers in our academy, if he needs time to settle in, we would understand, academy players wouldn't get such leeway because they haven't proven themselves to be good enough for such patience
How can you compare buying the finest player available in the market to players from our academy, I don't even understand the arrogance from Chelsea fans about cobham, only Terry can be labeled a success, mount is proving to be another overhyped cleverley, how many Ballon d'Or winners are from our academy, they win most youth cups because they are mixed with other expensive good players that were gotten from other youth teams, our academy is no different from others, make una dey calm down with the hype, besides a good player is a good player, if we see one, nobody argues about it, that's how solanke was hyped, people were wailing when he went to liverpool, where is solanke today?
Is he conquering the world? This one was another fool. Never really knew what fans saw in him. The idiot believed in his own hype so much complaining about bench time only to go to Liverpool and still warm their bench. Stalled negotiations so bad that we had to let him go for free |
