Ibime: Like I said Havertz ball retention technique in his own half is of a semi-professional level. My stomach has been turning me for months watching him do it dangerously numerous times a game. I'm actually shocked that so much dolapo could be dished out on a guy and scouts missed this obvious weakness. I saw bits of it when Leverkusen played Inter in Europa League but I didn't know it's this bad. It wasnt missed. It was broached extensively in his scout report, I remember mentioning it to you sometime back. The risk is/was higher when he plays on the wings. It's the other things he can do with/off the ball that counts Calm down...Based on what I've seen so far, Tuchel thinks different |

Ridiculous people plenty for this nairaland I said I would go check the interpretation of dispossession leading to a goal Then I realized errors leading to a goal is a better metric - even though I think its biased against Goalkeepers; Then I modified Only weak minded people tend to attack people who dont agree with their points in a debate Stay on course and stick to arguments instead of going around calling people ridiculous |

Ibime: Nobody on this thread is a super fan of Mount. Na Una Havertz fan boys wey carry Mount matter for head. We would have been happy to send Mount to development squad if Havertz came as advertised but alas Havertz is painful and disgusting to watch.
We don't care about Mount, we just respect meritocracy, and based on meritocracy, Havertz should be sent to development squad and Barkley, RLC and Conor Gallagher sef should protest how they were sent away for that fraud, talkless of Mount. Well I'm forced to defend the guy cos I dont think his criticisms are factual. - U would too if u were fairly objective Did u say no super fan of Mount - Lol, we cant deny the same rules of criticism for Kai do not apply to Mount especially given the harsh criticism on Fraudvertz. Unlike most people, I keep it objective and do not unnecessarily lay into Mount, Which I can; U know. For Instance, I thought ur Dele Alli conundrum was more suited to Mount In terms of general team play but didnt say a word, Several times this season I have avoided getting drawn into an argument about the guy Cos The team comes first for me (and should for you), not mount, Lampard or Kai |

Ibime: Well it is normal for someone to start supporting a team because of one player. We have people who named themselves after players like Hazardfan. Even myself, Babayaro and Zola brought me to Chelsea.
It is unfortunate however when the player that brought you to Chelsea is a big flop who is despised by the fans. It may cause you to rethink your support of the club. But all hope is not lost, we have fans that joined because of flops and still stuck around, so he is in good company. After all we already house MorataFC and Lordfalcao here. Nice bait. U'll deploy every arsenal.; this guy |

kushercain: This is false, The game Werner scored 2 goals. his first pl goal I think which he ran from the midfield and took on about 4 players. Havertz helped them mount the comeback by losing possession cheaply which they scored from before Kepa and Christiansen gifted them the equalizer. I can't recall the team in question but easy with the bobo bros that is if you're indeed a Chelsea fan No bobo I promise u Your point is noted; I would go check their definition of dispossession leading to a goal and revert |

Ibime: User09 cannot be a Chelsea fan. No fan of the club will accept a player whose ball retention for the team in his own half is of a semi-professional level. Virtually any ball given to Kai in his own half will have a real fan with his heart in his mouth cos that fool always looks like he will lose it, either through poor technique, spineless body positioning to receive the pass, or misjudging the weight of his pass to a fellow teammate.
Only blinkered eediots with no perception of ball retention responsibilities from a defensive aspect will find anything redeemable in that German fool. He is completely incapable and incompetent of doing midfield work at this stage. They should bulk him up and convert him to striker position cos his ball retention technique is one of the most dangerous I've ever seen in a midfielder. Cos I dont agree with ur perception of Havertz, Mount and Lampard. Doesnt matter what you say, I'm just glad Tuchel sees him differently At least I dont go around calling players I dont rate in my team funny names like the true Chelsea fan you are |

That Tuchel has tutored Mount how to be effective behind the strikers - Not true, Tuchel subbed him off and complained about our team lacking the final pass; I wonder who that sub is for
Tuchel has sent Kai to the bench permanently - Not true given that he has played the 3rd most minutes in our attack (Only Abraham and CHO has more minutes so far)
Like I said, U'll have to try harder Please explain to me how this was different from what I quoted. Don't go changing the discuss I really dont have time for this |

Ibime: It's a redundant comparison comparing one player who lost ball once to a player who lost ball twice over 90 minutes much less 10. It means nothing cos the data is too thin and smacks of desperation Like for like; no other way fair comparison given the circumstances. Thin data - yes , Desperate - No Ibime: What we do know is Kai gives the ball away dangerously. It has been confirmed with our eyes and written about extensively in tactical analysis reports in the media. Well u have a point here but it's interesting to note that he's got only one goal conceded from his dispossession all season. Ibime: He cannot be trusted with the ball in his own half, which is supposed to be bread and butter for any professional footballer, but it is extremely dangerous to give that semi-professional looking fool the ball in his own half. Ziyech is worse in this regards according to stats but I dont see u or anyone else laying into him |

Roman brought Tuchel and he sent Havertz to the bench before he sends him the way of Lampard's. That shows Tuchel is smart. This was you bro Not a nice thing to be denying what you clearly said. I wonder who cant comprehend a simple statement |

Emmynator: Talent alone isn’t good enough if you want to succeed in the Premier League. This is a according to Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, who has urged Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz not to rely on his endless talent and has urged the midfielder to work hard. Photo: Getty images Havertz has struggled since arriving at Stamford Bridge in a £75million transfer this summer and has only found the net once in 17 Premier League appearances. “What I feel from him is a very friendly, intelligent and open guy, with a lot of potential and we will push him,” said Tuchel. “He seems to be like the guy that needs to be pushed, we will not stop it. “For him, this league is perfect because he cannot rest. He has so much potential that he has to be challenged physically also, it is not enough that he can rely on his endless talent. “In the end, the question is does he have this, can he show his teeth in the end when it gets tough and I was very happy on Wednesday, it was him that did almost the decisive header in the box against all the towers from Wolverhampton. “It would have been a nice goal but he did not hesitate and that is what I want to see from him, the rest will come because Kai can be a huge, huge part of this club.”
To whom it may concern This was after the wolves game. He even complimented his performance and talked about the other parts that will be worked on Nothing to see here |

So why twist the narrative into the nonsense quoted above instead of simply saying "Kai lost possession once in 10 minutes and Mount lost possession twice in the first 10 minutes."
Dem write mumu for my forehead? Nope... I was doing a like for like comparison unlike others. Notice I was the one who used 10 minutes, Not 15, 20, 45 or whatever If anything the metric was even biased against Kai ( He played 14 mins) |

Mount lost possession more times (2 times) within the first 10 minutes of the game than Kai did all game (1 time) Well...He forgot to also tell u he looked dangerous in the small cameo and could have had a Goal or Assist save for Pulisic. Also forgot to tell u how in the small time he was on, Was the only one who gave the attempted final pass which TT complained about (Anyway this could have been the coach instruction) Anyway after watching the match the second time - I have to agree with the guy who gave Silva the Man of Match, Closely followed by Jorginho and CHO |

He has played 19 games this season, scored a whopping 0 goals and has 0 assists.
Sir, if I may, are you discretely trolling Havertz or you are serious? [/color] No I am not trolling. My point was not about the stamina but more of how observations are not always correct especially in his case I was not talking about his goals or assists, I was only drawing attention to how most of his criticisms are not factual. He cant run - False He cant press - Negative He is Lazy or Lethargic - Again, Not true |
