I am very happy with this win at least pressure don reduce we can build momentum.
iamj TalabiAudu User09 are currently in pains.
All I've ever done is criticize the coach failing tactics, why should I be in pain.

While you saw a winning team that that built momentum, I saw a very well under pressure Lampard putting his strongest lineup against a second rate team (without any academy guys on the bench).

With Barnsley and Morecambe accounting for more than half of those goals.

I've lived in this country well over a decade, and today was the first time I heard of Morecambe..

You people should be taking it easy please
Please mention all the teams Kai has played a full match against and we can have this conversation.

Apple PE Ratio is 40, in line with market average. They are actually a cash business, and their market cap is only 3 times their net asset value, a lot of which is held in raw cash.

Facebook PE Ratio is 30, lower than market average. They are now a mature business, but also fit in with your theory of exponential growth from the power of networks (tech stocks). Their price to book ratio is 6.5

The Tech stock analogy is used too literally with Tesla. They ultimately rely on car sales just like Apple rely on phone sales. They are a sales business with PE ratio of 1,700 and price to book ratio of 48.

We are not talking explosive network-driven tech here but physical sales of cars which currently is 500,000 cars for Tesla. If you combine Toyota, VW, BMW, Ford, Honda, GM, Chrysler, Peugeot, Nissan, Hyundai together, their valuation is not up to Tesla for essentially the same business of buying and selling cars which all of them do exponentially more than Tesla. In 20 years time, Tesla must be able to sell more cars than all of them combined to keep up this valuation. Will Tesla continue to have such a superior advantage in technology over all car makers in that period to justify such valuation. The Chinese car maker NIO has been boosting my portfolio this week simply on the premise that they have comparable technology to Tesla, but they go one further in that their batteries are detachable and you can swap your batteries for fully charged batteries at designated swapping points instead of waiting to recharge. NIO is now worth double GMs value just because of this. So you see, Tesla can easily be disrupted. Tesla is just the WeWork of the car industry for now. Companies with 10 times more leased square footage were wondering why WeWork had 10 times their valuation, until kasala burst for WeWork.
Not exactly the same; More structural in the case of Tsla.

We are in unison in terms of it being overvalued, not on the bust premise though.

Quick question - Why not short them, U seem really convinced

I will advise you to cash out half of it. Use it all to buy high performance index funds, don't look at it again until you're 50 or after a long time. At a 10% avg annual ROI, you'll have close to $8,000,000 if not more with no subsequent investments.
This is a huge leap...lol.

I am no expert but in my humble opinion just being a tech stock is not enough to sustain such share value.

TSLA had better come good on its promise and either crack time travel, space travel or do some other revolutionary stuff.

If they do they soar into orbit literally and figuratively. If they don’t many people will shed sorrow, tears, and blood.
While I agree it's significantly overvalued at current levels, I really dont agree with a bust; maybe a convergence to a lower price level in the future

Funny how as a stats guy, I have so many unflattering metrics of Mount that would cripple any silly optimism about him but I dont do it or bring them up

Cos for me, The bigger problem is the coach tactics which of course I keep highlighting but most people would rather turn the argument to Havertz vs Mount which recently I try as much as possible to avoid. The only reason why Mount comes up in my post is cos lampard tactics depends a lot on the guy - Same reason why Jorginho would always come up in Sarri criticism.

Any objective person can easily see that the team is not playing to its full potential, attributing it to one player doesnt do the team justice likewise sentiment, favoritism and mediocrity from the coach

No one is sacrificing creativity for pressing. We are just unfortunate to have shelled 10s of millions on a player who we are being told is creative but we are damn sure is lazy. And until we see that he is able to put in a decent shift to help the team (which I am hoping he will achieve as he is just 21), we are not going to bench those who bring sheer grit and desire with half as much creativity.

Havertz at this moment, cannot match the creativity of De Bruyne's and Bruno, but damn those fellas put in infinitely more work than what we see from Kai. Sitting Kai on the bench is not sacrificing creativity, it is common sense. We are not going to condone strolling and primadonna attitude from a player at 21. He should hit the gym and move in with Kante, to get some hybrid touch to his game, if he is going to fulfill half of the promise he has.

Ziyech has barely had a run in this team for more than 5 games in a row. So no one can or should be blamed for not inventing with Ziyech's abilities. Let's have him in a decent run, then we can experiment.

Lampard did not even start this season with a 4-3-3. He experimented with 2 strikers upfront. He played RLC in a forward position behind Tammy, hoping to change something. He fell back to 4-3-3 when we had a run of inconsistent results, so we can have some consistency. So those saying he doesn't try other things are completely wrong.

I have seen top managers with that moronic, helpless look on the sidelines, unable to influence losing streaks and everything just seemed to be going wrong no matter what 11 they chose.

Lampard just needs a run of good fortune. A few easy games to put some wins under his belt, and players keeping fit. We get that confidence back and then see what happens. A team does not go on a run of 17 games unbeaten by mistake. The quality is there and the system to bring our the best in the quality is also there. So I don't see the need for all this foaming over what is clearly a squad depth problem.
Again u make this about Havertz

What about Kante, Kova, Jorgi?.

Let me reiterate this if I wasnt clear enough; Every midfielder is playing out of position except Mount. If he really wanted nothing but his double 8, clearly Barkley and RLC should not have gone on loan

Every other thing you wrote there about havertz can easily be discredited but I wouldnt so we do not change the discourse

I have been consistent across all my post with what should be our best formation

4-2-1-3, Kova/Mount and Kante. He doesnt even need to start kai as the advanced, Ziyech would do and playing CHO right there in his natural position

We cannot keep sacrificing creativity for pressing

Mount is the only player performing in that midfield my friend unless you missed it. All the above is rubbish. Mount can even play in a pivot for Kai so it's nothing to do with favouritism.

Your lazy German AM aka I scored 12 goals and 6 assists at Leverkusen while doing no midfield work so let me stroll and do the same at Chelsea. If you want to play AM without doing work, you better come up with 30 G+A regularly. Any fool can do 18 G+A in AM if they don't have any responsibility. Nigga literally played as striker with those shyte numbers that he thinks entitle him to stroll around. Go take a cue from Bruno Fernandes to know what we are competing with.
I have said it multiple times and across most of my post that the dynamics of the midfield is not being fully utilized with insisting on Mount in it. U guys still dont get it, It's not about what he does, It's about fully utilising our other players in their best positions without sticking to this double 8 stuff. This is the same reason why Dele Alli no longer starts for Spurs, He doesnt make the players around him better

Call Havertz whatever you like. He's clearly beaten Mount on the assist and goal metrics this season while playing significantly less and out of position if I may add.

U would prefer the goals and assist right; or would you rather stick to your flatter to deceive presser guy

This isnt even about Havertz, Can u not see how Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho are all rubbish in the middle as Lampard insists on playing them in a not so compatible formation. The pieces are not fitting right and it all stops on Lampard desk

Lampard deserves my patience after 17 games unbeaten and over 10 stellar years of service, and I will give him it. We knew it was going to be a rocky period after the Everton and Wolves defeats looking at the fixtures. I have never thought this squad was balanced, especially in the Striker and DM positions, no depth at fullback and what we are seeing is a conflagration of all those personnel issues, injuries, and yes, some tactical naivety from Lampard. And yet, every Chelsea fan has a different version of their starting 11 and claim Lampard doesn't know what he's doing when their favourites aren't picked. Someone said he's a fool for not starting Giroud or Tammy, another said he should be playing Werner and is not getting the best out of him. One criticised for playing Mount, another said Havertz is rubbish. Another said Kovacic is a fraud and Barkley should be playing, ignoring the fact that was whom Havertz was brought to replace. Another said Ziyech is too soft and can't track back, and CHO should have started, meanwhile half the fans hate CHO. The only section of the team we all agree is the goalkeeper and defence.

All this means is we are struggling for players that solve our problems regardless of blowing £130m on the German Daniel James and new Ozil.
Lol.

The problem with the team is pretty clear. Every other thing ure saying is pandering to your soft spot for Lampard.

How can anyone not see that the midfield is the problem. I said it at the start of the game and will keep saying it.

Play 4411, 4231, 343 or even 3511 and the problem of creativity is reduced, of course he's never gonna do that cos Mount wouldn't start in any of those formation. Everyone stands still when Pulisic is moving with the ball, No motion or runners.

Everytime Werner has to come to the middle to get the ball instead of making runs down the forward lines. Even when he does, No one is picking them

Kovacic would never thrive as an 8 neither would Kante (or even as a lone 4) ditto Kai, Why the hell does he stick with it. Did u not see City today. Not only is Lampard clueless, he's also stubborn as well.

The success of the team comes first and not accommodating other players for bloody Mason Mount.

Not a Chelsea fan but Lampard has already shown his ability as a manager last season when he had to work with youngsters and did well. He promoted young players like James, Mount, Tammy and others and achieved a good result.

This season with no preseason, injuries, new signings still struggling to adapt he doesn't know his first Eleven yet and where to fit in plsyerdy and I thought it was a long term project so why are you overreacting.
Believe me. I am not Overreacting

These issues were also present last season and are not just showing up.

Replace Werner and Kai with Pulisic and Kante and u still have the same problems last season. How will they adapt when they are not being setup to succeed

Lets not get started on how everyone else were terrible - Even Man u finished 3rd last season

A long term project should show promise - I clearly mentioned that till date no Chelsea fan knows what Lampard football philosophy is, We dont know his style or Ideas. On top of that he's doing the basic things wrong. No matter how we see it. We are in the results business and sadly Lamps isnt delivering

Lampard Tactical Inflexibility and cluelessness.

1. Insists on a 4-3-3, despite zero productivity, and not playing to the strength of players (of course this is the only formation where Mount is a nailed on starter. Selecting wrong players for the wrong positions (Kante, Havertz, Pulisic, Timo).

2. Zero tactics, no combination - Back pass-sideways pass- sideways pass- down the line, cross and Insha'Allah. What do they learn in training. They dont even know how to take advantage of counter attacks with all the runners in the team. Funny how attacking through the middle are the relative strengths of Pulisic, Havertz and Werner

3. Insists on a cross and nod - yet subs out Giroud for Werner

4. Zero Movements - Everyone stands still, No off ball movements. No trying to take advantage of other players movement. Again, a coach/training issue

5. Stupid Impactless Sub - No in-game awareness, Makes a stupid sub, then waste a second sub trying to correct the first mistake. This has happened few times

6. No Philosophy - 2 years later, Can someone clearly articulate what Lampard's coaching philosophy is. What is his style, I certainly do not know it. We dont even have a system in place

7. Cluelesssness from players - Looks like they dont even understand what they are to do. They are starting to look casual, disinterested and we all know what this means

He will always remain a legend in the club but sadly not all good players turn out to be great coaches
